Hi Saka,
I thought of trying it but i got feedback that it will brick the phone. Also the 5510 ROM is not a single tar file. It is multiple .tar.md5 files.
I thought better not to try that and instead got back to original ROM.
If you are planning to do, please be ultra careful.
Tried it (just open files), its structure is not like I5800's one.. But maybe you can try its kernel .

I would like to try the megam ROM my doubt is, is it possible to come back if something doesn't work to the original ROM? And if yes how? I read someting about oli pro, but it's the first time I tried ti flash a PDA so please hel me.

yes..it´s possible...just look in my thread under steps...or i think salvy (megan rom) have also a link to the original rom....and flash hardspl before flash another rom..it´s a must have...

I need to download the pit, pda, modem and csc to get stock froyo 2.2 on a free unlocked Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000N . I had a problem with a flashing I was doing and aparently did something stupid , but now i can´t get back to the stock rom.

I am currently trying to run Nexus S roms on my Samsung Captivate but I need a .pit file. Can I get someone here with a Nexus S to make me one. It can be done with Heimdall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

didnt want to make a duplicate thread but I too am trying to make a completely hard bricked nexus s back to life. I need a PIT file from a Nexus S i9020
Can anyone with heimdall 1.3.2 download their pit file from their phone and upload it here? PLEASE??

Could u please tell me what method u r following to unbrick...so I could try it as well....I have tried getting the usb jig w/o any luck so far, unrbickable mod not detecting phone...havent tried the phsyical hardware unbrick mod yet

I was wondering if anybody here was still looking for a custom rom for the Empire Electronix K701.
Since I revived mine today I directly took the original firmware and rooted it.
Most stock apps have been removed aswell, cause I simply don't see the point in having them.
( had Angry Birds as a stock app ¬_¬ )
Back to the point; If anybody here is still interested in getting a rom for this tablet, please let me know and I will *TRY* to edit the firmware in the way YOU want it ( after testing it myself ofcourse ).

So could you tell me what version you have of Android for it? And how I can actually root that damn device..?

I will upload the pre-rooted firmware for you tomorrow.
I believe I'm running 4.1.1 aswell.. I'm not that good a dev to port higher android versions to the device..

Well even rooted is already awesome!
I've been trying to root it for hours now.. Without any real luck.. It works in ADB shell and only app is Root Explorer.
None of other root apps works. So.. Thanks already!

Do not search around JIAYU, because it is not an original, it's a fake phone, most probably an elephone P6i.
I have exactly the same and I have do the same mistake, I have flash it with a wrong rom and I can not boot it now.
fortunately, it is always recognized by SPFlashTool, I need only the original rom of that ....
I have tryed already several roms, from elephone P6i, goophone i6 and no success.
I am also searching the right rom ....

I even tried to contact every single seller at aliexpress asking about original ROM and all of them play stupid. I tried to install elephone rom but without success.
If it's a fake s5 it could be an HDC, try needrom.com

I've an original G5S+ (octa core, 2 gb ram, stb....and I dont have a back and menu button), and I also need an original rom for that (all my application stops, camera and everything...when I try to go to the recovery menu, just reboots, reboots, and reboots)
