Click HERE to download the WMP Skin that matches the theme I have set up for these ROMs. The dialer, the Comm Manager and the WMP will all have the same style with this.
Just extract this to a folder and put it in your SD card. Then go to your Windows Media Player. When in your media player make sure to hit the back button to go to the player. Then go to Menu and then select Options. Then scroll over to the skin tab and choose the skin you just installed. Then put the phone into landscape mode and select the skin again and press OK.

is very fast and stable, install it on my htc wing.
just found a problem:
1. can not restart the phone, do it when the screen freezes and no longer log = O..
restart it many times and does the same ... I have to do when this happens is to reinstall the room ... I can clearly not be so = O

Okay, I think I fixed the problem. Please download again and re flash the ROM with the new download.
Throw away the first one you downloaded.
But if you're talking about the power button not working, that I know of. When you hold the power button it will say it is going to shut down, but then it doesn't.
This is because our Wings/Heralds can't handle Windows Mobile 6.5.5

What buttons are you pressing to make it restart?
To me, restart means that you press in the soft reset button on the left side, under the volume control, with your stylus.
I've flashed this ROM on my phone and it does soft reset..
So I am not sure what it is that you're having a problem with..
I mean youtube example when installing YOUTUBE cab. to complete the installation asks me to reboot to save the settings ... and select OK and never started again = S

I'm not sure which bar you'd like to change; if you take a screen shot (press Prt Scr on Keyboard) for me and (paste it into a paint program) you can circle which bar.
Then i'll tell you directions on how to change it to what you want.

the bottom tray bar in this rom, the one with the start button and the windows logo (in this rom is blue) and i will like to be able to change the color

I haven't tested the newest Opera, but Opera 9 and 10 should work if you install to main memory.

What are you looking to be different in WM Build 6.5.1 from 6.5.5?
nothing. i really want this rom but with 6.5.1 . when i installed the 6.5.5 version, my wing was really slow and didnt not want to work good. maybe because the wing cant handle 5.5
anyways, can you please downgrade this exact rom to 6.5.1?

In all honesty, there will be no change in speed. M2D is a heavy app and shouldn't of been even possible for the Wing with its 200MHz Processor.
It was made for the HTC Mega (Touch 2) which has 528 MHz and 512 MB ROM memory and 256 MB RAM memory (our Wings/Heralds only have 70 MB ROM and 56MB RAM memory).
So as you could see, there will be no point in me making this ROM in WM 6.5.1.
Also, I've had a friend do some benchmarks and he said this:

It is pocket plus plugin(the plugin is freeware & independent of whether pocket+ is installed or not). It's name is "spb toplay". Get it from spbsoftwarehouse.com.
I wish they posted what was improved in this ROM.

I dont think there is any improvement. It is using darkforce as its base with a couple of apps on the top of the core.
how did you do the new sms soft button...?
install "Newmenu" and you can make your own softbutton

Extended ROM unlock instability
Hi ,
I am having this problem with the extended rom unlocker. It shows the extended rom when the phone powers up but when i try to install any files to the extended rom or copy anything to the ext rom the files disappear after a soft reset. Have tried a multitude of utilities like ext_rom_unlock_trueffs1.cab , unhide_extendedrom.cab unhide_storage.cab etc.
uptill WM6 2.02... the extended rom used to appear as Extended_ROM2 in file explorer but in this version it appears as Extended_ROM or as Storage depending on the cab used to unlock. but in every case the data on the ext rom disappears after a soft reset.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.

It is "unhidden" but not unlocked.
Only use the "exe" which installs together with the cab.
So copy "uni_ext_rom_unlock.exe" to your sd card.
Soft or hard reset (if you have a double ext.rom)
and run this .exe ones to unlock your extended rom.

Hey there,
I've tried this already and tried reflashing with other older ext roms as well done a multitude of hard and soft resets but with this ROM and radio 1.15.00 somehow i just cant make things stored on the ext rom go past a soft reset. Programs installed on ext rom work fine till the universal stays on even installed blackberry RIM service , spb dairy and photo contacts on to it and they work fine but with a soft reset everything just vanishes.

I found a bug.. In landscape mode, the D-pad keys works as if the screen is still in potrait mode.

How bout crediting the author for his work which btw was made by taxist of 4pda.
Execelent ROM, very light.
One thing: Dont uninstall the Keyboard+ application, or youll be unable to write or sync. Also dont click in the bottom-middle link inside the keyboard+ option, it uninstalls it.
Took me 3 formats to figure that one out.

Yes, place a Rings FOLDER inside STORAGE like so:
\Storage\Rings
Then copy all wav/mifi/wma files you wan into there.
The sound sure is more tinkly now, and the camera CAB has a better resolution...this was a great update.

I could not encourage myself to test this ROM because while extracting files from RAR, i got this error:
! \Litev041extreme.rar: Invalid or corrupt authenticity information
Might be i will detroy my device if this ROM update fails at the end.

Well I think that is only an INFO and not a warning regarding the archive integrity.
BTW I have downloaded the rom with my ISDN (it took more than 2 hours) so this is my

I made it with WinRAR 3.8 Prof. So maybe an update helps??
Anyway, the archive itself is just fine!
Slow ROM
I tested the ROM, although it is named extreme lite but when used with toggle view Menu, it is quite slow as compared to other 6.1 ROMs like (from fireburned 1.1 or Hikey's ROM)
I reverted back to fireburned v1.1
Well, its not too bad. I used Gonzo's rose rom but left that too many hanging problems, I think he might not be available to solve the issues may be later. I switched to Extreme lite. Its quite good. I find some problems if those are solved I think it would be stable.
Problems..
1. Right Menu button works very slow and sometimes hangs. I get to see this in sms app. Folder manager, IE, dialer etc I mean mostly in basic windows application but not in third party apps.
2. Some of the applications loads very slowly and sometimes fails or hangs basically, Comm manager, Internet sharing sometimes connection item in settings.
I may get some more errors but I noticed this much only. I've tried to reset to device almost 10 times.
Can we get Dialer screen and volume screen as in Rose ROM? Please don't tell me to switch to Lite or other Rose Roms because I want to use the phone not to reboot always. Too much hanging issues.

I am not really sure what causes those problems, so unless I get struck by a flash of genius, there won't be an update soon. I don't have much time the next couple of weeks either. I just hope HTC will finally give us an official ROM...
@frauhottelman: do you think is possible to cook phone canvas,and volume control OEM packages into an WM 6.0 rom? I was thinking to add those 2 packages in the NEO 1.1 ROM...
Maybe adding the 19700 XIP or the 20279...

Yeah, I think it should be possible, unless they depend on something 6.1-specific, but I don't think so...

Sorry about that.. which version are you using? - The TribTitanium SD or the TribU2U RUU version -
I will download that version from here, flash it onto my phone and see what is going on with it.
I am using the TribU2U RUU version.
It is the best ROM I ever had. Except for that little issue. Maybe it is my fault...
Maybe I should try the SD-Version?
EDIT: I managed to get a connection via bluetooth. I try again via usb. Maybe it is my fault. I am sorry for that...
Well what I am going to do is test all of the ROMs I have out and try to see what errors they have on them. I'll do the Titanium RUU first then the Titanium SD second..
have you installed .Net 3.5 and then restarted also?

I don`t know why, but activesync is working now. But now I got an issue with Titanium Weather because it can`t connect anymore to accuweather...
Hi! I can't seem to access the internet through a Wi-Fi connection... It connects to the access point but when I start Internet Explorer it does not load any pages... My other devices works well through the access point... and it does work before I flashed this ROM (I was using an older version of this same ROM)...
I'm using the RUU version
my wing is working to sloww while using this rom .....

Okay, I tested the RUU and SD version of TribTitanium for myself and came up with no errors :-/
I was able to go through via the Comm manager and access the internet via the data connectin, the wlan connection, and active sync. I was able to connect my blue tooth head set on both versions as well.
I was also able to use the titanium weather also on both SD version and RUU version.
The way I installed my ROMs was first I flashed my device with the SD version first, then I restarted right away. Then I installed .net framework, which is on the first post, and then restarted. Then I installed the titanium weather.
I did this method for RUU version next as well and all is working well. I do apologize for those of who are having trouble, but I confirmed that it it not the ROMs..
is possible to know what programs and applications have this version? any image of the conn manager? I like to have the same conn manager I have now, but I don't know which version .. design is green .. XD..

I can not change ROM sd through, because I don't have an sd memory .. is possible change the ROM with flash center and ruu utilies?
You can pick up a really cheap memory card for less than 10 dollars now a days.. But, unfortunately, you can't flash with the ROMUpdateUtility.exe unless the ROM is larger than 50.1MB..
then I can't use this version?

Oooh, looks interesting. I might download it and flash it, 3VO Custom ROM is fun but can be a little annoying.
On startup there's a windows popup that says:
Error
Run FILEOP
\windows\Menu_FILEOP_End.txt
failed.
Device is still responsive, but the popup remains and obstructs most of the screen.

Okay, so It seems my Maple is stuck on the "Customizing" screen for some time now. I left it alone for 10 minutes, and it continued on that screen. I rebooted the phone, and it loaded upto the Home Screen, and then loaded the "Customizing" screen again. Is there a way to bypass this? I swear it's stuck in a loop!
i've just reflashed the rom n i swear i dont get any error.
forgot to mention, pls make sure hardspl 1.19 is flashed on ur device n flashing thru microsd method is highly recommended. i dont guarantee if this rom will work on other mapl*** variation as my device is mapl110(snap 521).
p/s: and this rom support UC also. it will fire \Storage card\SDConfig.txt as last runCC process
to skip the error : hold home key until quicklist pop up. use trackball to select task manager & terminate runcc ("error") process. but the configuration will be incomplete.

Same problem. Cleared everything with MTTY as well as flashed from the SD card as recommended, but stuck in a continuous "customizing" loop. Pity, because it looked like quite a good ROM from what I could see.

yes something is wrong, when customizing and why it is looping is because it says in an error message \windows\sprite_backup.cab is not found.
but i dumped the rom and it is there, the abfile, so i dont know what the issue is, might be something wrong in the runcc.lua file? could you check this monx? i used to follow your raphael roms so i know you will be a real blessing for the maple users!
or if anyone knows how to fix this i would be glad i tried to copy a new sprite back up cab to the windows folder and reboot hoping it would "see" this cab but no luck, so i think the error lies somehow in the set up.
anyhow, you guys probably know more then me
i fixed it after once set up, i wait until i am sure its finiched, i lock the phone wait for sleep, unlock and now i see a error message. I install a task manager and terminate runcc error message disappers. Then i edited the runcc.lua file and deleted the last two files it tries to install cabs from, i just left the operator one(first one). You must then next time manually install the cabs, but they are in the windows folder so just do that and it should be fine
