For those using Green power - I have an issue that occurs now and then - it forgets to manage WiFi in addition to the cell connection and switches to Manage mobile network only mode. Does anyone else experience this glitch? Enforce WiFi check is off.

Hi all,
I'm having an issue connecting to wifi at work. We have several (15+) wifi networks that I can detect via wifianalyzer on my phone. But when I go into the stock wifi settings to connect to them it doesn't list ANY of them and is constantly scanning. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Has anyone else experienced this?
-Derek
Turn off wifianalyzer, turn off wifi, turn back on, scan for networks again. didnt work ?
turn off wifi, restart phone, turn on wifi.
Should do the trick.
We experienced an issue while reconnecting to the WIFI network after an unavailability of the connected WIFI network. Our issue can be reproduced by following the below steps.
1. Turn on the Wi-Fi adapter if not turned on. Wi-Fi is connected.
2. Went out from WiFi coverage area. Wireless manager display WiFi ‘unavailable’. Then after about 5 seconds, it shows ‘connecting’. About 10 seconds after that, it shows ‘unavailable’ again. This cycle continues.
3. Came back to WiFi coverage area. It does not detect WiFi network and wireless manger continue to display the above cycle.
4. Turned off the Wi-Fi adapter. Turned it on again. Then WiFi network is detected and WiFi is connected.
This issue in step 3 occurs roughly 4 out of 5 times when I come back to WiFi coverage area.
Additionally when it fails, I noticed that it does not show any of the available WiFi networks when I search for networks using ‘Find WLANs’ option. The OEM version that I used is 02.40.0211. I have attached the ‘Wireless log’ of a test that produced the issue. Also I have attached the screen shots.
Moreover, We have downgraded one of our devices to OEM version 02.31.0002 and this issue is still there.
If the phone goes to sleep mode(Idle) & then try to reconnect , then it connects successfully.
Please see the attached screens & the log file for more information.
Suggestions to overcome this & reasons for this issue are highly appreciated.
apparently there is a bug in the wifi driver of the Atrix 2 (using the stock AT&T upgrade to ICS 4.0.4).
the bug causes the wifi to get very poor reception, even when just located a few feet from a hotspot. turning wifi off then on with the phone settings does not correct the problem. i read somewhere that this problem was caused by some sort of incompatibility between the wifi driver and the wifi hardware, which was sometimes incorrectly left in a low-power mode.
i found a workaround to resolve the problem:
1) long-press the power button
2) select "Sleep mode"
3) long-press the power button again to wake up the phone
this does correct the situation, and allows wifi to work normally again.
does know is there is a software fix for this issue?
Did you ever had problems with WiFi connection? Sometimes (especially when using YouTube and other app at the same time) it just stops working: apps shows that there's not connection but system is still connected to local network. To fix it I have to turn WiFi off and back on.
Any fix?
I have android 10.0.3 on oneplus 7 pro EU version, with smurf kernel and have a really strange issue. When I am at home, I am connected to wifi, but when I leave my home, connect to mobile data and then come back home I can't turn on wifi. When I press the button to turn on the wifi, it goes to turned off after 1-2 sec by itself. The only fix is that I restart my phone.
I have disabled everything in wifi preferences, and the problem still persists. Does anybody have a similar or same issue?
