I am at my wits end here... I ordered 2 Infuse Battery Chargers (on eBay)... from 2 different sellers in Hong Kong. Clearly they haven't gotten the memo about the battery that fits the Infuse 4G, because BOTH sellers advertised the product as able to charge a Samsung Infuse 4G, yet both of the sellers sent a battery charger for the I9000.
Has anyone actually found one that is for the right battery? LOL. I know it's only cost me $4 each, but the wait only to be disappointed when the wrong product arrives drives me insane.
Thanks!
Someone mentioned here on the forums, you can use a samsung captivate battery. Same width, smaller height. So the user stuffed some paper bits in the remaining area so that the battery holds in place. Not a long-term solution, but if you need to do something about it, that's an option. I haven't tried it myself.

From my understanding you CAN... but the issue is if you stuff paper in there and your phone gets jostled, it may cause the power contacts to lose and re-connect, causing random reboots.
There are non-OEM Infuse batteries on eBay for $8 for 3... or $24 for one original.. is it really that big of deal to spend a couple bucks? It's like buying a Porsche and then cramming an after market air filter in that's half the size and surrounding it in tissue, hehe
I have 2 captivate batterys laying around and yes they are compatible. Just.wedge something in there to make.up for the room. Comes in handy for emergencys. They dont last as.long but o well right. Also i used the captivate battery charger to charge my infuse battery lol i know it dont fit right so i used a rubber band to hold it into place and yes it worked.

Well I got the "Samsung Infuse 4G 1800mAh 2 Battery+Dock USB CHGR Anker" on ebay from laptopmate_usa.
Includes 2 batteries plus a flimsy charger (still works fine however) and they work great in my experience.
I think it's ridiculous to pay full price for replacement batteries.

I have 2 ebay batteries and an extra OEM battery. The ebay batteries most certainly are NOT 1800 mAh. But they make good spares for traveling or extended movie watching.
When it comes to batteries, you definitely get what you pay for.

I am confused with your question. If you are looking for a charger for the spare battery, Samsung sells it. If you are looking for a spare battery, samsung also sells it but is only 1300 mAh

Anyone have heard of this company and would you think this would be a better choice than the Reg. 1800mAh either by Ankar or Samsung? Or if it'll even fit?
I know this a more of a question but because its regarding the battery i figured i post it over here if kenny feels like it he can move to the QnA.

Hmm, I'm almost considering getting it for testing purposes and for the bundled goodies (pen would goto me and the extra charger would goto my dad since he needs one)

They seem to be the same exact battery, just someone got wise and decided to put brand name on it and double the price lol. Of course I've only had one to test but it scored nearly identical with one of my Generic fatt batts.
There seem to be stronger contenders from both flavors (Generic or Hyperion). One one hand there's word of mouth (Hyperion) and one the other there's actual testing (Generic) but if people could send me some *preferably newer* Hyperions, then we can let the data tell us the answer we're looking for
What I REALLY want to test is a Seidio because I'm betting it will perform similarly and I just want to show people how bad of an investment they are.

I don't have the highest of hopes for it personally (capacity wise) but I believe it'd fit just fine since the OEM Epic Touch battery fits our phone. The Epic 4G's batteries are just a smidge longer/thinner and the Epic Touchs are a little thicker/shorter so maybe our OEMs may not fit there phones but if the 3rd parties match the OEM Epic Touch size dimensions I don't see how it wouldn't fit a regular Epic 4G.

I just see it being like the Hyperion, aka a Generic in a branded battery's clothing lol. And my experience has shown Generic slim batteries being rather crappy, sadly I haven't personally tested my Generic "1500mAh" slim Epic battery before I lost it.

In that case you may be better off going with the Ankers actually, I hear nothing but satisfied people talking about their's...if you want you could order them to me and I can review them and then send them to you when I'm done so we (the public) can see how two typical Ankers score brand new.

Fun thread. Which battery is better? I got the Anker batter but now i feel a little regretful as i think the Polarcell might be better..... The Anker seems good but i was expecting more and it charge slow too compared to my original samsung battery(thats 1 year 6 months old now).
My Polarcell battery life is very good. My record is over 7 hours of screen time.
I tried the stock battery with the same rom/kernel and it can't even get close to 7 hours. 4:30 hours at best.
Why can i find the polarcell battery. Whai is your ROM, your kernel to have a very good autonomie

Easier to say than to do! Samsung page in our country is pure ****. Nothing works, it freezes and doesn't open when I want to register, and also there is little to no suport :/
Hm, I would like to buy anker or something else already tested and trustworthy. But Amazon doesn't ship to our country, and haven't found Anker on ebay... Any other options?
PS: ok i just found Anker on ebay and it ships to Slovenia.
But WTF: on amazon you get 2x batteries and charger for 25$ and here it is 23$ just for one battery... damn :/

This is just from the first page of search results.
There is no way I'd buy a battery off of Ebay at this point.
so cheap battery
the battery is so cheap. I am also lucky to get a cheap battery. Although the price is one USD higher, it is good quality. I have used it for about a month now; I am on the phone all day, usually over 5 hours of screen time, and the battery is rarely below 70% in the end. You may also try this itemnite 2600mAh Battery for Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500.
made the mistake of buying 2 OEM with NFC and a charger for 26 bucks. Used for a day and it was garbage. IN the end, seller refunded me 20 bucks and i was on my may.
So im looking for a spare battery to use, what would you guys recommend? I read some good reviews about the anker battery but i dont like how its bigger and it makes the back bulge. Ive seen some ebay OEM batteries for a good price and also found these for extremely cheap http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-x-3000mAh..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item51aae2b2ed
Now i know these probably wont last as long as the oem battery but my question is is there any downside or long term damage that can occur to the phone itself by using these sub par batteries?
I'm also in the market for spare batteries + wall charger.. I had 3 for my old HTC Incredible, and it was an absolute luxury. However, I had to try 2 or 3 different companies before I found some that didn't lose their capacity

99% of the batteries on ebay seem to come from China/Hong Kong and these come from nanuet ny.
I don't know why I mention this but it did play a part in my deciding on these
If they suck, I'll have wasted $11 and I'll go ahead and order the onite or anker batteries

Anker and all those other companies make good batteries also,...certainly a LOT better the trash you're gonna find on eBay,(which I have 4 from past phones , 2 which don't even work, the other 2 are 4500mah extended batteries that barely last 5 hours)
