[Q] Issue with voice calls - Galaxy 3 Android Development

Hi Guys,
It good to see people working around with Galaxy 3. I bought this phone recently and am having issues with calls. I have connection from vodafone and activated background data and auto sync for my accounts in setting > accounts and sync. when i am on voice call and phone syncs in the background, the call is dropped. My phone will be out of network till the time sync is in progress.
Only method available to me is to disable the background data, which is not a good option for me.
Can someone assist me with this issue?

I have same problem with froyo. Can anyone help me?

[Q] Voice interrupting Data

I was playing with my newly acquired google music account and streaming music through my EDGE connection. I missed a few phone calls and text messages during this time. Is it possible to have voice calls/text messages interrupt my data stream? I assumed that a voice call coming in would kick off the data and come through. Apparently this is not the case?
Thanks in advance.
Bump for help.
Sent from my infin1ty Nexus S.
I don't know if it was for these phones or on a custom rom. I thought I saw a setting to not let the phone ring if there was an active data connection.

I was wondering why i was getting any phone calls today and yesterday, (Have to restart wifi every hour to be enable wifi calling), so i decided to call my voicemail box just to check, and what do you know, i have over 10 voice mails that i didnt receive any notification for!? GrooVeIP Google voice problem

For almost a year I never had a problem but yesterday i don't what happened. I use GrooVeIP as my primary way to make phone calls. I do not have cell phone service. Most of the time I'm on a WiFi network. Since yesterday GrooVeIP will let me make phone calls but i cant receive them it will go straight to voice mail without a single ring. All voice mails go into the spam folder in Google voice even though i have no filters set up. All calls are check marked to be forwarded to Google chat. There is no call screening in place. Do not disturb is set to off. Global Spam Filtering is off. On GrooVeIP settings on the app i have tried, Partial wake lock and High pref WiFi lock but has no effect. I have tried most settings but with no resolve. Wondering if other people are having this problem or somebody has a fix? Please feel free to ask any questions...Thanks!!
After playing around with google voice i found that it was marking everything as spam. I have to go threw all contacts and mark them as not spam and it seems to be working.

Thank You,
I had a similiar issue once. I don't know what I did to solve it. One day it just worked again. However, the guys at wpcentral are discussing this issue for a while Maybe one of the solutions there work for you;

[Q] Lollipop call forwarding notification

So, I’ve been on the T-Mobile $30 prepaid plan for a while and, to keep my number of minutes in check, I forward all calls to voicemail. This works well, but ever since upgrading to Lollipop I now have a constant annoying Call forwarding notification on my lock screen and I can’t get rid of it. Lollipop allows you to Block most app notifications, but this option does not appear to be available for Call forwarding (yes, I’ve tried blocking Google Dialer to no avail). Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know of a fix or workaround? Suggestions welcome—I also wonder how others with this plan control their minute usage (yes, I also use VoIP and Hangouts).
Cheers.
Has anyone found a solution for this issue? I am having the same problem as BinkXDA. The "Phone" app doesn't allow you to uncheck notications. Whereas almost every other app does. What gives?
Thanks!
