Hi Guys

Armband holster?

Does anyone know of an armband that the Skyrocket will fit into? I've been looking locally to see if I can find one with little success.

Just so anyone looking knows, the Belkin Dual Fit armband for the Samsung Galaxy S2 (bought it at Target) does fit, though the headphone hole is on the wrong side.
It's a tight fit, but it does work.
Altarocks, have you had a chance to try this holster? If so how would you rate it, pros/cons?
I've had one for about a month. Very happy with it. Mainly use it for running. The strap is comfortable and has multiple strips of velcro. It's plenty long for any arm. Snug fit, but easy to get your SR in (without a case). Touch screen works well even with my Ghost Armor. The GA does tend to stick a little when you remove the phone, so you need to separate it with your finger first so the GA doesn't touch the window before you can remove it.
Kinda hard to see your screen, but that's due to the size of the SR, not the band.
One note: don't expect this to protect from water - there are openings top and bottom. It does seem to protect from sweat though.

thanks Altarocks and thanks OP. Was needing these for the wife and I.
fits in there nice and snug. it's got access holes on top and bottom for headphone plug (depending on how you orient your phone and where you like the plug to come out. Screen and home buttons all work great. This is the arkon from Amazon. Thanks again!!
I checked out the Akron on Amazon. Does anyone have a case that fits the screen well? Being able to run and have good screen contact is a priority!

i got my otterbox case the defender

im very impressed on its fit, function all work and plugs that keep out dirt till needed.

Do you feel like the phone / case fits in the belt holster a bit loosely? It doesn't seem as secure as the one I had for my GS3?
Curious what others think?

well i cant compare as this fits good for me
I also just got the defender and it does fit the phone very nice. But I don't like how it fits in the holster, it feels secure but almost imposable to get it snapped in on the first try or without having to look to get it aligned. Once in the holster it's also difficulty to remove as the release point is on the top, if you have it rotated on your belt.
I'm currently using the Platinum case with holster from Best Buy which is the same as the Seidio surface combo. No where the protection as the Otterbox but very easy to snap in and out the holster.
I'll keep looking for a little ore protection with an easy belt clip function.

I had a question with the defender case. When you guys first got the case did u notice there were bubbles between the screen and the screen protector? Do they eventually disappear? Attached is a picture of it. (Sorry for bad lighting)

belkin book case modified

Hi
When I bought my note 8 here in Australia the only case available other than the samsung was the belkin folio type case. I didn't like the samsung as i use my tablet in landscape mode on my desk at work and the samsung landscape is too unstable for my finger pokes.
I like the folio type case even though it adds a little bulk, it is soft leather bulk, and in landscape the volume controls are on top where they belong.
But the belkin does not have magnets so no turn on off with case, this for me is a must have feature.
So..... I took one of my old ipad smart covers and cut out a small square that contains two of the square magnet sections near the edge ( there seems to be a couple of different shape magnets in ipad cases.)
I then used this to hunt down the magnet sensor in the note 8.(see pic), I then marked this on the folio case and then went to work with a scalpel, cutting a square in cover and digging out the main bulk that is a cardboard liner between the outer leather and the inner screen protector. Then gluing it all back together with the magnets replacing the cardboard.
It seems to work perfectly.
I am hoping that these magnets are just the right strength but have no way of knowing scientifically of course. They don't appear too strong because if i move them away from the proper location they stop working pretty quickly.
Be aware that there are a number of threads that say magnets and pen digitizers dont mix well but you can make your own call on that.
yes it could have been neater but hey it works!

CHEAP $3 Belt Clip/Holster for Google/Replica Bumper

I took a slight gamble buying this belt clip for the S3, but it fit perfectly with the bumper from Google (or Chinese replica), and its only $3.20 (shipped from the U.S.). The clip is great for the price with a soft felt inside and rugged outside with a 360 degree belt clip. The N4 slides in perfectly. and doesn't move. Here's the link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B008H34ZQW/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all
Be sure to click buying options and add the third one down for $3.20 from LowerPriceUSA that ships from CA.

Sounds great! Too bad I already have the Seidio Active and Surface holsters...the Seidio Active Holster for the N4 fits our phone with bumper. And the Surface for the N4 fits the N4 that has most tpu cases.
You have any pics of it installed? And how is the holster when trying to reach for it when a call or text comes in?
Will post some pics up tomorrow, but you need to slide the phone out for a phone call or text as it doesn't clip in. It can be worn horizontal or vertical.

I'll give it a shot for that price. Hopefully it will work with my Ionic case.

[Q] S6 flip case

Apologies for another case thread, but has anyone found a decent slimline 360 flip case yet where the front cover bends round to the flush with the back (which is useful for car holders)?
I see there are some official covers, including the fully transparent one, but its not clear whether the front bends back. Spigen (see mobile fun) appear to have one that does bend back but I believe there is lip on the side where the lock is and it looks a bit chunky.
I would prefer a vertical flip like my current s3 Melkco (which seems to have a s6 case but this doesnt seem to be selling in the UK yet) but the only one I can find looks to be a cheap one on amazon (aLLreli).
TIA!
