When I downloaded the shipped-roms, there are lots of .img files
I want to open them, but I dont know how to open, can anyone tell me?
How to open and edit the .img files.

On Linux you can mount the file if your kernel supports the yaffs filesystem, the other (easy) way is with a tool called unyaffs.

hiii friends..i m new user for xda developer..plz help me..i wanna know somthing from u..i download american android..its in RAR format..when i extract it it gives me 5 0r 6 files..when i select ad recovery i cant find it in my sd card..although i copy paste this to sd card..on the other side the winrar ZIP folder always selected in ad recovery..i used android in htc hd2..i know that RAR format uses only in window mobile..but i dont wanna use window mobile ..i wanna american android over my android..other method i used to flash by usb flasher..and i use dft files..plz help me, how can i flash rar folder or how can i use this folder in ad recovery..if any other thing is need to be done plz send me link to all those things which i need for using RAR formats for instaling ROMs..i have BoxmaX+KS+v8.1.SD also in winrar archive..i cant use this ROM also..:

hiii friends.. i have a problem installing android rom over the android..i have android rom and BoxmaX+KS+v8.1.SD.. these both roms are in winrar archive format..boths roms are not visible in ad recovery nor i know how to flash them..when i extracted them it gives those 2 files which everyone says that uses in window mobile to install these roms..but i dont wanna use window mobile..plz help me..tell me how i flash winrar folder in ad recovery and can i flash them in usb flasher..every rply will be appreciated..i need ur help friends..

How repack system folder in system.new.dat?

Hi,
I am trying to port a rom, it had the file system.new.dat, I managed to extract the system folder from it, now I have made the changes I wanted, but I need to return the system folder to be system.new.dat
Or if there is any flash without having to go back to .new.dat
someone help me please!!
