I have a question...i have a Miphone m89....I think is China.....I can instal windows 6.5 or 7 on this phone? at home?
I highly, *highly* doubt you could flash it with anything, there might be a community that's working on it, but it's not us.

Hi, i have a HTC S710 from Telia, it's not locked though. How can i get Windows Mobile 6.1? Which ROM should i use? Have you had any problems with it before? Are there any disadvantages of WM 6.1?

Already there is lot of stuff on wm6.1, first search and then post.
Mods, pls delete this thread ASAP.
Just use the clean windows mobile 6,1 v1.1 by fireburned .it,s fast and clean .

You can install Office Mobile, just do a SEARCH and you´ll find it

Tnx, but on the mobile phone of a friend, there arent any MO app, nothing, so I need the whole program.
She bought the tytn from me, and now I have to put MO on...will this update also work??

this worked for me, if you have some problems, you can simply extract cab from msi and install it manually

I have for 30min ago flashed windows mobile 6.5 to my Polaris. But it isnt the original it haves the terrible manilla 2d interface.
So i used the Web to search for the original for Polaris.
But i didnt found it.
Can someone help me pls pls ??

You hadn't search a lot. You can switch manilla 2D to default windows 6.5 home in pcarvalho rom for example.
Which rom have you install. Give us pore details if you want help.

it's been a while, but not many WM6.5 roms around? I see only pcarvalho and pdaviet in the forum
but there's no way to search "WM6.5" as it returns nothing.
before there were many Wm6.1 roms...
You need only to read THIS page, is full of WM6.5 roms...

and the sticky that was there for WM6.1 etc now gone...
tried pcarvalho eXtreme but it seems very slow, is this due to WM6.5 itself? should I stick to official WM6.1?

Try to flash the original wizard rom back, then follow the guides for flashing roms to flash 6.5 rom.

first you should have to know about ips and spl then upgrade new rom.
