Orange Glow Theme For AOSP And CM6.1 *UPDATE*11/12/2010

UPDATE: Now available for CM6.1
This is just a little theme I have been using for AOSP Rom. So far it is just the framework and a themed launcher pro so that the widgets match. This is my first theme I wanted to contribute so if there is anything you would like to see added to this let me know and I'll try and make that happen. Most of the native apps and such already look good (to me) but I will theme them as well if you the people would like. Also If you use a different home app such as ADW or Launcher2, I will theme them if you would like. Theme is PNG optimized and signed for wholesome flashing.

If you use launcher pro, you have to unlock it for desktop visualizer to work(I think). Adw works fine.
*Download Desktop Visualizer from the market(free).
**Add DV widget size 4x1. (2x1 works ok as well)
***I recommend changing your screen size to at least 5 rows x 4 columns. (6x4 works good too)

Thanks man, I was going for somewhat of a "sense" feel, but with brighter colors. Your themes are great. I especially dig the Galaxy S port and all the tools you've provided us to use.

Gracias Amigo. Your Impaled Blue is wicked. I'm kinda a flash-a-holic so I usually flash theme just about every theme for what ever rom I happen to be running atm.

not for me, but looks good. glad it worked out the way you liked it.

Very good job on this. You'll probably do fine with just LauncherPro. Seems most aosp users use it. ADW would probably top it off though

Ha, never crossed my mind, but yeah. Impaler's gold theme makes a hella good Saints theme.

If you've got time sure. This shade of orange perfectly matches my dads 1971 Dodge Demon I grew up loving. I'm porting a red theme now but I really like where this is going.

I haven't started recompiling yet. Driving back from Florida with my daughter now. I've got all the files prepared and plan on redoing all the .apk tomorrow then figuring out notification colors and a full update script.

[Theme] Green Lantern Evo for CM 6.1.2 by Abu_Noah

After a few request and good feedback from my SuperManEvo theme, I decided to follow it up with the Green Lantern, especially since the movie is about to come out. It's basically a replica of the SupermanEvo theme, but green and everything that was Superman is replaced by the Green Lantern. I do not have a bootanimation yet, but there are several splash screens to pick from and a special one the girls might like. tell me what you think. This is for CM 6.1.2, but I may update it to the newest nightly soon. As usually, I am not responsible if you jack up your phone. More screen shots in 2nd post and Splash screen shots in 3rd post.

I themed the Facebook and Gmail icons, but if they don't show up, thentry uninstalling Facebook and gmail, rebooting and reflashing the theme. that should work or as an alternative, download the pngs below, put them on your sd card and then hold the facebook or Gmail app on your home screen until it vibrates and the let go. a menu should appear. press the icon and then you will be able to go into the gallery and replace the icon with the custom one.

Basically what u do is unzip the Rom you want to theme. Go to system/framework and unzipped the framework -res and then that's where u play with the pngs to change them to what u want.

like for the bootscreen, theme, keyboard etc...

Man, I have to take my hat off to you for this one. I stopped running CM for a little bit, but I saw this and had to put it back on. Kudos for this one, and i've actually rooted 3 peoples phones today for this theme, including a rep in a sprint store, lmao.
The dialer is ridiculous man, A++++ I think thats one of the best dialer skin i've seen. do you have a donate button?

The boot animation is in system /media. You unzip it and replace the images with your own. Just copy the sizes to start out with and later you can make them custom sizes. The keyboard is an apk in system apps. Basically without this being a lengthy conversation it is a lot of trial and error and also open up some other them to see what they theme and then copy them until you learn which png is which and where they go. Also you will need to install sdk and eclipse to be able to edit png.9's. You can Google how to edit png.9'son YouTube. Believe me I didn't know how to either. You have f up a few themes before you get it right, but if that's what you want to do then go break a few eggsso you can make your omelet.

lol, yeah i was doing a pink theme a while back and ditched the project because it seemed like no one really wanted it (that and i mistakenly deleted all the files) but since 2.6 is coming out soon and i have to update everything anyways i will work hard this weekend to make a pink version....
that being said, i do not use better keyboard and would love if you could pull the hex color code or get me a screen cap of the keyboard so i can make the colors match
Edit: just learned i'm getting a droid X to do my work on so i am gunna put off the whole pink thing until then so i don't have to mess with my daily driver anymore... so give me till next weekend

After much deliberation I think the color code is: FF0099
I really appreciate you doing this. Liberty ROM has a pink theme but that ROM is unstable for me so far so I wanted to stick with Fission! Can't wait to see what you come up with! :-D

This thing looks sweet...unfortunately...I can't get it to work on RC2+GM. Tried the mount/unmount zips as well and still just continues to bootloop.
Oh well - with RLS1 coming out tomorrow or the next day, I might give up "GM-mode" so I can check this out!

I REALIZE THAT THIS THEME IS NOT FOR EVERYONE BUT I KNOW THAT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT HAVE LOVE FOR KICKS OR JORDAN OR JUST SPORTS THAT WILL APPRECIATE THIS THEME. BUT EVEN IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF THOSE THINGS I PURPOSELY TRIED NOT TO IMPLEMENT ANYTHING SPORTS RELATED SO THAT IT WOULD APPEAL TO MORE PEOPLE BY MAINLY USING THE ELEPHANT PRINT. I USED NIKE 2002-04 FONT FOR THE DIALER NUMBERS AND FONT AS WELL AS THE LOCK SCREEN. I SPENT A LOT OF TIME THEMING EVEN THE LITTLE THINGS TRYING TO BE AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE. ALL IN ALL I HAVE WORKED ON THIS FOR A FEW MONTHS AND IN MY OPINION IT CAME OUT AWESOME BUT LIKE I SAID BEFORE...IT'S NOT MEANT FOR EVERYONE! SEEMS THE MAJORITY LIKE BLUE THEMES BUT NOT ME! I AM SICK OF BLUE! SO I HAD TO MAKE IT RED! I HOPE THAT EVERYONE ENJOYS THIS AND PLEASE MAKE SURE AND LOOK OUT FOR UPCOMING S!CK MADE THEMES!

TESTED AND WORKING GREAT WITH WICKED V.5.1 AND INFAMOUS/ALPHA ROMS! IF USING WITH ANY ROM THAT USED 3MINIT FRAMEWORK THEN MAKE SURE AND AFTER FLASHING OF THE THEME GO INTO 3MINIT SETTINGS AND CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE TOGGLES AS WELL AS THE PULLDOWN BAR TO WHITE TO DISPLAY THE THEME AS IT WAS MEANT. ALSO IF FLASHING ON ANY ROM USING 3MINIT FRAMEWORK THE TOGGLE BACKGROUND WILL NOT BE THEMED! NOT TO FEAR IN POST#2 I WILL ADD A PNG IMAGE OF THE TOGGLE BACKGROUND. JUST CLICK THE IMAGE AND SAVE TO YOUR DEVICE AND APPLY IN 3MINIT SETTINGS. THE ONLY ROM IN WHICH I DON'T THINK IT WILL WORK WITH AT THIS TIME IS DARTSTALKER. IF PEOPLE COULD PLEASE POST WHICH ROM THEY FLASHED ON SO I AND EVERYONE KNOWS WHICH WILL WORK AND WHICH WILL NOT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
FLASH IN RECOVERY. MAKE SURE THAT IT IS FLASHED ON A CLEAN ROM MEANING THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER THEMES FLASHED THAT MIGHT INTERFEAR WITH IT RUNNING CORRECTLY. WIPING IS NOT REQUIRED BUT IT DOESNT HURT!

Thank you im glad that you like it. It seems that I am having some xml color problems ie. Depending on which rom you flash some roms make it hard to read names in contacts but im on top of it so if anyone is having that problem just know it will be fixed asap! Also later tonight I will be updating tw launcher, multi window, and post a bad ass status bar that im working on so check back!

I have been trying to get this theme working all day it flashed fine but when the phones boots up there is no status bar or notification drop down and I am using 3Minit with my rom any ideas I am running FreeS4

Yes actually I wanted to. I want to get everything done with this one and after that I am going to make a Wizards version of this one which when Jordan played for the Wizards, will be the Wizards colors blue. Its a cool ass lookin blue.
