--- How it works ---
Sweeter home is a new take on a launcher that offers high levels of customisation
the launcher will seem a little overwhelming at first but stick with it and post any questions you may have in this thread
Basically, The themes are made up of trays, these contain text and apps, these trays can be controlled to turn on/off by items called springboards,
see my above screens,
I have written down a few things ive learnt so far i hope they may be of help to you
--- A Quick Guide to making your own theme ---
1 - To create a new theme from scratch press your options key and click edit theme,
Pressing options again and clicking more will enable you to start a new theme from scratch
Now you have 5 blank screens (up, down, left, right) to add things to
2 - Either long press or click options and select "New" to see a list of objects which can be added to your screen
All Applications - a drawer of all of your applications
Calendar - Sweeterhome built in calendar that displays events
Contact list - a Scrollable box containing contacts
Current date - a Box containing the date
Current time - a Box containing the time
Custom Tray - A scrollable app draw that can hold selected apps (music, tools, games, ect)
Live Map - A live scrollable google map (that for some reason centers over chicago for me)
Picture - Select an image
Plain colour - an empty box that cannot contain apps or shortcuts, (use this as a background for buttons
Recent calls - Scrollable Recent call list
Recent SMS - Scrollable Recent SMS list (doesnt display phone numbers)
Search box - Sweeterhomes personalised search box
Springboard - A Key item on sweeter home, (see below)
System widget - Click to place a standard widget
Tagged tray - Useful trays that are controlled online via your sweeterhome account ( personally i dont use these)
Text - A Box of text
After you have selected an item E.G a text box Long press and click EDIT
In the edit screen you can change just about all the aesthetics of boxes
colour, frame, text, scroll directions ect
MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE THE TITLE and TRAY I.D to something relevant if you intend to use a springboard to control when it appears
---Using springboards---
A springboard is a button that once pressed will show / hide other trays and widgets
this is why its necessary to change the names of the boxes and widgets you create
E.G
1- create a system widget and name it (winamp)
2- exit the edit screen and place the Winamp widget on the screen by clicking the red box
3- go back to edit and create a springboard, Call this (Music)
4- long press the springboard and select the (systemwidget:winamp) to be controlled
5- Exit the edit screen
Now hopefully whenever you press your springboard box/button labeled music your winamp widget will appear/dissapear
This can be done with most of the items, note how in my screens menus and docks can appear/dissapear with the touch of a springboard
-- Layers --
As you Photoshop users will know "Layers are important"
in sweeter home this also applies
in the "EDIT" screen there will be an option "layer level", the default for this is 10
some tips:
- always keep springboards on layer 10 as then they will always be at the top and not become covered by any text/images you place over them

what is the major advantages in comparison to LP and AWD ex?

The major advantages would be the ability to create your own docks that can be shown/hidden with a single touch
the docks can contain links icons text and other widgets,
and i think with perseverance you can create docks that can contain more buttons which in turn can open more docks
its all a little complex to , but i really do recommend having a play about with it and keeping an eye on its market release

Also, is the clock beautiful widget or something different?

The clock is The X10's default digital clock app with the 1x1 beautiful weather widget, I've recently changed this so when you click the weather the 4x1 widget shows up underneath it (this keeps getting cooler and cooler)
my theme can be found under Spee_Simple on the themes menu

it's cool, but seriously over thought out.
customization is mind blowing, but so little tutorials and no explanations make it nearly impossible to make your own theme.
downloadable themes never work on the x10 due to our semcphonebook. so none of the shortcuts actually work.
looks cool, seems cool, great idea, but way to over whelming

it's very powerful when you begin to understand. Drove me crazy yesterday, but you can easily relink the shortcuts to x10 phonebook and add a lot more cool stuff. Am totally happy with it right now. It's the only homescreen where you can sort, show and hide widgets with a single button.
I actually reduced my homescreen to one screen. For example winamp, soundhound and youtube widgets simply disappear when I'm not on the "multimedia" tile It's the same with contacts, messages, recent calls, facebook and so on. really great stuff! Will post pics as soon as I'm home ^^

i'm sure it's great. i know i would like it since you have so much control over the content. but i tried downloading a theme. found out that none of the shortcuts worked. so i tried modifying it. only 1 layer would show in edit mode, so i googled around to find out how to edit/create themes, nothing found. so i tried creating my own theme. after 20 minutes, i finally got 1 box created with the time and date. gave up, took way too long just to create a theme and i really didn't know what else i could/wanted to do with it.
there's such little documentation and discussion on it that it's virtually impossible for a regular user to just download it and start using it.
that's where sweeterhome's short coming is. golauncher, adw, zeam, lpp, they are all similar in a sense that they act-react the same as the stock launcer. so even if you can't find info on them, you get the gest of how to use them. sweeterhome is different, large learning curve and little documentation.

I have updated the first post with a quick guide of what ive learnt so far, ill keep adding to it as i learn more, i hope it can be of some help to anyone
svtfmook - if you long press on the screen you have the option to select items that are hidden under layers (at the bottom of the longpress menu)

I understand most of the basics and like my customization quite well, but I wasn't able to do one thing:
how can I create a springboard, that enables one tray and disables another one at the same time? To explain what I want to do: I want to create a big clock in the free space of my homescreen, which is on by default. But when I for example press "messages", the clock should disappear and the (transparent) message box should appear right there. Sounds quite easy but I didn't find an option to "disable on press". Is this possible?
Another thing I find quite annoying in Sweeterhome: you cannot swipe when there's an object. My screen is quite filled with springboards, which makes it difficult to change screen
Everything else is just fine, and I'm amazed that Sweeterhome doesn't lag although my homescreen is filled with widgets multiple times
edit: my homescreen right now:
http://img819.imageshack.us/slideshow/webplayer.php?id=screenshot10d.png
it's pretty much a predesigned theme from the market, but all the shortcuts and springboards had to be fixed since none of them work on x10.

I can confirm qwer23´s statement when you want to change the screen. I really hate this. I need about 5-10 times to change screen -.-
regards

Ok, what you ask is possible. first what you have to do is put the clock on a low layer like 1. Then make a picture on layer 2 that fills the whole screen that matches your wallpaper (or dont even use wallpaper just just full screen pictures like i do. Then in the spring boards that you are using to open your custom tray, use it also to open the picture thus covering layer 1 and making your clock disappear.
You just need to experiment. there is a lot that this home replacement can do.
For instance, you can have one spring board that opens 4 other spring boards simultaneousnessly then each one of these can control certain menus or folders and widgets. then from within each one of these you can have it so clicking each spring boards will either close all other boards or keep them open depending on the group that you lable them in.
i encourage anyone to give this home replacement more then a 20 minute try because it takes a while to figure everything out. I wish the the developer would make a tutorial on how to take full advantage this.
one word of advice. don't bother using any of the themes that you can download because they are set for other phone with other defaults and other programs and widgets and they will not work properly on your phone. just go to edit and start a new one from scratch.
it takes a while to get what you want. for example if you want a custom icon there are 2 ways to get this. first you can create a picture containing the icon you want and then create a custom drawer, exit edit mode then long press that drawer to add the icon from a list of your apps. then go back into edit mode. edit the custom drawer to lock so you can not add more apps or remove this on. then edit icon style and change icon blending to clear so it is invisable thus only showing the icon picture you added the first time. blahhhh... sounds like a lot of work. well it is.
the other way is to use desktop visualizer. create a widget with the one you want and then it is done.
be patient and give it a try. here is a theme that i created.
first is the home screen, press the android and it opens a spring board to other spring boards with commonly used apps and widgets. second is my app drawer, this is the bottom screen. swipe up and it brings you here, back button returns to home screen. the last is the just more folders and stuff. i plan to do more but it takes time.
hope this helps anyone who is willing to give sweeter home a try.

Has anyone found a "solution" to scrool easier between screens?

There isn't really anything you can do about being able to scroll on an open widget. hopefully the developer will fix this in future updates.
the only suggestion that i have is to keep a good chunk of your home screen free of anything like widgets or whatever to allow you to scroll. The other this is that the back button will always bring you to your home scree so with an open space on your home screen you can scroll to left, right, top or bottom no problem and then hit back button t return to home screen and you shouldn't have any problems.
regards

can i use this for x10 mini pro 2.1?

How can I add widget in one download theme please ?

Honeycomb layout.

First off, this is not a theme, there's nothing to flash so nothing can go wrong. All it requires is your time and effort.
Also, some users have reported that ADW EX restarts/crashes after the layout has been applied. Just as a heads up before you try this, make a backup if your current layout to be safe.
Like a lot of other people, I love the way Honeycomb looks, and as this isn't available to us (yet, hopefully) I decided to replicate it as best as I could.
BONUS! If you don't like reading, heres a video! Massive thanks to jinsoku3g

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
http://www.mediafire.com/?55lu57ac8flu1a6
*MIRROR* http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F1TK5OEV - Extract to a folder on your SD card.
ADW EX
Visual Task Switcher
Organised Apps
Google Search
ADW Honeycomb theme (GFX version)
One More Clock Collection
Desktop Visualizer
Honeycomb Clocks
Pulse News Reader
Colorize Widgets
And your Tab
The above apps are/should all be available on the Market. A few are paid apps but should have free versions
ADW EX Settings (free ADW might not have some settings I list):
10 columns & 8 rows
Home orientation - landscape
Overlap Widgets - no
Auto stretch Widgets - yes
Main dock - hide to expand desktop
Dockbar - optional
app drawer doesn't matter as its not used.
Screen transition - 1
The other settings you can change to suit what you want
Now for the theme:
Make a 3x1 and a 2x1 DVR (Desktop Visualizer) widget on your homescreen.
3x1 widget: select the Google Search picture extracted from the zip. For the application, choose Google Search. Clear the label and no touch effect.
2x1 widget: choose the + picture from the zip and make it open Organised Apps. Clear label and no touch effect.
Place the Widgets at he top left and right of your homescreen.
Add the Honeycomb Clock to your homescreen. Resize to 3x3
Longpress homescreen, go to launcher actions. Add 'show/hide status bar' to your homescreen. Longpress on it, press edit, delete the labels, change the icons to the left arrow icon from the Honeycomb Theme. Add Visual Task Switcher to the homescreen, clear label and choose the fan looking icon from the HC theme icon pack. Longpress homescreen, launcher actions, 'shoe previews' clear label and choose the up arrow icon from the HC theme.
Arrange them on the bottom left of your homescreen.
Add One More Clock widget to ADW, press it, go to personalize clock, press menu, toggle visibility, back out to ADW, resize to 3x1, move to bottom left of your homescreen.
Copy those steps on all of your screens (if you want to/have the patience) and add the other widgets how you want them.
For the preview type Widgets, got to a free screen, add a 2x2 DVR widget, select the Browser icon, choose it to open the browser of your choice, clear label and no touch effect. Repeat with the apps you want
Hopefully that's not too long or too complicated. If you have any questions/don't understand a step, send me a pm and ill edit the post

ok, I have two teasers, I did get to make a video, but like I was saying the recorder is all messed up, so check this out..
density 160, resized HC widgets a bit smaller to give it a less crowded feel, also redirected the home launcher button on the bottom right to take you home or lock screen, instead of visual task manager try perfect tast manager and set it to long press your search key, looks like HC to me
and Ganjdroid, the video ill be uploading tomorrow i did a little demonstration of how to setup your widgets, should be easy enough for everyone

MIUI: The guide

Hi, I’ve been enjoying MIUI for quite some time now, and would like to share my experience with others.
Often people ask “So, what’s different?” Hopefully this post will cover as many features, tips and differences from other android distributions to answer this question.
Note: In no way I’m associated with MIUI dev team, everything I wrote is my personal experience and my likings about the ROM. I’m just a happy user.
What differentiates MIUI from other distributions?
Lockscreen
Probably one of my favorite features is the customizable lockscreen. It can be totally customized, themed, and is very clever. For instance you can turn your flashlight on by pressing and holding the Home button of your device, without even unlocking your phone. As soon as you release the button the flashlight will switch off.
Double tap on the clock bar will enable lockscreen music controls. Double tap again to disable.
You can assign your favourite music player to control:
Settings -> Button settings -> Media button -> take precedence to respond...
You can also view, read and open the SMS app as well as your Phone app. All while your phone is locked.
This is just the default lockscreen I’m talking about. Hundreds of others will enable you for more options, like opening your preferred apps etc…
Lockscreen Examples:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134657
Custom launcher
Launcher works a lot like iOS in the sense that it doesn’t have an app drawer per se. In my experience that is the single biggest thing turning people away from MIUI after first experiencing it. But that’s where the similarities end. Being an Android distro, you have choices
The workaround many people use is creating folders, which are also a bit different to your standard AOSP folders. Creating Folders for Games, Tools, Media, etc. is actually a lot more usable and logical, than having a huge list of apps sorted alphabetically in an app drawer. Putting a folder onto the dashboard simulates the app drawer nicely. If you think about it, any app drawer in any launcher is a glorified folder with all your apps put there by default. You can sort MIUI folder contents alphabetically, by date/time and frequency of use.
The MIUI launcher has options like shadows under icons, scroll effects, render quality and so on. The biggest difference is the ease of creating and deleting new screens and uninstalling unneeded apps. To uninstall an app just drop the app icon to the bin on the top of the screen and the app is gone..
The second option is of course using your preferred launcher.
There is a bug in the Launcher when you first flash MIUI. It causes lag in scrolling between screens. There is an easy fix.
Go to Launcher Settings (Menu > launcher Settings) Turn High Quality Graphics ON, go back to your home screen. Now go back to the Launcher settings and turn the High Quality toggle OFF and go back. Now try and scroll between screens - you will see the difference. Might sound silly, but it works - trust me.
Notifications / Quick settings
You like the new Sense quick settings tab in the notification bar? Guess where that came from? Still MIUIs' settings page is more usable. Not to mention you can fully customise it to your needs. You can adjust brightness level and all your usual stuff like WiFi, data, GPS, BT and so on, without going to the settings. Pressing and holding on a toggle icon will send you to the settings page of that toggle. For examle to get to the WiFi settings you need to open the notification/toggles bar, press and hold the WiFi icon.
If you've plugged in a cable a pop up will appear, asking wether you'd like to charge or use USB. While the cable is plugged in a toggle in the notification bar will appear (Mount USB ON/OFF).
MI Button
For the phones with a dedicated camera button, like the MI-ONE, Milestone and DesireZ/G2 there is an extra option found here:
Settings > System > Button Settings > MI Button
This feature allows you to program the button to do pretty much anything including setting toggles (WIFI, BT, Screen Rotation and all the rest). Launch any installed App, or set it to take screenshots, which is mighty convenient.
Settings
MIUI Settings also differ from your standard list of settings found in AOSP or Sense and other UI overlays.
There are 3 tabs to sort all the settings options, because there are just so many.
Built in applications, that are head and shoulders above any third party app on the market.
Screenshot
The built in screen capture feature is a lifesaver, if you need it. You don’t have to run a program prior to taking a screenshot, nor you have to shout into your microphone, nor you have to shake your phone in convulsion trying to capture the exact moment you need. Screen capture works as follows: press VolDn+Menu.
File manager
File manager in MIUI is the best out there. There are three tabs, depending on what you need. There is your standard full featured file browser, FTP server, for accessing your SD card from a remote computer and a “Browse” tab. The Browse feature is very handy, it sorts all your files into categories: Docs, APKs, Themes, Music, Videos, Pics, Zips, Favorites and Misc granting quick access to the files you need, no matter where the files are located on SD. There is also a very nice breakdown of your used space, to easily identify how much of your space is occupied by music, pics, etc..
Backup
MIUI features a full featured backup utility. You can backup all your System (Contacts, call logs, messages, wifi settings, layouts etc..) and Apps (+Data). Works very well.
Music Player
This, probably, is the feature that held me on MIUI the most when deciding weather to switch to another ROM. Other than it’s beautiful, fast, downloads album art and lyrics dynamically, it reads your music by Folder, which is how my music is sorted on SD. It baffles me how other players miss this simple feature. Another great feature is excluding files that are less than set size. It’s great for ignoring all kinds of ringtones and notifications from your library.
Gallery
Gallery in MIUI is allringht, I personally like it better than any third party/AOSP/3D Gallery, but less than the Sense gallery. Some nice features include Hide folders (album art for example), Favorite folders.
Contacts / Dialer
Contacts are pretty much standard to Android, with a few exceptions, like being able to quickly block a person from contacting you. The Dialer on the other hand is completely redesigned. It features T9 dialer (dial by name, like Sense dialer), a lot of built in features, like two way call recording, very detailed call log. For example it shows you how long the missed caller called you for. It identifies the country of the number by the country code in the number etc..
DND
In DND settings you can create Blacklists/Whitelists of users who can contact you. Other settings include Anti-Stranger mode (Muting first ring when an unknown number calls, Filter Spam Messages (filter SMS based on keywords)
Privacy Mode
Enabling Privacy Mode will hide all your SMS and call logs. The Launcher editing will also be disabled. It’s useful when lending your phone to someone for a short period of time.
Access control
Access control is something new to MIUI. It controls what apps a user can see/access, without a password
Long Press / App manager / Recent
Just like in any android distribution you press and hold your home key to bring up the recently run app list (grid). Just like anything in MIUI they went further and here’s what we get:
Pressing and holding the Home key brings up the grid with 12 recently launched apps. There is an indicator on each icon, which shows you weather the app is running or not.
There are two buttons on the button of the screen: App Killer, which if pressed will kill all apps, and show how much memory you’ve just freed up. And App Manager, which sends you to the App Manager menu. Pressing and holding an app icon will send you to the apps’ management screen, where you can force stop the app, move it to SD, clear data etc.
Also worth mentioning is the built in Back Button killer. While in any app press and hold the back button, it will force close the app and clear it from the memory.
Visual Style
MIUI is beautiful. Being a multimedia / interface designer I know what I’m talking about. It’s simple and functional. It gives you the eyecandy stuff without going over the top. Obviously some themes are not up to scratch, like with any modding community, but the professionals make it look beautiful, and it’s all free.
Theme Engine
If you get bored with how your Android looks, dont't worry. The theme engine in MIUI is amazing. Not only you get lots of themes to choose from, but you can mix and match, taking the lockscreen from one theme, icons from another and fonts from yet another theme. There is a theme gallery online, so you can browse and download what you like. All nicely built in into the ROM and applying takes seconds. Here are the things you can customize:
Boot Animation (the one you’ve been flashing through recovery)
Boot Audio (any sound you like. Default is silent)
Custom Lockscreen (the way your lockscreen looks and functions)
Lockscreen wallpaper (self explanatory)
Icon (Icon Pack)
Status Bar (the way your notification/toggle bar looks)
Launcher (the way your launcher looks, including the status bar and dock)
Wallpaper
Font (choose a font for your android)
Text Style (how the SMS/MMS app will look)
Dialer Style (how the dialer app will look)
Ringtone
Notification
Alarm

Frequent updates
MIUI is updated on a weekly basis (dev branch) and mountly (stable). It's worth saying that dev branch is stable and errrors are extremly rare. Definately a DD. Updates come every Friday at 10am GMT with a full changelog. So you know there is a professional cordinated team behind this.
This is by no means all the things you get with MIUI, If you know more hidden features, or think that there are more features worth mentioning, please post them and i will update the post.
With enough information and user support I’m willing to begin a MIUI WIKI. And with the M1 phone on the horizon, there might be a lot of interest.

Nice Overview:
MIUI 1.7.15 on HTC Desire HD
Quick List from Hoppermi
HOME SCREENS
(1) There is no App Drawer. Your apps are on your home screens(seemingly random) to the right of the clock screen. When you download a new app the shortcut will be found furthest to the right
(2) Launcher Dock can be populated up to six shortcuts by drag and drop. No custom shortcuts will drop here, but folders will! (hello app drawer)
(3) Edit Mode(long press on screen, or select from MENU). This will allow you to customize your home pages.
While in edit mode pressing the MENU button will bring up the add button for custom shortcuts, widgets, folders, and wallpapers.
Widget dropdown and wallpaper options are also accessible via buttons in the upper right and left hand corners of the screen.
(4) Folders are drag and drop(easiest in edit mode) Rename by selecting folder then press pen and paper button in top left. You can also sort your apps by dl order, alphabetically, or frequent use.
(5) Widgets- one of the coolest things about this launcher is the ability to add all of your widgets in one session. Simply drag widget from dropdown menu to desired thumbnail screen, you may have to adjust on screen placement later. Then grab the next one and repeat until you are done, AWESOME.
(6) Adding and removing home screens. You can view your homescreens in thumbnail fashion by tapping twice on the home button or pinching on the screen.
Once here you may add, move(drag and drop),remove(if it is empty)screens. I haven’t heard if there is a limit, but I think I read that someone had 20 or so.
The last screen you were at before entering this mode will be highlighted.
The defaut home screen will have just the home button highlighted. Just tap the little home button on the thumbnail to switch the default.
(7) Deleting Apps. Since there is no app drawer, when you drag a shortcut to the trash can it is going to ask if you would like to uninstall.
You may not uninstall system apps in this manner.
OTHER SETTINGS AND FEATURES
(8) Contacts – You may select custom ringtones for each contact if desired.
Swiping across a contact in the list will give an option to Delete.
In order to use the Favorite Contact widget that is included you need to add favorite contacts by pressing add to favorites button when you open the contact.
(9) Notification Bar - If you hadn’t noticed there is a scrollable toolbar at the bottom of the notification pulldown. It contains all of the power control widget functions plus a few more.
(10) Battery- Settings/Battery/ Battery indicator style gives 3 options for your battery status Graphically,Percentage, Top-Bar. Select your preference.
Power Saving Mode w/ many options for saving battery. When PSM is set to auto, and your battery gets below the selected threshhold, selected functions will not be available.
There is also an option to disable auto PSM.
Low battery alarm is percentage adjustable.
(11) Lock screen - You may change the wallpaper for the lockscreen in the same menu as normal wallpaper, select lockscreen wallpaper gallery to pick image from your SD card.
There are notification counters for Phone calls and Text messages. long pressing on the phone or texting icons will preview the missed calls or texts.
Unlocking with these icons will open directly to those apps.
For now the text notifications are tied to the MIUI MMS app. You must open the messages with that app to clear the notifications. The icon can be directed to handcent or other messaging app but notifications still come from MIUI MMS.(Edit:At least one user is reporting using ChompMMS and has lockscreen notifications working)
New locksreen music controls! Double tap lock icon, or play something and return to lock sreen.
(12) Task Killer - MIUI has a built in task killer. Long pressing on the home button brings up recent apps like normal, but has a button for task killing in the lower left, and a shortcut to App Manager on the lower right.
(13) Return to call button - You can leave the call screen to do other tasks, including browsing the web (WiFi only), during a call.
When you leave the call screen a button appears across the top of your screen that will return to the call screen so you can hang up.
(14) *228 Phone activation, reprogramming can be reached by dialing *228+.
(15) Settings Menu MIUI completely redid the settings menu, giving you four tabs at the bottom. Each tab has its own menu of settings, browse around to familiarize yourself with where your most used settings are located. You can now access settings for Gmail, MMS, GTalk, Calendar, and Browser, right from the main settings Menu. Just select Programs tab. (Why didn't I think of this.....oh yeah, I'm a building contractor)
(16) Themes MIUI changes the game once again with the addition of built-in themeing. In the settings menu press Personal tab/ Theme Manager or click on the Theme Manager Icon from the launcher. There are a couple preloaded. To add theme, dl, and move to MIUI/Themes on your SD card.
MIUI Theming allows for you to mix and match theme catagories. You select a System Style which will be the base for your personal theme. From there you can add features of other themes you have in your themes folder including, icons, fonts, text style, boot animation and boot audio.
(17) Screenshots Hold down on the menu button and press volume down to take a screenshot. Pics are in the MIUI folder on your SD card.
(18) MIUI Backup MIUI comes with its own backup utility. This allows you to backup and restore both apps and settings, including Launcher layout. Its a very simple backup utility. This only works for MIUI roms.
(19) Do Not Disturb mode MIUI now has support for blacklist/whitelist communication filtering. Settings/personal/DNDmode
(20) MMS Font color/ Background editor In MMS settings select themes and you will be presented with a menu that will allow you to change font color and backgrounds for your Conversation and In-Message screens. You may also select from several general MMS Themes.
(21) Personal Password Protection You can password protect Folders, dialer, SMS/MMS, and DNDMode.
Settings/Personal/ Security and Privacy Settings
(22) Visitor Mode Hides your call log and MMS msgs if you are letting someone use your phone or just showing it off. Long press power button, select Visitor Mode.
(23) MMS Favorites Tab Long pressing on a text message pops up a menu where you can forward, add to favorites, copy, get details, or delete. Selecting Favorites will add message to your Favorites Tab.
(24)MIUI Global Search App MIUI has added thier own search app. There is a widget. You can also access it by long pressing home to bring up recent apps and app killer then swipe right, notice the page dots at the top. Odd placement if you ask me, but there it is.
(25) Launcher Settings There are Launcher settings in the personal settings tab.
Keep in memory should always be on, and will prevent redraws.
Hi-res Graphics can be disabled and smooths out the launcher considerably, without any noticeable difference in appearance.
New Transitions settings in Launcher Settings=Sweet
(26) File Explorer has some nice features including a wireless sync for your PC. No need to plug in to access your SD. Just type the ftp address in the address bar of My Computer and you are in!
MMS/SMS Incorrect Timestamp Correction In MMS Settings/Advanced, Turn off Sort SMS by date (toggle left)

Thanks for the great info!
One question. Is there any way to use the lockscreen music controls for spotify instead? It worked on CM7 and I miss that a lot right now.
EDIT: nevermind got it to work this way:
setting ---> button settings ---> media button "take precedence to respond... spotify"

one thing u should mention is how u can put a custom fullscreen caller id photo for contacts.
Thats a sweet guide buddy, but I dont quite agree with the fact of a AppDrawer as it kills the purpose of the MIUI interface (which is suppose to replicate the iOS experience).
If you know any of the MIUI chinese dev's please forward a crucial suggestion:
1). Include an option to Auto Arrange Launcher icons based on Alphabetical order, Most used & Automatically re-position the remaining icons starting from the top left of the screen when icons are moved or deleted from a particular page. (like iOS)
2). Clear individual notification - as seen on CM7 ROMs
3). Full Screen Caller ID option
4). Close folder after the app has been opened.
I personally think miui is more a mash up of aosp, sense and ios taking good parts of all

As stated above I don't know any developers, your best bet is to contact Mark from http://www.miuiandroid.com/ with your requests.
I don't agree that MIUI interface is supposed to replicate iOS, and putting a folder into your drawer is just a personal preference leave all your icons on the desktop if you wish
Thank you
thank you for explaining miui. made my life simple

Question...
Is there any way to make the home screens loop... A 360 degree effect... I hope I'm clear enough...

You should update your post with the new MI-Button feature for supported devices which are the MI-ONE, Milestone and DesireZ/G2 phones.
It can be found by going to Settings > System > Button Settings > MI Button
This feature allows you to program the button to do pretty much anything you want it to. Here are some screen shots:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
On the Desire Z/G2, the camera button on the side becomes your MI Button. Quick pressing the button opens the option that you have programmed it to do, while long pressing the button (Again, on the G2) opens the camera.

Absolutely priceless.

If I were to use LauncherPro, is it possible to either keep the Miui style launcher or recreate it with LP..?
Note: I am trying to set up Miui for a friend... I only have a very basic version on a dual-boot to show people... Thanx for all your help.

been using miui rom ver. 1.6.17 for a month now. I might say this is a very good rom, but still have some bug. e.g. on the video recording there is a lag when you playback the recorded video and in some cases the phone reboot when you're playing games and someone call's you.. so far that's what I observe/experience in this rom..
but overall still loving this rom.

(Seeing as there's no General Thread for tablets, I've re posted this here.)
Hey guys I finally ported my "hubs" set up to Android Tablets and I have to say its 10x smoother on our 1.0 ghz dual core device. The general idea of "Hubs" is to create a dedicated screen for each piece of media/productivity while providing a visual eye candy. "Hubs" is easy to emulate, and even easier to create your own style. Despite the lengthy tutorial, its actually easier than it seems. The fun part comes with setting up you layout!
What you'll need:
Main
Adw Launcer EX
Launcher Pro Plus
Multi Live Wallpaper
Minimalistic Text
Simple Text
Optional
Pulse (for widgets)
Cowon Clock/ BobClock Widget
Mizuu Movies
Launcher Pro Plus (Widgets)

FINAL
WALKTHROUGHADW Launcher Users[/U][/B]
-To remove top bar-Press and hold and empty area on your home screen then click on "Launcher Actions" > "Hide/Show Action Bars"
-Enable Widget Overlapping-"Menu"> "ADW Settings"> "UI Settings" > "Screen Preference"> Check "Overlap Widgets" in the Advanced Settings Tab
-Increase Retail Space on your screen-"Menu"> "ADW Settings"> "UI Settings" > "Screen Preference"> Increase the desktop "Rows" and "Columns" in the "Desktop Layout" Tab.
Launcher Pro Plus Users- while not optimized for 3.2, it still runs perfect.
-Increase Retail Space on your screen-"Menu"> "Preference" > "Homescreen Settings" > Increase the "Number of columns/rows" in the Homescreen Grid.
-Remove Icons From Right Dock- Hold your finger on the icon you wish to remove> "change shortcut"> "Blank"
*You may add screen transitions for each launcher if you wish, however my advise is to leave it at default as you can set transition for Multi Live wallpaper. Doing both launcher and MLW will make your screen look "too busy" IMO.
To set the "Bars" (Titles for "Home", "Music", "Movies" etc.)
Minimalistic Text
-To set title- Press and hold a free space on the screen > "widgets" > "Minimalistic Text" (size may vary per style however I use either 4x2 or 6x1 as long as its horizontal > ensure that "background color" is checked > "Predefined Layout" > "Custom" > "Custom Layout" > Click on the plus sign > "Misc" > "Static Text".
-Black Bar Tutorial click here
Wallpapers
-Set up - Load up your wallpapers on your sd card/internal memory and placing them into seperate folders and name them based on the images (ex. Music, Movies, Games etc)
- Long press an empty screen on your homescreen > "Wallpapers" > "Live Wallpapers"> "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper"> "Settings"
- For each "Screen _ Settings" Select the picture source as "Picture Folder" and navigate it to point to your corresponding homescreen.
- Additionally you make select the screen transition here that reflects your particular taste. You may also set a default wallpaper for your lockscreen.
Despite the dozen of widget on the homescreen and live wallpaper, battery use is minimal.I have provided wallpapers below to help you get started.
NAVIGATING BETWEEN HUBS
There are two methods in which you can navigate to each individual homescreen.
Method one: Prior/Alternate way for navigation text was achieved using this methodby trekkie0927. Using invisible icons in tandem with minimalistic text can make it easier to flip to each hubs. Please rate/comment his video.
Method two: I found a great alternative to Minimalistic Text in terms of using the text buttons to jump from one screen to another called Simple Text. Since it's only an icon and not a widget, it consumes no memory and provides a great minimal look.
User AcIdC0R3 has posted a great tutorial. (Please thank him!)
Make sure you have ADWLauncher EX
Go to the market and install Simple Text
Long press on the screen and select 'Custom Shortcut'
'Pick your activity', select 'Launcher Actions'
Choose which screen you want, 1 - 5 or 1 - 7 if your using seven screens
Click on the picture of the 2 screens side by side
Select 'ADWTheme IconPacks' and select 'Simple Text'
Select the grey box named 'Simple'
replace the word 'Simple' with whatever of your choosing like 'Video' for your video hub or 'Social' for your social media hub and so forth
Adjust your text size, Y and X coordinates, your shadow settings etc.
Click the little blue 'A' in the top right side of the screen and select your font (more on fonts further down)
You also have the option to select the color wheel next to the 'A' and adjust your text color
Select the menu icon on the task bar at the bottom and select 'Save Style' if you want to keep what you created for later use as well.
Click 'Save Icon' which will create your icon for you
Back at the black edit screen remove the text from the text field and click OK
You should now have a custom text icon that will activate whichever screen you chose for it. You can click any app icon on your screen and follow the same procedure for your apps so all your apps also have text icons.
[FONTS] In a file manager go to /sdcard/Simple Text/ and create a folder named 'fonts' (that is plural with an 's' at the end). Next go to somewhere like dafont.com and download you some kewl fonts and place them within that 'fonts' directory you just created. Now when you go into Simple Text to do your editing you will have more fonts to choose from.
That's all there is to it.
You can also work with layers within the creation of your Simple Text. Notice below where I created a new layer, rotated my new text layer and intersected where both words have the letter 'E'.
However you may notice that simple text does have it's limitations:
Icons can only be 1x1
Works best on adw
No way to resize; it is only an icon after all.
Miscellaneous
ISSUE: You may experience widget being placed "behind" the black bars. If so try this method provided by user SwiftLegend
1. Put the widgets/icons you want on TOP of the blackbar FIRST. You need these before anything.
2. Select a Minimalistic Text Widget, I usually use 1x1. Clear out the text options (Predefined layout > Custom, delete all of the things there)
3. Once you're back at your homescreen and see the MT Widget, just long press and re size it to your liking.
You HAVE to make sure that whatever you want on TOP of the blackbar is put on the screen FIRST. Anything put on after will go underneath.
ISSUE 2: Users have reported that Minimalistic Widget refuses to post/ show up on the homescreen.
1. Turn your tablet into portrait mode.
2. Add the widget whilst staying in portrait mode as you apply you designs.
3. Rotate back to landscape.
ISSUE 3: You can no longer take full advantage of the screen real estate using adw ex (particularly the corners)
1. Recent update kills the use of every inch of the screen. In his attempt to emulate ICS, anderwebs made the edges of the screen inaccessible.
2. Revert back to an older version (1.3.3)
here's the original layout from the nook color if you guys are interested on putting this on your homescreen HERE
and here it is in action HEREhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8DxCVzARfE&fmt=38

I've been using static wallpapers due to performance issues when using live wallpapers in honeycomb, but this setup seems to be minimal and effective. Gonna test this out...

which clock are you using on your home screen?
Very inspiring. I'll admit that I also stuck to static wallpapers in fears of sluggish performance and battery drain, but this has converted me
Any chance you could PM me a link to the bookcase wallpaper? Looking at getting my son an eee pad for his 10th (!) birthday next month so may have to bookmark your thread for him
Very nice! Could you share your wallpapers? Especially the library one!

The clock is the Cowon BOB Clock - you'll find it in the Market or all over the place here on XDA
Very nice! If you don't mind paying, I think using the widget from UberMusic would look even better. But that's just me..
EDIT: Would you mind sharing the wallpapers in the video? They all look really nice and I can never find wallpapers like that. This is replacing my Dark Theme layout right away!
Thanks Dunc101, i found that and also using CalWidget 4x4 for the look. These two combined look similar to Google Chrome widgets on a desktop. This is great!

Not that I know of. I didn't even know the stock player lets you do that
EDIT: I'm sure you know that UberMusic also automatically downloads artist pictures, right? I was thinking of pointing Mutlipicture to folder, so you always have it updating and it corresponds to your actual music library.

Lovejoys hubs kindle fire

Lovejoys hubs kindlefire.
what is hubs.
hubs is a setup that allows you to navigate from screen to screen with the touch of your finger (without scrolling)
it works by having icons on every screen for every screen. ie press icon 1 on any screen and it takes you to screen 1.
with this you dedicate each screen (hub) into a subject. ie games, media, home etc because of this things ar very organised and easy to navigate to.
only 2-3 touches to get to any app (and no more searching).
Hi here is my setup on my kindle fire and a detailed guide how to get this look, this is my 1st guide so please go easy.
With this guide you will have 5 home screens and a 5x5 row/colum setup (because it keeps everything the same from landscape to portrait mode).

home screen and games pictures for games home page etc.
start by installing adw pro launcher and setting as default launcher and applying minimalistic theme (I will let you work that one out)
install multipicture live wallpapers, minimalistic text and simple text app's.
Now create 6 folders on your desktop rename them
games wpaper
media wpaper
home wpaper
tool's wpaper
work wpaper
lockscreen wpaper
now place pictures you have chosen in each folder ie. Games home screen pic's in games wpaper folder.
When all pictures are in the right folders, mount sdcard to pc and drag and drop each folder into /sdcard/pictures on your kindle. (when you now reboot and open up your album you should see 6 new folders with your screen pic's in them.
In adw make these settings.

That's adw set up now for wallpapers.
Hold down on home screen and get menu, select wallpapers/live wallpaper/multipicture live wallpapers
press settings
press green + add individual settings, until you have 5 screen settings
press screen1 settings
crop/resize ratio=fit to full screen
back out and do all 5 screen with you 5 folders you made earlier then do lock screen settings the same.
Back out and press set wallpaper
done
now setting up screen short cuts (the tedious but nice bit)
on each home page long press and select launcher action then screen 1 (whilst on homepage 1)
do this 4 times then move to home page 2 and do same process but selecting screen 2.
do this trough all 5 home screens so you should have 5 icons that will send you back to the screen you are on (keep it like this for now as it keeps things in order).
Now to change all those icons into what they are ie.
On home screen 1 change all 4 icons to a simple text image.
Long press an icon on screen 1, press edit, tap on the icon image, tap adwtheme iconpacks, tap simple text, then on icon style simple. You should be in settings of simple text app.
At the top tap the word simple and change it to games. untick gradient & shadow, text size=48.
Press the big a at the top and select default 07, tick anti alias and linear text.
Then press menu and select save style, then press menu again and select save icon change text to games and press ok.
Do this to all 4 icons on home screen 1 (now you have a template though so when you get to icon style select your previous made template instead of simple icon again).
Then do this to all other home screens but edit the name to media for the icons on screen 2, home for the icons on screen 3 tool's for the icons on screen 4 and work for screen 5.
then make 1 new launcher action per page and make this one open/close app draw alter the icon like above but on each home screen name it by its home screen ie on screen1 (games) name it games with the text in blue (this is so on each home page it all looks the same except the blue name will act as an app draw launcher).
Now move one of each icon to each screen so it looks like mine.
You can now go and play with it and alter things to your liking
I hope I have covered everything.
Cheers steve
edit: you will need to tick force 5 homescreens in "workarounds for some applications" in wallpaper settings (this will align all wallpapers to the home screens.
please tick the thank you box if you like this.
Thanks for taking the time to make this!
Absolutely amazing Steve bravo! You helped me out so much and I'm glad you decided to make the thread after we talked. Thanks!

no probs its a nice way to use the kindle.
you can tweak it anyway you want, I just thought if I made the tutorial to mimic mine then it was easier for me to explain etc.
glad you like it, it works great on any rom and i allways do full backup in twrp 2.1.1 then wipe everything flash new rom/gapps etc boot once then return to twrp and restore previous roms data (only) and all my settings and wallpaper etc is still there
only need to do all this once (thank god) lol.

Yup i know, used your wallpapers instead of the ones i had chosen and they work great in landscape but when i go to portrait they are not lined up. you experiencing this as well? im gonna look for more images to use since now i know what resolution to look for

when you say not lined up , i take it you mean the images in the pictures move from land to port mode?
i just keep my shortcuts at the bottom and most of my icons at the top are folders, so with 1x row at the top and 1x row at the bottom there's alot of space left in the middle for Widgets, (or leave it blank like i do so that you can see all of the wallpapers.
some pic's work better than others, one of my media images is perfect as it has black top and bottom and works good both in land & port.
it took me as long finding images to use on the different screens as it did to setup hubs. lol.
the thing is after 4 months of having hubs on my kindle i've only just got it how i want it.
also i think you need wallpaper scrolling set in rom settings for the multipicture to work.
also it all works best with all screen settings both rom & adw set so the screen transaction is at it fastest. then when you press one of you home screen shortcuts it zooms out & back in again as fast as poss.

Well I guess what I'm trying to say is that when I go portrait the left most screen is white, then when I got to screen 2 it has my left most wallpaper there. Here's some pics. The last screen shot should hopefully explain what I mean. The abstract wallpaper is supposed to be screen 2 and its in-between screen 2 and 3.

I have ADW but I'm using Apex at the moment.
I have 5 screens set up but when I'm scrolling in portrait it doesn't show the wallpapers that have a landscape design (like the geek wallpaper). When I'm in landscape it does.
Any idea how to keep that from happening in portrait?
it should work.
although never tried with apex as it doesn't have home screen shortcuts.
have you got the following.
forced 5 screen, multipicture settings.
scrolling wallpaper in rom and adw.
edit: don't forget when you select picture folder path for wallpapers yo need to select, fit to screen.

I need to check and see if it has something to do with the rows/columns. I think I have 8 and 8 set up so maybe changing to 5 and 5 will fix it.
Think I have the settings you list above set up although I'm just using one wallpaper for each screen, not a folder.
glad your nearly there
do yo realize that the nice bit of all this is the adw screen shortcuts, as it allows you to change screens by pressing an icon. ie on my setup i press games icon on any screen and it goes straight to the 1st home screen (where all my games are) or media icon on any screen takes me straight to my media home page (no 2) and so on.
it means any apps are only two taps away (unless you have folders in which case its three taps). in other words you can but don't have to scroll through your screens, just tap an icon.

Yeah, I played around w/ hubs before flashing an ICS ROM using ADW Pro. Just playing with Apex right now to see if I want to go with hubs again.

How to place pictures in folders, I can plase shortcuts only?
make the folders on pc then drag and drop images into these folders. but make sure you download the full image in the first place and not just the thumbnail. these folders need to be put in pictures on sdcard (do not put all folders in one main folder or it doesn't find the path properly

looks very great. :good:
Very nice app first of all I will give you my personal input from a consumers view. Overall it's a really nice app with a few features the other sidebars lack as in custom icon packs ability along with the ability to rearrange, those are awesome abilities! Where it's lacking is the ability to see running apps indicater and the ability to close them by swiping them away as the others offer, once this feature is added I believe this puts this sidebar in the front runners position. A main feature they all lack because of 4.3 I might add is the ability to hide the app notification from the notification panel. I understand that it needs to be there so the launcher doesn't close the app but there has to be a way to hide that without closing the app. I remove it in settings/app by unchecking the box but eventually the launcher will close the app by default. Once that's accomplished by whichever sidebar that does it will lead the pack hands down! I have purchased two already and I'm going to go purchase yours now, I tried the free version but goodluck to you and this great app!

Hello, thank you for your support!
The paid version has an "action" called "Running apps". You can add it by: (+) button -> Actions -> Running Apps
It lists all currently running apps and lets you kill unwanted ones by swiping them away.
I decided to implement it this way, because in my opinion it's less cluttered and it's usually faster to kill an app. If for example you put the "Running apps" on top of the sidebar, you can reach all running apps with a single tap. Otherwise, if you have added a lot of apps, you would have to scroll down and look for the active ones.
About the notification icon - unfortunately it is a matter of how Android is designed.
As you probably know already, prior to Android 4.3 apps were allowed to show fake (invisible) notification to prevent being killed, but Google changed that in 4.3, because they believe it's best for the user to be notified when something is running continuously in the background...
It's not possible to guarantee that Android will not kill the app when there is no notification and the app is currently not shown on the screen, because in that situation the app is considered to be running in background mode and Android decides that it is not critical if the app is killed.
After killing it Android (may) eventually automatically start the app again when there is more RAM available, but from my experience it takes more than 10 minutes for Android to restart the app, which is unacceptable for the user.
The developer can request from the operating system to try to (re-)launch the app let's say once every 60 seconds or even less, but this can significantly increase battery usage :/
In Ray I used the least intrusive approach that is currently possible - using low priority notification that does not show up in the statusbar. I may also add an option to completely disable the notification for Android 4.3+ devices, but of course if disabled, Android can decide to kill the app at any time.
I have added a direct download link in the first post for those of you who don't have the Gogle Play Store on their devices.
For those who tried the app - please share your thoughts on ways of improvement and possible problems
Thank you!
That´s my old friend ra3al... absolutely wonderful!!!! :good:
Best Xda developer for sure!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi ra3al,
First thanks for this wonderfull sidebar launcher!
I am testing it and found very usefull, but I think that you should add also the possibility to have a dock bar (by default available) and this will be the future laucher: most used apps on dock like phone, sms and app drawer, and favourite apps and shorcuts in sidebar.
Without that option everyone will keep his launcher...
What do you think?
Some Requests....
I just purchased the Pro version of your sidebar launcher to test it out, because I love the quick access launchers of this type. Just a couple of things that I would like to see added...... First is the "Width" of the Sidebar feature only lets me reduce it to a certain width and stops, but when you open the sidebar the icons are almost half that width in size. I would like to shrink/reduce the sidebar width down very thin, to just about the width of the smallest icons that show. If you put the width slider all the way down to the smallest point, it should then go just a little bit further.
Also, I mainly decided to try your sidebar because of the "Folder" option. Most sidebars don't allow the setup of folders, I really like this option, but I was disappointed when I found that I could NOT set a Custom Icon for the Folder itself. The sidebar allows using Icon Sets, but I can't select a custom icon for the Folder. Please add this Feature to allow us to choose our Folder icons. it would really complete this app.
The last thing I noticed was a problem....the instructions mentioned something about long pressing an icon then swiping out of the sidebar to Delete the icon. This does NOT work for me at all. I have not found any way whatsoever, to Delete an app icon that I already placed in the bar.
or am I missing something.........
I'll post again after using this for a little while.
Great Work Awesome
Thanks to dev for amazing app - that's what I miss on my device!
But I have a prob when type somewhere with software keyboard (I've just decide that must re-calibrate screen but suddenly realize what's happens).
Far left side of keyboard like letters A, Q and number 1 are NOT USABLE because they are under the sidebar ?
It's checked and approved if I close Sidebar keyboard works as expected.
Please @ra3al solve this little but frustrating bug.

Thank you for support! and I'm glad you like the app
Yes, this is a known problem and there is a (partial) solution. I guess I should mentioned it in the initial tutorial.
OK, you need to go to the settings of the app (either by long-pressing the (+) button in the sidebar, or tapping the Ray / Ray Pro icon in your normal launcher.
Then go to: Swipe area settings -> Width and height and reduce the height, so that the swipe area does not overlap your soft keyboard. (Or you can also reduce the width - make the swipe area still full height, but thinner, so that it does not cover the leftmost buttons in the keyboard, but keep in mind that if you make it too thin, it may stop recognizing your swipes).
If you are using both Ray and Ray Pro - you have to do these changes for both apps :/
While you are in the Swipe area settings the swipe area will be painted in magenta color, in order to let the user visualize where on the screen it actually is and how big it is, in all other situations the swipe area is completely transparent.
The swipe area is always positioned on top of all other programs (besides the lock screen app). Unfortunately it's not possible to position it below the soft keyboard, and that is the reason, you need to resize the swipe area.
The swipe area is necessary for detecting your swipes from the edge of the screen, and as you already realized, the app that is bellow it cannot receive touch events in that specific region.
BTW in Ray Pro, if you set Swipe area settings -> Horizontal alignment to Right the sidebar will be positioned on the right edge of the screen and is activated by swiping from the right edge. And if you want, you can have Ray on the left side and Ray Pro on the right side running simultaneously.
Sorry for the long post

Thanks for your support and feedback!
About the option to use custom folder icons - I am almost done with implementing this feature - it will be available in the next version together with a couple of bug fixes - I will release it today or tomorrow.
For sidebar width - I am also going to improve it in the next version - please let me know if it's OK, after the you try the updated version.
For deleting items - when trying to swipe away the item you want to delete, are you putting your finger on the grabber handle button? If so, that's the reason it does not work for you (the grabber handle can only be used for moving an item up or down in the list). You have to put your finger on the app/shortcut/etc. icon.
Maybe I should make a short video that shows how to delete items and somehow improve the tutorial.

I mean have the possibility to have a bottombar that could:
- by default: be visible (fixed on bottom like other launchers) without the needs of swiping from the bottom
- have the possibility to not be visible and needs swiping from the bottom to appears
- have the possibility to not be available
If you implement the bottombar, you should also add an option to slidbar not be available also!
Thanks

I might add this feature or something similar in a future version I also want to add an option to have widgets in another sidebar (in the Pro version) in the future.
Meanwhile, I have released an update for both Ray and Ray Pro
This is the change log:
1.1.0 (18.Oct.2013):
- Added: option to automatically close the sidebar after a specified time of inactivity
- Added: user selectable folder icon backgrounds (circle, rounded rectangle, rectangle and custom)
- Fixed: unable to change sidebar background color while in landscape mode
- Fixed: flashlight not working on Nexus 10 and other devices
- Fixed: Android 4.3+ only: Tapping on notification not opening app settings
- Changed: icon margins now depend on the selected sidebar width
- Changed: smaller minimum for sidebar width
More User Input...
It is very much appreciated that you made some of the updates & changes that myself & others have requested. That's a very good way to get & keep loyal users & have them spread good news about your app. I really like the new features & options in this last update. After using it a little while with the updates I only saw 2 more little things that I feel need to be added/changed..... Now that the sidebar width is modified & we can reduce it pretty small, we really need the ability to change/customize the Icon size. Every person has a different view of how big/small their own icons should be and how big/small the sidebar should be. Since the sidebar width is now easily customized, please give us the ability to customize our Icon Sizes also. I personally want a small sidebar width but enlarge the icons enough to where they aren't "tiny", as I don't use icon labels either.
The 2nd thing is Custom Icons for all shortcuts/apps, since we can choose a custom Icon Pack for the entire sidebar, a lot of apps aren't included in the Icon Packs. So we end up with half custom icons and half regular app icons. But if it was like our Launchers where we can choose an icon pack but then select individual apps & choose Custom icons, we can make our entire sidebar match.
Please consider these 2 features also in an upcoming update.
Thanx again for the great app!

I already have plans about adding both of these features, but I am not completely sure about the first one, but I will probably add it. thanks
I appreciate a dev paying attention to the users requests & suggestions, a lot of the time its the people actually using the app that have the best suggestions for improving an app. But a lot of devs seem to ignore them...thanx for actually paying attention to your users & very much appreciate any of the suggested options that you can make.

Wow, new app from ra3al, nice work. One request in action button. Can you add switch screen off button? I'd love to turn my screen off from the side drawer.
