HUGE Thanks That Needs To Be Said!

I just want to start a thread to say what needs to be said to so many people, by so many people
Im definitely a noob when it comes to rooting modding flashing etc but xda and more specifically the SGS4G community really has had a significant impact in my "development quest" if you will
Thanks and praise really need to be given to the following people and if i failed to mention you, im sorry but here goes...
drhonk, krylon360, teamwhiskey, golmar88, gdofwr420, cnote74, whitehawkx, robbbbit, sygee, birgertime, dsexton, fknfokused, and mad fitter
I guarantee everyone has at one point in time been helped by the above mentioned people ( and again if i forgot you im truly sorry) you guys/gals dont get and possibly never will enough credit for what you do for so many people
again THANKS A TON
You make xda what it is...the best android development forum that has ever existed
PS: Also thanks to whoever created xda
yep they are great people
+1..
Lets not forget luckyduck69 for lending his phone to be used for testing. That act was a HUGE Help for us.
His generosity helped the development on our phone to move swiftly forward.
THANK YOU LUCKYDUCK69!

Thank you to all the devs. Big time!
Thanks also going out to the themers and modders that give us stock rom runners that personal touch to the phone.
On the bad side... I think a warrant was issued to arrest my phone, because it just murdered quadrant with a 2732 running kd1. LoL

+1 To this. I almost regretted deciding on the sgs4g before researching development and seeing there were nearly no mods available. But thanks to these people, it's been great getting back into custom roms. Thanks to everyone who is giving us what we need.
Thanks to all the dev's who spend time to help us. We know that is time you could be spending with your families, playing games, or mod'ing for your own phone. Most of you guy's who have made the major break through's don't even own this phone. If THAT doesn't say something for the selfless attitudes you have... Sincerely, Thanks!
Yup, I definitely agree. I read XDA forums every chance I get and I'm hooked onto trying to get the most out of my phone now that I've started flashing. Thank you all SO much!

Can I direct you to XDA Forum Rule #8:
8. Donations.
We appreciate all donations to xda-developers.com, it keeps our forum online and well maintained. As a user you're allowed to ask for donations in your signature as a thank you for your hard work. However donations up front are not allowed, this forum is about sharing, not about getting paid to do something, that's what your job is for.

I understand you may be doing this in good faith, but we can't allow people to just "ask for money" for a new phone to start developing.

[Monthly Holiday] Developer's Day

Welcome, community, to the XDA Developer's Day thread. We receive endless support from the developers. They deal with our bug submissions, questions, comments, complaints, and whining on a daily basis. What can we possibly do to give back?!
________________
When:
The first of every month.
What Can I Do?
Consider Rom, Application, Kernel, Theme, Tweak, and other developers in your decision:
Pick a developer who has influenced your life in some way this month and donate a few dollars! And come next month, pick another developer. A rotation, of sorts. Every donation counts, and is cherished.
Update your signature to reflect your support for developers and for the mass recognition of the holiday!
Credit to DHO for the original thread idea.
I REALLY don't think this will be necessary...
But just in case: Snagging post #2 as well.
Oh, and this has taken off fairly well on Rootzwiki.
I hope it does here as well.
This is a really awesome idea
+1
+1 as well this is a pretty cool idea. Developers really deserve supportfrom the community. One of let's them know that what they are doing is not in vain. Two some monitary support is always a good incentive to keep good hard core developers at the top of their game, which is the long run is good for everyone. Now I know a lot of of developers do it just because it is their personal hobby and the enjoy it. But some cummunity support and graditude never hurts.
Done, great idea.
Edit: And to the jerk who rated this thread with 1 star, you know who you are and you should be ashamed. Truly ashamed...
done
done deal .as stated before great idea.

To Give Thanks To All Developers

I've been a member of xda for a few years now and have never really posted anything. Just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all developers for all you guys do. I have an HTC Thunderbolt and I can honestly say if it was not for the awesome developers that dedicate THEIR time for OUR devices my Thunderbolt would be just another phone. Again I have never posted anything so if this should be moved or whatever you guys need to do with it is fine. Otherwise I hope that others will post their thanks here as well. You guys defiantly deserve it !! Thanks again guys! cdstrings

I couldn't agree more. This is my first post at xda, so I can't post in the development forum, but I've been lurking for quite awhile. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all of the Devs and the guys here at xda that keep this site going for the benefit of all. I have learned a ton from the Devs and the knowledgeable regulars, and while I can't pay back the regulars, I do kick the Devs some cash when I have extra. Thanks you all!

I bought my Thunderbolt the week it was released, and for me, Team Liquid has been its saving grace. If it wasn't for the seamless fluidity of Liquid Smooth 3.2 (and now Liquid ICS), I would have shattered this thing with a hammer long ago.
I know everyone is excited about ICS (as we should all be) but I'd like to give a shout out of thanks to Workshed , developer of Thundershed 1.6, which has been super stable, super smooth, and provided me with way better battery life.

I just wanted to say how much i appreciate all the help and support from you guys here in the skyrocket community. So i thank you, skyrocket community, for being awesome and showing how a dev community is supposed to be.

from a considered veteran in this section I can tell u that as long as u put in the effort to understand, we'll help. If u don't read the stickies or search, and are lazy and expect a spoon fed response, forget about it.

I'm on my 6th Android device, and this is the most supportive community I've seen.
