I love Android, and i love HTC Sense, but first of all i love stability! HTC Desire have all that i need, but... there is always something that could be better (sometimes i think htc does it on purpose to do us something to do), on XDA you can find a lot of customized Sense roms, but many of them are too much customized, so they lost in stability, so i decided to keep HTC latest RUU (2.29.405.5 WWE) and make a rom based on it, with some restricted mod (only the necessary) to make it become perfect!​

Official 2.3.5 ROM for ZTE Blade [GEN2] (11/10/11)

Well friends, here we get the oficial ZTE Rom for Blade / Libra 2.3.5 version of Android, the virtually the same as 2.3.4 but for not having made ​​any mod (tweaks, etc) is like a shot. Yep, already tried CM7.1.0 - which sucks, then GSF 27 - smooth, and then this one - super smooth. Absolutely felt in love with my blade (switched from LG Optimus Black).

No not directly. First you need to upgrade to Gen 2 using the TPT thing. Think you can find it on Modaco forums (http://android.modaco.com/forum/488-zte-blade-libra-roms-rom-customisation/ ) if not here somewhere.

Solved more or less... after reboot the BT recovered to a normal state. Anyway I have done sth really nasty: restored application which were backed up under a different system.
Now It run after a facory reset, all apps are installed from market (or SD card). Much better... I did not try the BT after the reset.
I have seen a freeze/reboot while using a normal (not rooted system) app: WhatGas.
And the Q.: why did you changed the stock mail app? K9 can not connect our exchange server, and it does not even appear under the settings/accounts menu. Useless for me.

Issues with the rom
Unfortunatelly I have several issues with this ROM in first several minutes:
1) Incorrect Russian translation, which causes crash in Settings - Application menu (in English it is working fine)
2) Proximity sensor works incorrectly (it just shut down during the conversation and it is really difficult to turn it on again)
I have tried to flash original ROM but in this case screen does not turn off during conversation at all.
Is it possible just to convert an original rom into GEN2 without deleting/adding anything (including non-overclockable kernel) to test an original rom without the risk of stucking on it? I believe, this could be really useful.

This is my first port ever!!! so beware there may be bugs, but it seems really stable to me. Anything that doesnt work in entropy's CM9 will not work here because i used his CM9 to port this. You flash this at your own risk, allthough it is highly unlikely im not responsible for any damage caused to your phone, or your friends phone or anyones phone. however if you do encounter problems i will do my best to help you.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
Coming from previous ICS ROM:
1) download the rom
2) boot into CWM Recovery
3) mount system (not neccessary according to others but i do it anyways)
4) wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache
5) flash rom
6) reboot and enjoy
Coming from Gingerbread (double flash):
1) download rom
2) reboot to recovery
3) wipe data/factory rest, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache
4) flash rom
5) reboot
6) will get stuck at samsung logo or something
7) simutaniously hold power button, volume down, volume up until your phone reboots and you see the samsung logo - as soon as you see the samsung logo let go of buttons (but not your phone lol)
8) mount system
9) re-flash rom with no wipes
10) reboot and enjoy
if you get a colorful hard to read recovery it is because you dont have gingerbread bootloaders, the rom should not be effected by this but if you want to fix this problem then you need to flash gingerbread bootloaders

Yep, playing with it. With AOSP from CodeAurora, AOKP and CM9 also.
CodeAurora sources are working great since Acer used it as base, but for CM or AOKP it's more difficult, especially RIL part (telephony and data), like all Acer phone.

hey, i just bought the acer liquid glow and saw your rom. great stuff man, good to see that even for less popular phones there are still developers willing to invest time in making custom optimized roms.
however since you're pretty much the only developer building a rom for the acer liquid glow and i haven't found user reviews, i was wondering how well it functions. Any known bugs and such. Since we are with only a very limited group of phone owners i wanted to know how stable it is since i'm not a developer myself and dont want to bother you with noob questions on problems.
Furthermore, how is development coming along on the cm10?

hey, i'm struggling with the rom. after i installed the zip through cwm i get the orriginal acer boot screen. however when jumping to the boot animation it crashes and it falls into fastbootmode indicating an error in the normal boot procedure. i'm restoring the phone now and see if it works if i start from the top again
did anyone experience a similar problem? any suggestions.
lastly, a new download of liquid glow is problematic, i get a box where i need to put in a password and username.

Did you wipe before installing the ROM ? If not that could explain the issue.
Try flashing again but use wipe data/factory reset, then use the wipe options in the advanced menu (dalvik, cache,...). That should do the trick.
As for download, Vache is experiencing a few issues with his server so just wait a little.

My liquid glow sometimes reboots on using Maps navigation and with Extended Settings (I notified the developer, we're looking into it).
I also have network problems sometimes but it might the coverage at my work place.
Has it happened to you ? And is it better with this ROM ?

I'm clearly having a blonde moment... How do I get into CWM after flashing it through fastboot? Without that, I can't flash this ROM...

Having many issues with wifi on the stock Rom (disconnects, authentication problems...) so installing your Rom now hoping this will be something from the past.
I have this phone for 2 days now, it's the second since I returned the first because of the wifi issues, this one has the same problem!!! Tested it on three different wifi accesspoints. I experienced more errors with WPA2 then WPA, but still very unstable. The rest of the phone: great for its price!

I have the same issue, also clearing cache and reset also under advanced do not help.
Try to restore with a stock emea rom ( from Vache FTP) but this zip file is faulty it says
So looking for a way to get the 1.5.2 rom working (Did I mis a step? )or a stock rom that works.

Could you tell me step by step how you did it, I already tried it on three different roms and it always gets stuck in the bootlogo

I also use this kernel be4.
I did following steps.
1. Flash xtended.
2. Flash disable force encryption (optional)
3. Flash Magisk (it is a must or it will say no ramdisk found.)
4. Flash Lawrun.
5. Reboot.
But after I use this kernel I encounter some issues.
It will randomly freeze my phone (maybe when ur playing a game or chatting with ur friend or even just watching videos). At that time, u can't do anything but wait it automatically restart after freezed 10~20 seconds.(yean also power button and volume bottom not working when freeze.)
For this kernel I tried 5 ROMs, only xtended can use this kernal, other ROMs will just bring u back to rec.
And it's a pity that I can't see significant battery life improvement when using this kernal. I tried xtended kernal and also Lawrun. Just login to Google and no new app installed, then put it away for 24hr , wifi and Bluetooth is on, no sim card installed. Xtended drop 5% and this kernel drop 4%.
As a result, this kernal is not appealing to me. It's feature like control the current of charging can be done with other apps (like ACC). So after a hard decision.... I back to xtended kernal.
But still, thanks for developer's hard work.
