changed over to CM ROM.. still confused

Hi,
i switched from the DESIRE Rom`s to CM and i`m pretty happy so far, but i still want some things i miss:
1. an app drawer that moves quicker.. i mean this one is nice and 3D but so slow to scroll!. I looked for spare parts but it seams there is no standalone app for the N1
2. Other than the iphone style lock screen and the pattern one, can we get something else? Maybe the Desire Lock Screen?
3. Is there a way to install the Desire Mail app and Clock (the one with weather and all)

1. look up helixlauncher, one of them on the market is a drawer.
2. check out lock 2.0
3. I'm not sure about these.

The answer to #3 is no.

1. HelixLauncher, market or on this forum. Just a simple push or install of an APK.
2. Lock 2.0 or Lockbot, both on market. Search for "Lockscreen"
3. I'm not too sure what you mean but which mail app are you talking about? Check out Pure Messenger Widget and for the clock, check out "Beautiful Widgets" or "Weather and Toggle Widget" or something like that. (I actually forgot the name of this one)

Well i`m using helixlauncher2 and the app drawer is slugish.
As for lock 2.0 it's iphone style
I would have liked to have the Mail app from the desire ROM, because it was really good. but installing the apk does not work

Helix Launcher 2 IS quite slow, a newer version in on the way thats better but if you use Helix Launcher (NOT 2) it is the older drawer style and much faster.
LockBot allows you to use several lock screen styles including the Desire/Hero style one
Weather Widget Donate and Beautiful widgets both provide a similar clock to the desire one and support skins so you can customise them.

Or use HelixLauncher2 0.7b1 - just as fast as stock.

Yep its no longer laggy

well the app drawer is not as fast as i would like it to be in HelixLauncher2 0.7b1 but it's ok. Thanks for the tips btw

I just rooted my Inspire 4G and am running cm7, i love it, but i would like to have my beautiful HTC widgets back! like the weather/clock widget and the favorites widget...has anyone been able to do this?

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I like a mix of both of those widget packs, but just one thing, on the Inspire, before I rooted it, when you would unlock to the home screen, it would display weather effects on the screen, like it was cloudy, clouds would pass by the screen and if it was lightning....well you see where I'm goin with this, do any of those widgets have that feature (I only downloaded the free versions of those widget packs)

IIRC fancy widgets support unlock animation.

Hi all,
i have a Nexus 4. I have found this image of Nexus 5 in a review:

If not (as I think), do you have any idea about which third party widget is that?

How can i get an xperia weather widget like in xperia u on my Nexus 5?

Your best bet is probably the app "beautiful widgets" like the HTC sense and touch wiz widgets you'd need that actual Xperia launcher and resource apps to actually install it.
