In festive season, all I can think of is - 'Sharing is Caring' ..
While you are busy enjoying these holidays, how about sharing what UI you've got on your TG01 right now?
Please vote on this thread as What is your CURRENT UI and if you changed it from something else, please comment below and point few drawbacks of other UIs you might have tried and stopped using!
I hope you will help more users visit this thread and vote!
It can be an exciting new thread for future users to know what can be available on TG01s - what works and what doesn't!
PS: I have left it multiple choice as many of us might be switching between their favourite UIs every other day. Please don't select ALL of them if you are actually not using ALL of them!
I use SPB the most, followed by HTC Sense (only as Sense ROM)

It works, but not to my likes!
I love SPB's smooth huge icons. The programs tab will put exactly the same type of icons on there - which sort of spoils the looks for me.
Overall - it IS smooth and fast as Oly said.
I am not sure what 5% Oly has deducted though

I haven't noticed much difference to be honest after flashing Mangosoras rom. I am using all apps and shell - in the same way. My usage was more due to Christmas eve and Christmas day (call and texts!) - but I've been using my phone since 24/12/2010 9pm - fully charged and today is 26/12/2010 11am - and I have got 40% battery remaining! Roughly 38 hours on use/stand by - isn't that good?!
ps: I have been using wifi and data connections (for downloading emails as they arrive from 3 accounts and also for mobile facebook and bbc news!)

I am waiting patiently for ver 4 also. when I say patiently I mean I am chomping at the bit to get it and can't wait for it... but...as I have seen in another thread.... I am not adding to a 3,000 post thread asking for a password to something that is in private beta testing or indeed saying please please can I be a beta tester just so that I can get my hands on it.
IMO (and not getting at anyone specifically)Dutty should be left alone to create his masterpiece in peace and make it public when he is happy to do so.
Anyway....Bring On V4, can't wait to see just how good it is going to be
Wow

Is There a Chance to run Manilla 3D on our beloved Universal?
Maybe only on 128MB ones I guess.
i found that programmers where able to make this thing work on devices earlier then the universal, i contacted one of them and he said manilla 3d can run on softwere renderers quite good, so we just need the adequat drivers...
Are you sure you are talking about Manila 3D? Manilla 2D is running on the Blueangel and I don't see why it wouldn't run on the Uni if it was VGA but unfortunately it's not. Don't know if someone can make it vga or guide as how to.
On the other hand, Manila 3D is very resource hungry so I don't see how it could run on the Uni. It slows my Touch Pro down quite noticeably. Not to mention it's size. With Manila 3D you will probably have no space left for other applications.
VGA version of Manilla 2D already exist and it runs on Uni. But it is very resource hungry, it is not perfectly fluid, and it doesn't support landscape.

My experience also - once you load the VGA icons, etc you are left with pretty much no room in your ROM. Pity, particularly as the M2D version they are working on is a port from VGA down to QVGA as I understand it.
I´m sure it´s possible to run, but the question will be how slow my 64mb Uni will be with that app running?
I´m using HTC Home, Opera, Messenger, S2P, PCM contacts & PCM Keyboard and speed, stability and performance is in a good average.
Hope someone can give more advices
Cheers,

Hi
Yes I found it very stable and no battery draining as fast as 7.7.
I´m sure once Tomal recieves his new Uni he will develop a new ROM better than the ones we have now, but till that time I´ll stick to a stable and fast 7.6.

to my fellow posters,
phew, after a long time waiting, and searching; the fuze has arrived. Its a nice phone, sleek; i just wish i had the original HTC TouchFLo instead of att crap. Build quality feels a little cheap, thank god for the insurance, a relief for us whom bought a tilt when they launched with no insurance. Though i hear the deductible is steep. Had a quick time at the at&t store, when it finally got to my turn. Joseph was nice and informative. I was not given free car charger and/or case like some lucky users, though i did take a swing at it.
So its here now, so what to do now guys? What are recommended roms, and programs etc? I want this phone to do everything lol
really would like :
touch pro EURO touchflo interface(if possible)
nice browsern and all that good stuff. Lets all come together and gasp in Fuze joy! Thanks guys!

hey asad:
bro you are asking questions that are really based on individual taste. What rom is recommended could differ heavily from one user to another .. imo monx aka hung tuah's roms are pretty good. I have tried his kaiser roms they are good.
as far as changing touchflo interface you can just flash a different rom that has the euro version or wait for someone to use a att build and incorporate the euro touchpro interface etc...
I would recommend looking around and searching for various cabs. The sky is the limit !!!

In my experience of trying them out over the past couple of weeks, most of them dont work on the Fuze in landscape mode. Hopefully that will change now that there are so many Fuzes out there!
I know Nisse has a couple that work on the Fuze so he is a good place to start. (I've been running his HTC Black theme since he released it and i like it a LOT better than the stock AT&T theme...)
