Good Work Djsystem
Please tell me how can install?
ok tomorrow I put installation instructions. but it is easy to just replace the system / framework files
Sent from my GT-P1000L using Tapatalk
Does not work on tmo stock tab. Do not install. I have been careful and waiting patiently for a good rom or something new to install to my tab but i hastily copied over these files and now will be reflashing my device for the first time back to the stock firmware. Thank gawd for roto's stock tmo firmware. Just hope i don't fubar my first flash.
this is not a rom is only one theme and apps that I not installed. original must be changed by the following inside the folder system / framework must be root
Lovely, I have modified it to work on P1000JPJK2

Did i mention that I thought it was a ROM? Even if I did think it was a rom how in the hell would I go about flashing files like framework-res.apk? Cmon now. I know exactly what this is and i backed up all of these files in my system/framework folder >> copied over the new ones, matched permissions using root explorer, and rebooted. And it FAILED. So, my advice to T-Mo us tab owners is do not replace these files.
Ok

You copied the framework using root explorer? That's why you failed. Use adb, or roll it into an update.zip and flash it.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Right on. The OP mentioned just replacing the files. I tried this same thing once on my nokia n900 running nitdroid and essentially got the same result. I just assumed it wasn't compatible with stock tmo firmware and wanted to potentially save people some headache.
even if you adb if fail.
From the Galaxy S I know that framework files can be incompatible between different firmware versions. Sometimes, just sometimes a modded framework file of a particular firmware version will work on another one. But mostly not, and mostly it causes some severe booting problems.
I really advice to download this only if you have the exact same firmware version.
BTW Looks very nice OP!
Looks good.
Are you guys doing this on an odex'ed base or is P1000JPJK2 deodexed?

Managed to find a copy of the new android market. Screenshot and download link below.
ENJOY!
There are 2 versions. One for NON Cyanogenmod ROMS and one for Cyanogenmod ROMS. The Cyanogenmod .apk MIGHT not work for everyone.
AND backup your old market .apk before updating. Just to be safe
No need to rename before installing. I didn't have to.
Those having force close issues can try the tip below:

Thanks in advance,
Nick
Managed to install but nothing changed for me :s
EDIT: nope..got the same messages as above xD

got it,ty ty!!!placed in App folder rebooted and it updated the store!!using desire hd mdj
In order to install, rename it to "Vending.apk" (without the quotes obviously) and replace the Vending.apk in system/app/ using adb or Root Explorer or whatever you would like. That's how I did it at least, using Root Explorer.
are there more apps in this market or is this just a theme
but i didn't neet to install it changed onto new one automatically ??? :S guyz??? plz goto android market and downlaod somthing and wait and see what happens... if not works than close up and do that again...
here every thing is working well. Thanks
so is this a theme or does this actually have more apps????
is official this app?
just did some research and this is an actual market update
New market cuts refund time to 15 min
Got it working on my device. Found the DL link in one of the other threads on here. It says to change to .apk from zip but it changed it automatically. Looks nice. Gonna start a few dl's to see how well it works. But it looks awesome so far.

Hi can make this mod for my Euro tab Roto-JME ? I upload the framework
Here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KN85OXHI
Ok somehow this blew up on me. I made a backup of my orginal framework-res.apk on my sdcard then mounted my /system as RW and using root explorer, copied the version provided for the JK5 tablet (thats my tablet). Root explorer was copying it halfway when it said my /system/framework had insufficent space. My tab became unresponsive and I rebooted it. I now only see the samsung logo and am unable tog et further. I rebooted into recovery (pressing power and vol up) issued adb shell and connected into my tab.
Problem here is that i see the $ instead of #. running su gives me permission denied. Anyone can advice how I can get root access while in recovery so i can push the apk again..or at least copy the backup i made back into the /system/framework.
I did a ls /system/framework while in user mode and cannot find framework-res.apk in there.
help...
Edit:
OK i managed to get root in recovery via rageagainstthecage and was able to push the modified framework-res.apk into /system/framework. Did a reboot and all is well again. Phew, that was a little scary
Anyway thanks for the battery mod. Nice work!

did you have root and busy box in your tab prior to the replacement?
Try to reboot again and if it did not help- reflash firmware without PIT and unselected re-partition. You will get your device back with no loss to your personal data.
Adapted from Dysgenic's original animations in this thread.
All I've done is changed the resolution from 480x800 pixels to 600x1024 pixels to make it fit the Galaxy Tab's screen better, all credit to the original author.
Use Root explorer to copy the file to /system/media/ and reboot to see it.

Did you put just the .ZIP file in there to overwrite the existing one as necessary, or did you extract it?
I placed the zip file in the in the directory. But there was nithing there to overwrite.

You have to delete some other system apps. Because My story uses 32MB.
Delete some apps in 'System/app' that you don't use.
You'll be able to copy my story after, when there will be enough free space.

But my one is almost stock. I barely installed any apps after installing ICS on the note. I even checked the property of the app folder - only 400mb used yet the number at the top in root explorer says 800mb used lol
Theres nothing really that i can delete in there at the moment
System apps are not the one you install from the play store.

Actually, when i installed my story from samsung apps(germany) it installed itself to data/apps. Not system/apps.

thank you sir for sharing
i installed from external sd works fine
Just installed it directly as an APK and it works great. The best part is that it installed on an AOSP ICS ROM and stylus works the way it should (pressure sensitive). None of the other apps I have used (Payrus and some others) seem to work based on pressure sensitivity.
I'm wondering when S-Note and S-Memo will be ported over to work on AOSP roms. Hope they can fiure out the dependencies.
Will it work on GBroms?
I didn't test it. But you can safely test it without problems for your phone.
Tried running on my Litening rom and this appear
Don't think it can run on GB roms.

As the title says, when I was on ICS, i had Google Calendar and its useful widget, but on JB, it is gone.
Is there any way to get it back??
Mine is there....Is the entire application missing? I'd think being on stock none of that stuff would be touched/modified.

The .apk must be installed normally or it should be put in /system??

you have to install it to the system. try using a file explorer or adb, i prefer adb cos its faster. if you use root explorer, set the permission to wr-r-r. and you put it in /system/app

Did tried that, but it didn't worked either. After some little investigation, Calendar.apk was in system/app the whole time. It seems the problem comes from CalendarProvider.apk. I went to system/app, tried to install CalendarProvider.apk, and it gave an error, telling me that the same app was installed, but with a conflictive signing.
Can anyone provide me with a clean, JB version of CalendarProvider.apk??
the internets is full of the GB and ICS version of that one...
Thanks in advance.

I will upload one as soon as I get home. And make sure you have a root explorer and move the app to the folder and set permission wr-r-r.
