Dear Friends,
There are various but incomplete topics for full screen compatibility of GALAXY TAB Games, so i decided to create a new thread in order to be reached by the users easily. I will add new tested games to the list every day...
I didnt add games that can work with spareparts or AKA fullscreentweak since most of these games has compatibility issues so if you have tested a game with full compatibility by spareparts tweak , just let me know...
Feedbacks from all of you are welcome so we can make a great compatibility list. Please mention Version of the Game that you want to inform...
All games in the list are tested with JMF Firmware on EURO TAB...

Dear bravogee,
If you have a rooted device, download MarketEnabler or MarketAccess from Market and change your provider to TMOBILE (US) to reach most of the games. Also you can google games for direct download from their creators websites.
Hope this helps...
Kind Regards
Thank you very much
I left Grave defense and pocket legends out by accident. These are also fullscreen.

Dear Ashvsaod,
Thanks for the feedback. Added to the list in da first port.
Kind Regards,
Honestly I think this list may be better suited for listing games to DON'T work, as there have been only a few that don't work as-is or with Spare Parts.
Here's just two that I can remember, since I left my Tab at home today.
Works-
SliceIt
Doesn't work- Touch input is off by an inch or so.
Unblock Me Free
Unblockme Free
(Those are two different games)
A few more:
Doodle Jump
Meteor Blitz
MX Moto

I strongly disagree.
An app that requires Spare Parts can not be said to "work" in full screen.
Spare Parts is an ugly hack, a hack that requires a wacky check, reboot, uncheck reboot process. A hack that can cause compatibility issues with other apps and games. Because Spare Parts is so cumbersome to activate, it's hugely tedious to turn it on for apps that need it, and off for apps it doesn't like. The entire reboot, check, uncheck, reboot process is required every time it's activated.
Only a tiny percentage of Tab owners even know Spare Parts exists, and fewer still will ever install the hack, even they shouldn't have to.
The sad truth is that Spare Parts is just making up for sloppy coding on the part of the authors of certain apps. There are an abundance of older, properly written apps that have always worked perfectly on the Tab's larger screen. It's just the poorly written apps that don't take full advantage of the Tab.
Any app that requires Spare Parts to work in full screen, is by definition, and app that Doesn't work properly in full screen.
Radiant and SpeedX 3D (both OpenGL games) work fine on the TAB and they run in full screen.

Yeah I reckon we don't include apps that need spare parts to work in the list. Also maybe worth mentioning whether the app can be found in the market or not

I really appreciate the feedbacks. Added to the list...
Kind Regards,
It is key that you don't get duplicates. Backbreaker us on the list twice.

Dear Ashvsaod,
Just realized it. Thanks for your attention.
Kind Regards,
Hoping some of you technical guys can help with this question.
I own an Inspire/DesireHD and was trying to understand how Android memory space works. Is all the device memory one pool and the ROMs partition it as needed, expanding to whatever size they require and leaving the remainder for cache/dalvik/RAM?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm running RCMix Kingdom .2 and it's larger than Capy's 6.1 version. Obviously this is attributable to Sense v.3's larger footprint. To compensate, I would be perfectly happy to remove some programs I never use like Teeter and Polaris Office since I own DocumentsToGo.
What I'm getting at is that if I wanted to reduce the ROM footprint to return more memory to user space for runtime and programs, how would one go about doing so?
Thanks in advance!
GPU(Graphical Processing Unit)
The GPU takes care of graphical rendering basicly it brings up the images you see on games faster. Most games dont require the activation of the GPU but some heavy duty games or apps might require it(gameloft games,Earth and Legend, etc). So basically if your device doesn't have a
GPU the images render slowly or not at all.
How does this effect U8120/U8110?(low end devices)
The U8120/U110 series isn't built withe a GPU therefore heavy duty games don't run or the run slowly or the images are all wrong. An example of a game that doesnt run properly is Fifa 10,if you run this game on a low end device with no GPU the game is either slow or the images and textures are messed up(usually the device is able to run the game but not render texture and/or images).
Can it be fixed
No not without compromises, there are apps that you can use to change messages going from the OpenGL driver(e.g Chainfire3D) to the the actual renderer.now if you dont have a GPU how do you use Chainfire3D?.The answer to that is you dont need a GPU to change what props up on the screen.Just install Chainfire and Install the Plugins. You also have to be able to edit the textures of the games via chainfire3D manually and even then the gameplay and/or image rendering isn't completely solid. That is what i meant by "compromises" but you can tweak the commands Chainfire sends out to your satisfaction to make a heavy duty game playable. You wont be able to play some games like most gameloft games due to the requirements(thats if you have a low-end phone like U8120/U8110)
If some low end phones dont have GPU how does it render images
The device basically uses it driver which isn't good if you have a small driver.Overclocking your phone does help alot but be carefull when overclocking.Other things that effect gameplay is Dalvik VM heap size of your device. For peope who dont know what the Dalvik VM is it is a Virtual Machine that the Android O.S uses to run android apks and to compile .class to .dex files.I will go into that another day.Basically the VM heap size you set dictates how much memory the Dalvik VM uses at a go before setting this take your devices total memory into consideration. So devices without GPU uses the memory and Driver to render images.
Hey...nice thread!
What settings do you recommend in CF3D?

Ya the unroll 32-bit would be the best option
which 3d games are good to play on vodafone 845/huawei u8120?or are there any 3d games which are ok?i have slykings update10v2
The U8120 is not really a low-end device!
HTC phone's have much even more bugs and problems for the price the U8120 or X3 is perfect!
Too bad if there's Android devices with no GPU at all, is there any solutions for this?

Try Andy , the compatibility is a little bit better.
Hi
Before I mean that applications and tweaks that will give them are the ones I've used, tested and have worked for me, so if you have that you know could be so kind as to comment as you lack have managed to control the use of RAM.
I also want to say sorry if my English is bad, I had to use the Google translator on the one hand and on the other my little knowledge in English, I'm sorry.
Not if you have noticed but in the Custom Roms of our device we overuse of RAM, this becomes more noticeable even Roms based on Lollipop, as can be CyanogenMod 12 where we can see that sometimes bubbles Messenger chat can be closed or the music is turned off, so I write this guide to explain how to control this use with some applications that truth to me I have worked.
-Apps:
The truth use applications to control the use of RAM is very embarrassing, since we are no longer in a device with 180MB of RAM, and have to use Tweaks or applications that optimize this, for some use some Tweak or application on this device is something good to optimize it a bit more, but we think 1GB of RAM and a 1.2 Ghz processor with 4 core.
To control the use of RAM I recommend...
Root Booster(FULL VERSION):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ram.memory.booster.cpu.saver
The truth is that this application achieving control the use of RAM on my device, but I had to buy the full version, you can use the mode solves this problem, in short, once you buy the application must be enabled mode more stability and activate (Required root to use this application, it is a bit obvious that the application is called root Booster).
AutoKiller:
Before knowing Root Booster using this application but really saw that I closed many processes necessary but the truth if I won a big improvement in the management of RAM, the truth if you run install I recommend you select the Ultimate mode.
-Tweaks:
Truth does not recommend it Tweaks init.d but the truth if they help as much as elsewhere in scrolling speed or other you run.
L-Speed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/tweak-l-speed-v1-0-02-02-2015-t3020138
This Tweak me if I worked well to improve the speed of scrolling and a little more open applications, RAM usage but saw no improvement truth in one or another section if that worked.
Now, this is the only tweak I can recommend for this device.
-Things not recommend:
Do not mix Tweaks:
Many would say that mixing Tweaks will gain greater speed, but not really. In some cases this may cause system instability, causing not work normally, can cause terrible lags or even a brick, do not think for mixing Tweaks will gain greater speed, if your system already works well with you Tweak to mix with more.
Do not mix apps:
I say almost the same as in the previous tip, if your device and works well with an application to modify that, the truth if mixed apps can cause applications to close or in some cases are playing something and that game middle parting closure.
Well, that's all I can tell you, as I said at the beginning of the post if you have any Tweak or application that worked them to control this might share? would help users much more control this big problem, I hope you enjoyed this post and wish them well controlling this great use of RAM in their devices,
Greetings.
