MyTouch 4G Rom Rear And Front Cam Fix.....

I got the rear cam (8mp) & the front cam for the MyTouch 4G Rom for the Evo working....i need testers and someone to send me their gmail so they can post the link.....i cant because im away from a computer...... ....no camcorder....sorry....All credit goes to IncDoes, EchoSide, and SNQ.....

i've tried several cam fixes for my evo. this one works really well. no video recorder tho. i get a fc. has that been reported on this yet?

i need an opinion. which version of the port, in your opinion, is the best so far with the least problems? in every one I've tried, location FCs when i try to access premium navigation.

I'm currently running IncDoes Desire Z 1.1....very fast and stable in my opinion....and I have flashed all desire hd roms....don't forget to download the flash patch and front cam fix tho if your gonna try it....

interesting. i got it to work originally. tried a few other roms. now i came back to the desire z1.1 and i'm getting FCs with the front/rear cam patch. any ideas?

edit. ok. that one works perfectly but it's not front and rear. so i still lose a cam.

My cam opens but won't take any pics? And the dialer won't take ant inputs on a call?

The ZIP in post 58 of this thread worked great on my Evo, plus you can get a ZIP of the old market in that post in case the new one doesn't work for you.

this sucks anyone have a fix for us cm users

i can get it to open for bout 2 seconds if i clear data first then open but it really doesn't help lol

yep FC like a mofo with CM 6.1 stable

I'm on CM 6.1 Final, and it flashed just fine. Haven't had any FCs at all so far.

Got it. Flash the file in the link above but don't delete vending prior. Lworking like a charm. Idk how I feel about it yet tho

Has anyone tried the OMFGB rom for G2X yet?

They have built three nightlies of this ROM. Development got halted but dev says they are going to get back on it soon. Says anything posted on website should be ok to flash. It looks interesting and I might give it a go as the first custom rom I try on my stock rooted GB G2X. If anyone has experience with this rom please reply to this thread.

I tried this one a while back when they first announced it. Its pretty cool. God mode is awesome and the launcher is smooth. Its cm7 based so you have all the customizing and access to the theme engine. It was stable for me but the only reason I didn't stuck with it was because of the hault in development for it.

I talked to guy in charge of it on Twitter. I think development on it going to start back up soon. Maybe I give it a try?

I think they halted the dev because of the issue in AOSP repo just like faux.

He said there was some hitch that halted development, but I expect them to start back up on it soon.

What's the chances of a MIUI rom?

Thinking of either keeping the MT4GS I picked up or getting a Sensation, I like MIUI as a rom but noticed there aren't many roms here. I know the bootloader is getting unlocked but curious if anyone knows of one being developed or in the works? Seems a little light on the rom development side but most phones start out that way. I remember when I had a G2 and there weren't many there either.

We need a stable cm official and source merged first...wait since kornyone is working on CM9

You're better off with AOSP ROMs.

That's a shame, this phone has great potential but doesn't seem like a lot of people are taking to it. I know it hasn't been out long but really a good device over the G2 in my opinion for the keyboard

I agree with you. TDJ made my 4G rock. Then my hardware buttons decided to stop working. Tmobile sent me a replacement that had the bad screen twice so they sent me this slide. Staying stock until a rom comes out that works for me. And I hate stock. Might break out my vibrant for a while.
