Has anyone experienced varying playback speeds of MP3 files on the G Tablet? The standard player plays the tracks slow and Rockplayer plays them fast.
Update
Problem goes away when on AC power. Battery was about 33%, wonder what the threshold is before playback speed is affected.

I have coreplayer 1.2.1 installed on my sprint touch and I keep on having this problem: Everytime I am watching a movie from my microsd card the video will freeze up for about 10-15 seconds after every 3 or 4 minutes of smooth playback. I have no interruptions in audio while the movie plays.
I have played around with all of the video and buffering settings in coreplayer with no success at cracking this problem, does anyone know of a fix?
Is there a music player or codec substitution that draws less current?
When listening to MP3s with the stock player (or any player), I'm guessing it's probably the CODEC that drains the battery. I had a 2nd gen MotoRzr (W490) that I'd play MP3s with, and send audio with a2dp to bluetooth headphones. I could play music for hours with no noticeable impact on battery. When my G2x is behaving, the stock music player drains more than the Bluetooth or WiFi radio - the music player is the biggest single drain on the battery. A little disappointing...
Any suggestions to reduce current draw while listening to music?

I promise you'll be amazed at your battery draw
I listen to my mp3s with Voodoo controls amp powering my Beats By Dre headphones and there is very little battery drainage.
I've experienced an issue in both Rockplayer and MXPlayer where videos will cut out randomly and stop playing. It can occur after 30 seconds, or 40 minutes. The WiFi is set not to sleep, so it is not that.
Anyone experience anything similar?
use dice player,
i can perfectly stream 1080p movies from my nmt.
Hi,
using the TVcathup app and in windowed mode it plays fine. Play it full screen and the stream starts to freeze. It can'be bandwidth as the stream is pretty low qual anyway.
Anyone else have issues?
Thanks
When I play my videos using HW decoder so I get DTS and Dolby 5 pass through to my audio amplifier sometimes the video runs about 20% slow. The video pauses for about half a second every 5 seconds. The audio runs slow and frequency is shifted lower pitch .
I have an Android TV box with optical output to my amp. Model RK3188, Android ver 4.4.2
-Problem is only when I pass thorough DTS or Dolby audio.
-Software DTS Dolby codex runs the correct speed. (But I lose my surround sound.)
-Problem is intermittent. Some times (75%) MX Players starts OK and sometimes it starts into this slow mode.
-Restarting MX Player or just going from HW to SW mode sometimes (75% chance) fixes the problem.
-Problem occurs with many other players that have pass through except the “Built in Android Video Player” or “Archos” Video player.
I really like the features of MX Player . Just this bug is an nuisance.
