A lot has happened over the weekend that made me realize that it could be time to program an app store for wp7 users. Yes the amount of homebrew apps are small, but it is growing fast. Is it possible for someone to make a cydia esque homebrew store for wp7
you mean for non-marketplace apps or just a new search marketplace tool? cause theres already another app for searching the marketplace
non marketplace apps specifically designed for homebrew like cydia app store is for many jailbroken iphones...

Hi
Does any one know an app that you can deploy apps with?
i mean some sort of app that "connected" to several mobile phone and you can deploy your app (app) by remote?
something like the market from the web but with apps that haven't been approved yet (that's why i want to test with many phones)
Thanks!

Anyone? :\
I've been using Blackberries for 15 years and an now in the process of converting to the Samsung Galaxy S3 within the next week or two.
I'm a long time user of the iPad which has been jailbroken and can load all of the hacked apps to it.
My question is that when I root the Android, are there sites out there where I can get the "hacked" apps, or an app like
Installous (on the ipad) that downloads the apps?
Android is completely new to me and am VERY willing to learn...... (something new to play with)..........
Thanks. And I appologize for the ignorance.

Rooting the phone only allows apps to use root access. You can get apps that use root access though the Market/Play Store, (App Store) rather than a different app (Cydia). As for Installous, I think that you mean downloading cracked apps (paid apps for free)? If so i think you can't discuss that here. One of the cool things about Android is that you can install different app stores/app downloaders.
If I know discussions about cracked software are not allowed on this forum
anyway my advice is : if you like an app pay for that app it's only a few bucks
and you give developers support to improve that app !
Warez discussion isnt allowed on XDA
I tried searching for this but it seems all the posts I find are from 2012 or 2011.
There us 1 app that I need for work that I can only find in Itunes App Store. Is it possible to run an iOS app on either Android or Windows? As far as software I prefer android, but I have become used to the iPhone because of work. How ever I am disappointed with the screen sizes with the Apple devices. Is there an emulator out there that would work?
Thanks in advance
David
No.
Try looking for alternative apps or contacting the app's developer if you want.
Hi,
We have a very special idea about a new Play Store alterego. We would display Android apps in a dedicated app just like AppAware, 1Mobile Market, AppSales, Appsfire, but in a special way. However, we don't know if we can display the apps without the developers' permission.
Do these apps scrape Play Store for data and display the apps without the permission of the developers or do they ask developers if they can use their apps? Considering these apps provide users with thousands of apps, I don't think they mail all developers.
What do you think? Can this be done? Is there a risk that a developer sues these apps for using his app without his exact permission? These apps have 500,000-1,000,000 downloads which mean they are very popular.
Note: we won't offer direct download of apps. When users click on apps they will be directed to the Play Store.
Thanks,
I've seen far too many fakes when I tried to google search for the answer, so I thought I would try my luck here.
I am using a Galaxy S6 phone, which I am happy with, however, there are a couple apps specific to IOS that I am wanting to run.
Does anyone on here know of an IOS emulator or an app wrapper that can allow Android to run an IOS app?
There Is No App To Do That Because There are a Hardware Limitation. But maybe Its Come True In Future.
