Hi
I just bought cellphone with android 1.6 ( Nexian Journey A890 )
until now i can't receive file that sent from another cellphone ( i tried from Nokia, samsung )
i had downloaded Bluetooth File transfer, and when i turned it on, it said something like "i only can received cellphone that use bluetooth explorer, but i can't received from another cellphone because i don't have root access"
i had tried use Z4Root and it just the same. What should i do ?

Hey guys,
This friend of mine has a problem. He just acquired an XDAIIs with the following specs:
ROM: 1.31.00 WWE
Rom date: 12/13/04
Radio version: 1.02.00
Protocol version: 1337.32
ExtRom version: 1.31.920 WWE
Even after a hard reset with no other programs installed, he can NOT send a file via bluetooth. He can send business cards and can pair with other devices and send a file via ir but not via bluetooth. has anyone out there encountered this problem and found a way to fix it?
Thanks and best regards...
Winston
I too am unable to send files via bluetooth but I am able to receive files via bluetooth. I've posted this problem before and some said they were because of the version of the bluetooth software.

I cannot send files via bluetooth.
I go to file explorer and select a file, but it will only allow me to email it or beam it.
If i go into Bluetooth manager there is no way I can send files via bluetooth.....
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions...I may well give that resco a go as well

Hi all,
I've been having problem receiving file via BT recently.
It used to work fine, but recently when I tried to send contacts or other files via bluetooth, I cannot receive them. The phone that tries to sends the file just says failed.
I already have BT enabled, in Discovery mode, and Beam turned on to receive files.
The phone I'm trying to send the file from is also paired up with my phone.
Any idea?
In order to receive files you need to install an application.
I use this one: http://www.mobile-stream.com/airshare.html
What rom do you have? WM6.1? If you do, search for btfix.cab
Thanks I'll give btfix.cab a try.
The thing is, it used to work ... and then it just stopped work. Well, let's give btfix a try.
the bluetooth_fix file
Can someone upload the file ? I can not find it.
Thanks.
Hi everyone,
I just bought a Motorola Milestone in Brazil and rooted it to use some apps like AdFree.
I got a problem and I dunno if it has anything to do with rooting or not.
I downloaded some APK files and installed it using the appInstaller, but they can't access the WiFi!
Whenever they try to use the WiFi it says that it's unavailable, even if the WiFi is on and connected to a network BEFORE the program was open.
Can anyone tell me what's the matter with them?
Btw, my cellphone is running 2.1-update1 Android, which came with the cellphone.
Thanks in advance!
Woaw...I guess no one knows what happened....25 views and no reply...
I can't make it work! I'm still trying to make something happen...Why the APK installed apps don't connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or 3G?
hi guys i just got my new acer liquid e a day ago, i heard that if i want to install my downloaded games (apk) i have to root my phone, i want to make sure this is so or is there another way of doing this.

1. network communication(full internet access)
2. storage(modify/delete sd card contents)
3. phone calls(red phone state aand identity)
i don't know if the phone is using up my data time(internet usage) i only have 500mb
HI,
I've recently purchased the G2X with EagleBlood ROM installed on it.
Any thing works flawlessly , except wireless file transfer
I've tried "AirDroid", "WiFi File Transfer", "Wireless file transfer" , but unfortunately nothing worked.
The same applications working flawlessly on any other Android based device (tablets and phones) I own.
Somebody has any clue ?
Thanks

Try the following remedies:
1) Check your Wifi settings. Make sure it is on either while charging or while you're trying to transfer your data through whichever app you're using.
2) Try sending smaller files (<5kb) just as a test one-by-one to see if that works.
3) I use "AirDroid" & "WiFi File Explore" but you can also try using FTP servers which are offered via "File Expert"
4) Last but not least (I highly doubt this), but you may wanna try reflashing a new ROM or the same ROM again.
Hope I helped.
Try es file explorer. Connect via wifi to your PC/Anastasia and copy/paste

for what it's worth, I use AntTek Explorer and it's network browser functionality, paired up with an FTP server on my LinuxMint Acer Aspire 5517. Works pretty well, but I have to do everything from the AntTek browser, which of course includes pushing files to the device from the laptop (works well up to ~150mb at a time) and to the laptop from the device (good until around ~100mb for me.)
