I have the PocketCM Keyboard installed, I like this because I have fat fingers and it does the job, however if I got to select this keyboard I get the default "white keyboard", not only this, I can't select the PocketCM keyboard in the settings and input selection as it just defaults to the normal keyboard.
Any ideas?

I haven't noticed this until now, but if I select all text in a browser (hold down on text and select select all) and try to backspace, it either won't work (ASUS and Swype) or will force close the keyboard. (SwiftKey). The only one that does this without crashing is the stock android keyboard. How do I fix this if possible?

How to apply PC layout?

Instead of hijacking the original thread the above question came from, I'll put the instructions in this new one.
The Android keyboard (AOSP) (and the Google Keyboard, I believe) is capable of having a numbers row and being set up to resemble a traditional PC keyboard. For those who are unfamiliar with how to set it up, here's how:
Go to Settings > PERSONAL > Language & Input
Press the settings button to the right of 'Android keyboard (AOSP).'
In 'Android keyboard settings,' scroll all the way down and press 'Advanced settings.'
In 'Advanced settings,' press 'Custom input styles.'
In 'Android keyboard settings,' press the 'ADD STYLE' button on the upper-right corner of the screen.
Choose your Language. Then choose 'PC' for the Layout. Press the 'Add' button when done.
Return to the 'Android keyboard settings' page in step 3. Press 'Input languages.'
In 'Input languages,' deselect 'Use system language' and any other default 'ACTIVE INPUT METHODS.' Select the method that corresponds to the language you previously chose that is followed by '(PC).'
Back out of Settings, and enjoy your PC layout keyboard.
Hope this helps.
Very nice guide, cheers, I was wondering how to get the number keys to show :good:
EDIT - Not a biggy, but it doesn't seem to have changed to UK layout even after following the guide perfectly, the @ symbol is above the 2 and the " symbol is above the right shift key, that is the US keyboard layout, the UK layout is reversed
Like I say, not a big deal, just wondering why it didn't set UK up even though I have it selected

This looks like an oversight/bug by Google:

If you want to try another keyboard with a PC layout, how about Hacker's Keyboard:
http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.pocketworkstation.pckeyboard&hl=en
It claims to support 'English/British (en_GB),' and it even includes arrow keys.
I installed the KitKat Google keyboard, but it looked like the PC keyboard has been removed as an option. Can anyone confirm this; or better yet, suggest a workaround?
