Windows 7-not work

Hi, well I have found.
I have a problem: I installed Windows 7 on PC and then can not install any version of any rom.
I can help with advice?
Thanks in advance.
It is simple.http://www.modaco.com/content/windo...u-on-vista-it-can-be-done-the-ultimate-guide/
Try searching for 64 bit drivers too if you have 64 bit OS. The above works only for x86 computers. If you dint find, reply and I'll post.
Work very well.Tank you very much.

Samsung Device Drivers?

My pc wont recognize my infuse. I looked for a cd and went to the site and nothing available. Can someone point me to samsung drivers for this device?
I just rooted my Infuse.
I used the SOC pack with the drivers and used those. 0 Problems. If you don't want to root at least you can use the drivers for whatever you need.
Not sure how to intall those drivers on my windows 7 64 bit.
First time with a samsung and I ran soc and it failed saying device not found.
Usb debugging selected etc
Update: Started working..seems that I am now rooted
I used Win 7 32bit. I had to go to device manager and had to do the manually update drivers dance a couple of times to get all the devices installed.
You can also just download the captivate drivers or the samsung update exe.
Just install the latest version of Kies then plug your phone in. All set.
Download & Install Kies here:
http://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobilesoftwaremanual/mobilesoftwaremanual.do?page=MOBILE.SOFTWARE.MANUAL
Once it is completely installed, then plug in your phone. Windows 7 (64bit) will automatically recognize it.
You can proceed with root (superoneclick) from there. Won't work w/o the drivers.

[REF] Samsung USB Driver

A friend of mine just bought this phone and could not get the phone to display the contents of his microSD card on his WinXP computer thru USB. And because his handset came without installation discs and I didn't want to install bloated Samsung Kies I tried to find the drivers on this "Fit" sub-forum. Strange as it seems I couldn't find a single thread that could locate me to only Samsung's USB drivers.
I tried to install USB drivers for my Galaxy S and they worked like a charm (no reboot needed)!
In this thread are the newest Samsung USB Drivers for Mobile Phones (x86 & x64).
If you can't download from mediafire, you can try the megaupload mirror.
And these are the drivers I used and they worked like a charm on a WinXP (x86) machine.
I hope I helped!
Hey, sorry for the trouble, but can you post a link for a x32 version for win xp, please??
Hi!
WinXP x32?
There are only x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) PC architectures. You probably meant WinXP 32-bit, which is x86.
If I'm wrong use the latest USB drivers because there are both included (you can't go wrong with that).
And I forgot to mention that in the last megaupload link are the old USB drivers (in case the newest don't work). These old ones were tested by me and they worked flawlessly on a WinXP x86 machine.
Sorry for late reply.

[Q] Can't install Kies.

Hello!
I have a problem with Kies, I've searched around the site but couldn't an answer.
The thing is, I download Kies from the samsung site, and when I open the .exe, I see a green bar and after that it disappears and the installer never opens.
I have Windows XP x64 bit.
Thanks!
do you have a download manager?
It's possibly the download didn't complete properly or is corrupt in some way. I would download again using a download manager (downthemall) is a popular firefox add-on
Failing that try obtaining the installer from a different site, and/or possibly try a different version
Edit: windows XP x64 is a pretty bad version of windows to be on (its not really 64bit) I would suggest upgrading your operating system at some stage

I just installed downthemall and downloaded Kies again, but the same thing happened. The installer won't open.
I've already tried downloading the installer from a different site but the same thing happened.
I have no idea what's the issue here.
Yeah I was planning to update it to windows 7 but I don't know when, I don't like much the way it looks
There are a lot of program compatibility issues with windows xp 64, I would say install on any other machine and it will work
just because its 63 1/2 bit doesnt mean you needs another computer, as i have win xp (almost) (64BiT) as well and ,win 7 on my laptop and regular win xp 32.5 bit and none WORK WITH KIES! ITS SAMSUNG JUST FACE THE TRUTH AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A NEW OS JUST TO BE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, if their are any compatibility issues they are due to programs not being "MADE" compatible with it. besides i would rather be the one compatible with my computer then my apps

I also have the same problem. Windows 7, x64.
Has anyone found a solution?
Sorry for bringing this thread back to life, but I have a similar problem with KIES, only mine says that my pc is not connected to the internet!!!! OF course it doesn't take into account that I'm posting this as we speak.... Of all the problems an installation could face, internet connection is the one that messes with it?!
Does anyone have a solution?
i tried some months ago to install kies drivers and in my win7 64bit i don't have any problems
but i tried kies programs only first time, then i deleted it.
some days ago i get cyanogenmod to delete jellymod that have a lot of problems, also via usb ( i can't get files to my computer that appear a pop up of windows that says my devices is going off... too strange
anyway i nned to try now with cyano, if i have the same pop up, i guess is a usb cable, or another problem that i need to find and resolve...

[Completed] ADB Studio

I have been trying to download adb for android. I use tutorials on youtube. I go to the adb studio website. I know my laptop is old. I have a Centrino processor @ 1.66 GHZ. 3 GB sdram. Plenty of hard drive space. Absolutely nothing happens when I click the download link. I choose 32 bit windows. No matter WHICH link I click, it doesn't freeze my machine, seems to just ignore me. I downloaded it immediately on a core i5 MacBook pro.
I am guessing it is my machine. Can't find info on the adb studio website.

There's now a post in the news section that will always have the latest adb and fastboot binaries available for download.
Have a look here: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-releases-separate-adb-and-fastboot-binary-downloads/
Hope it helps!
