Is there an installous app for android like on iphone? A way to get paid apps for free(cracked apps)
Sent from my LG-P509 using XDA App
Honestly, that's the first thing I wanted also. Then i saw how almost every app is free or a donate version. Just help the author out a little, especially since google doesn't take a huge cut of the profits like crapple.

lol wow this is the last place to look for warez... i suggest u follow mattmartin77's advice and just pay the small fee so that the devs that make the apps u like can keep making them.....
Instead of buying a 99c cheeseburger from BK or McD you can spend it on an app that someone put quite some time into \o/

Wrong place to ask this buddy...
You want to pirate apps that developers pour COUNTLESS hours of time into because you are too much of a cheap ass to spend 1 DOLLAR on someone's hard work? Some people just don't have any ethics or morals whatsoever, it is really quite sad.
One post...Why not just publicly say you want to steal?? Grow up, pay the devs and show some respect and class.

I would just like to point out this post was against XDA rules.
By asking for this I assuming you do not wish to show support to our devs which is what this website is all about. Shame on you.
Cheap ass. You spend the money on the device and data plan but you're too cheap to spend a couple of bucks on quality software. You suck.

Na, he specifically named installous. And that is where you downloaded cracked apps for the iphone.
Even if he dose here is not the place to discuss. The development team work hard to bring apps, if ppl are gonna crack them why would they even release them??

I don't care if it's deragatory and flame igniting, I'll say it again.

Nope, the idiot made it pretty clear he's looking for an Installous like market..
It is my understanding that you can get a refund for anything you buy that doesn't work out (in the first day or two i think). that coupled with all the trial apps, means there is no legit reason to use a cracked app.
Not that i ever agreed with that excuse, but some people suggested that it was there reason for wanting cracked apps - to try before buy.
Support developers and don't fool with cracked apps. It is stealing.
I don't think installous on iphone is that bad. I used it so I didn't have to pay for apps and I will admit that but then the app store is so massive anyway it doesn't matter. They will still develop for it.
On android however I think it is av completely different story. As the market isn't that big we need to be supporting developers and giving them a reason to want to develop for android. If everyone on android are going to crack the apps anyway then why would developers ever move from apple to android?

Anyone have this apk? Would be very appreciated as HuddleHub doesn't really work that well
buy it in the market. no warez
Its a bit of a ripoff. Everything you can do in the app, you can do with the website.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
exactly, thats why I want the apk because I really don't feel like paying $5. But if no one has it i guess I'll have to buy it
It's not that no one has it, its that xda has rules against sharing paid apps on here. No warez they say, so if you want an app that costs, you better buy it
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
I just use the mobile website, mobi.espn I think. Anyway I use it for both baseball and football. Not sure if the app is more intuitive. You could buy it and write a review, lol.
the app is good. if you can afford $5 (and I'm sure you can), buy it. if you don't want to buy it, just use the mobile website.

precisely!! Its similar to going out to eat. Sure you can buy pasta, tomato sauce, oregano, etc to make spaghetti for cheaper than what the restaurant charges, but you pay for the CONVENIENCE of someone else doing the work for you. Same with the app...just buy it if its worth it to you. Cost v. benefits ya know?
Hello, this is a quick massage, for a few devs:
A ROM developer, who has his ROMs on CWMs website, has implemented a few apps, that are normally paid only!
These apps include:
1. Apex Launcher pro
2. franco.Kernel updater (Franciscofranco has been notified)
3. Root Explorer (file manager)
4. Tapatalk 2
As I don't know all the devs, could you please take note, and notify thedevs, in your spare time
The ROM will be taken down from clockworkmod.com, to prevent more pirating
If you like, you can also post, with other pirated apps from other ROMs, this way we could maybe have a chance against idiots, who pirate and redistribute apps!
I will update this thread, as often as I can, and keep informing devs
Edit: If you have found stuff like this, feel free to report it here in the thread. It's not like anyone will criticize you (Not like that one user below).
I don't support piracy in any way what so ever but what the hell does it have to do with you? You sound like the little snitch who grasses every body up at school. Go away and get a life half of what gets done on xda is illegal hexing binary drivers etc.
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2
Also tapatalk is free on amazon app store and apps like apex are google code open source so should really be free like the world of linux.

Bit harsh to criticise him for letting developers know their commercial apps are being used without their permission. If someone used apps you created and sold wouldn't you want to know?
Tapatalk is not free. It is a commercial app made available free to some users under a deal with certain businesses so we can get it free but it is still a paid and copyrighted commercial app and whether we like it or not redistributing a paid app without permission to is piracy.
Apex pro is not free or open source only the less well featured non pro version is open source and free so again it is piracy.
Ideally the rom creator should be contacted privately as it could be an innocent mistake on their part but that doesn't make the op bad for letting people know their apps are being used in such a way.
Maybe the op is a cwm fan who doesn't want them targeted by those who have shut down popular sites that hosted pirated content and hopes that infringing content can be removed?

Exactly. You let this kind of stuff fly and you'll see Rom Manager removed from the market, if not sued for facilitating copyright infringement.

I did say I'm against piracy but people should just keep out of other people business. look let Rom manager dev know and let the app devs know sure but that's it we don't need a thread on it and we don't need people looking out for it. This is a Dev site, to support people who develop, so someone reporting on pirated software is doing the right thing. People aren't going to make product if one of the biggest sites out there condones it. Thankfully, you are in the minority. Feel free to state your opinion, but do so constructively and treat others with respect.

386 posts and 23 thanks in 6 years as a member (2 of them coming from tools reading this quoted post by you). You are obviously an important member of this forum and do your best to help and support others . How about you just take your douchebaggery elsewhere? Everyone knows XDA is against the piracy of the apps developed by the people that make this site what it is.
What is up with all of these new people using the app-developers app? I mean is spending a couple bucks to get the full version of the xda app so hard? Hell I spent the money to buy the full tapatalk app so I can use it on any forum that supports it.

I understand people have parents that wont allow them to buy apps. I understand people live in countries where its almost impossible to purchase apps.
I will point and laugh at people that dont change the sig from the default.
I would also bet people think because it says app-developers app they think it has something special.
Also you do know the xda app is a modified version of tapatalk. If you own the premium version of tapatalk there shouldnt be anything in the premium version of xda that is not available in the tapatalk. I agree each person has their own preference.
As for how people come here for help...how is that related to my question?
Just saying people come here looking for help and what not.....not to be laughed at....

Kinda funny. I never noticed it till I saw this thread. For me, I just typed xda in the search bar in the market, and picked the first one with the "official" logo. I didn't even know there was a choice. I don't think I'm fooling anyone with an app dev signature

Yeah, it's all because app developers are Linux guys, and you know how they are...
I never noticed the difference myself. I didn't buy the paid version because I'm wasn't then and still am not that impressed with the app, in general. I guess I never really considered it "supporting XDA" to buy the app. Hmm, I guess it is, now that I think of it. Maybe when they make it so that reading all the posts in a forum actually makes it marked "read" on the app...

Seriously???? There is ONE rule that I do NOT tolerate AT ALL.. And that's warez..
How DARE you come to a forum that's for developers and post about pirated apps?!? That is tasteless. Would you walk up to Metallica and try to sell them a bootleg of one of their CDs? Or ask them "Hey where can I buy a bootleg of your last CD" I seriously doubt you will. Show some respect. There are tons of devs here that make your devices better... FOR FREE.. They put in hours of work FOR FREE.. and yet you want to steal from them the money they do make from their apps? That is UNACCEPTABLE, It's a huge slap in the face of the devs, is tasteless and is disrespectful. I'm usually leanant with handing out infractions but not with this. I take this VERY seriously, more than any other rule.. So infractions WILL be handed out.
