What i'm using is Ubuntu 12.04
First of all , I need a driver so my laptop can recognize the phone after I format it.

[Q] Guide - how to root HTC Sensation on Mac

Hey guys,
I want to root htc sensation (it is nor opened byt htcdev) to Jelly Bean. However, I have Mac OS X (latest one OS). Could you tell how to do that? On other pc I have Windows 8 where I did not find drivers and do not want to downgrade it. Is is possible without windows virtualization?
Please help me, some guide for dummies!

i haven't seen so far any thread for rooting devices by using a mac so your only option is windowas 8 pc

Here's a guide to get all that stuff set up on your Mac http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1917237. After you follow that you can unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery the same as you would on a PC

Can't you go to your manufacturers support page for your device and find the drivers manually?

Please check MS compatibility snapshot....I'm not sure ...If someone is working on this already.
