You should have a google-usb_driver folder, and you need to be at revision 4.

Any reason why when i boot into my bootloader it doesnt finder the driver? I pointed to the revision 4 driver and still nothing , im on win 7 64
I have the same problem with xp. if i cant get it to work i will be forced to return this phone.
Guys it isnt difficult, its pretty strait forwards, and the drivers work on XP i know cuz i have it running
No sdk usb folder
I cannot find the folder anywhere.
(using windows 7 64bit)
SDK manager can detect the device from my USB.
But when trying to install the device software for the "android gingerbread" device under the device manager, there are no folders showing the sdk usb drivers.
Tried to edit path, still not showing the folder.

You have to open sdk manager.exe and download the usb drivers. The drivers are not included you have to download them using tjnsdk manager. Exe

The apx drivers are in the "One-Click-G2x-recovery-flasher-09-06.rar" file you downloaded. Here are the instructions on installing the apx drivers. These instructions are copied from the OP in this thread here, courtesy of TGA_Gunnman:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056847
After extracting the .rar file:
"Unlike a lot of Android phones out there the Nvidia Tegra2 chipset require additional drivers in Windows to support low level flashing.
Install APX Windows driver from APX folder.
(Windows x86 and x64 O/S Drivers):
****If you are running VmWare kill it.****
Remove the battery.
Plug in your USB cable to your PC.
Hold Volume Up and Volume Down at the same time keeping them held down.
Plug in the USB cable to your phone. (Keep the buttons held until Windows detects a new APX device.)
Open Device Manager in Windows and you should see "APX Device" listed with an error icon.
Right click on the APX device.
Select 'Update driver software'.
Select 'Browse my computer...'.
Select 'Let me pick...'.
Select 'Have disk'.
Browse to directory you extracted the *driver* software to: One-Click-G2x-recovery-flasher-09-04\APX.
Accept any warnings, including the big red alert (you may need to disable UAC).
Now in Device Manager under 'USB Controllers' you should have an 'NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for mobile devices'.
If not, uninstall the driver, reboot, rinse and repeat."
O my God thank you so much "!!!

I followed this guide from LG optimus 3d fourm
Step 1: Download SuperOneClick here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IKMS0QN3 then extract it.
Step 2: On the phone goto settings > Applications > Development > Turn USB Debugging on also turn on unknown sources.
Step 3: connect the phone to your pc make sure mass storage is turned off once connected wait for the drivers to install
Step 4: Run SuperOneClick as admin and click on Root, sometimes it can take a few minutes once it's done restart the phone now you should have superuser app on the phone.

MY ERROR

when running superoneclick and hitting root.
the follow device does not have drivers installed:
android phone USB\VID_1004&PID_618E
Would you like to me forcefully install an Android ADB Interface driver for this device?
If I hit "no" it begins the root and the program freezes after step 2.
I haven't hit yes because I don't know if I this is a good thing.
Unplug your phone from your computer. Download a program called usbdeview. Open the program and it will allow you to see all of the drivers installed on your computer. Delete everything associated with your phone. Make sure USB Debugging is checked and plug your phone back into your computer. This will do a fresh install of all drivers and should also include the drivers for ADB. To check this, open up a CMD window in platform-tools in your SDK folder and type in "adb devices". A serial number for your phone should come up, and if it does, you are good to go.
Have you got lgs drivers installed on pc? I had same problem and had to reinstall driver.

I used the Nexus Root ToolKit to install the Google Nexus ADB Interface driver. You must likely find either by googling them or find them on this site.
I am running win8.1 x64 and installed the driver from SDK. The above methods should also work for fastboot, but the device will not be seen if it is in stock recovery. The driver will have to be manually configured. I did not bother with the custom driver and installed TWRP from fastboot. I received the 4.4.2 OTH update and TWRP flashed automatically.
You have to disable driver signature enforcement. Google it for tutorials.

You have to choose the "Let me pick my driver" option and look in the Android folder. I'm assuming that you have already installed the SDK kit.

You can't view your sdcard files because they have been deleted when you unlocked the bootloader!

Oh you mean your PC isn't recognizing the device?
Make sure android sdk with platform tools and usb_driver is installed on your PC and then,
Follow these steps:
1. Connect your phone to your pc and head over to control panel---device manager and select your phone from there.
2. Right click on it and select update driver software.
3. Now select "Browse my computer for driver software"
4. Put this path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver" (C:\Program Files (x86) may differ on your pc depending on where you have installed the SDK)
5. Put a tick on "Include subfolders" and click next.
6. The drivers will be installed again and ADB will recognize your device.
Make sure you accept the authorization request popup on your device when you connect to your PC.

After installing android sdk, open it make sure it has downloaded the usb_driver.
I've extracted the stuff and when i click the sdk manager cmd appears and disappears ,nothing happens thereafter
With Windows 8.1 you have to install the Universal Naked Drivers for it to work (for me at least) - The LG drivers wouldn't take on my laptop for some bizarre reason.
I don't know how to install it, all I see after downloading and upzipping is "MTK_Qualcomm_ADB" folder, inside are "install.vbs" file, "uninstall.vbs" file, Qualcomm and MTK folders. I I tried to click on "install.vbs" file, nothing happend, so I tried to install through Windows Device Manager, using the ".inf" file in the Qualcomm folder, but failed. I've just bought my phone for 1 week and I am new to Android, so don't curse me...
P/S: I read this instruction on reddit and got stuck in step 3.
1. Plug device into computer, wait for "normal" MTP drivers to install. You'll probably get an error about the ADB interface driver failing.
2. Open the notifications dropdown and select "Connected as a media device" (was the default for mine).
3. Select "Drivers CD-ROM" from the USB Computer Connection list.
4. Open My Computer and open new "USB Driver" drive (was E on my machine).
5. Double-click Setup.vbs, then click Install on the "Android USB Driver Manager" screen. (Click Uninstall to uninstall the driver)

Either 1) Plug in the device and when it prompts for a driver THEN point it to where the inf is or 2) install the driver zip mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/general/want-to-able-to-install-ota-updates-t3163745
Thanks. I did it!
