Ive reached step 8 karhoe's guide. When i type info 2 in teratermpro it says
getdeviceinfo=0*00000002
+ SD Controller init
- SD Controller init
+StorageInit
CDM55 failed
HTCSSuperCID ' HTCE
Cmd>
i was wondering if its alright to continue or is there a problem when it says CDM55 failed?
This only says that there is no memory card detected - you can go ahead!

Hi!
I read the wiki page and I searched on the forum but I did not find answer.
When I try to unlock the cid (I have a G3), the cmd screen give me this message:
"Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse? try restarting your device, or restart activesync"
What i have to do?
Thanks to all.
copy the files "EnableRapi" and "Cert_SPCS" to your device and run them (you can find them inside the folder "Utils".
Then run the "LokiwizMsl.bat" from your computer again and it should work.
This trick was already described in the sim unlock part of the wiki
but i've updated the cid unlock wiki with the info.
Hi!!
I still have that message. Could you check if i'm doing something wrong?
This is the guide from the wiki:
"Do the following :
- Copy the cab's from the Utils folder in the Lokiwiz03a.zip file to your Prophet and execute them (There are two files : "Cert_SPCS.cab" and "EnableRapi.cab")"
Sorry but this is not very clear because:
1) there aren't file called "Lokiwiz03a.zip"
2) Need I to do hard reset (or a soft reset) after execute that 2 files?
Please help me, I'm not the only one with that problem.
Thanks to all.

Sorry thats the file from the sim unlock part, I've changed the wiki
the files you need are in pdamobiz.com_downgrade_and_unlockcid.rar
Hi!!! Thanks for your update!
I run the 2 files from my machine without hardreset after that.
That solved the Downgrade.bat operation (i did not receive the "itsutils.dll error") but it didn't work with the Cidunlock.bat command.
With the cidunlock.bat command I had the classic error and this one too from the cmd screen:
"CopyFileToTFFS(acidunlocked.bin:0, 0, 00010000)
ERROR: ITWriteDisk - internal error"
After that I made the last experiment.
I tried to update the rom without unlock the cid and I discovered with the Italian Prophet you don't have to unlock the cid.
So I solve my problem!! Thanks to all!
I hope to help someone with this post!
Easy fix to the "Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version..." error
1. Use prapi.exe to query value of 4097.
D:>prapi.exe -q -p 4097
Default is "2"
2. Use prapi.exe to set value of policy 4097 to "1"
D:\>prapi.exe -p 4097 1
Explanation :
4097
0x1001 RAPI Policy The Remote API (RAPI) policy restricts the access of remote applications that are using RAPI to implement ActiveSync operations on mobile devices.
0 ActiveSync service is shut down. RAPI calls are rejected.
1 Full access to ActiveSync is provided. RAPI calls are allowed to process without restrictions.
2 Access to ActiveSync is restricted to the SECROLE_USER_AUTH (User Authenticated) role. RAPI calls are checked against this role mask before they are granted. ( default )

Hi all,
Does anyone have an original ROM from an O2 XDA IQ. With the CID of HTCSO2__0501
Any help at all would be appreciated.
Thanks.
you can download original Rom from htc website
It seems that whoever tried to upgrade this phone didn't SuperCID it before trying.
So its just sitting at the bootloader.
I've tried getting a ROM, and changing the CID on it. After going through all the flash upgrade, etc, it still wont boot.
if I do an 'info 2' This is what I get
Code:
GetDeviceInfo=0x00000002
+ SD Controller init
- SD Controller init
+StorageInit
CMD55 failed
+ SD Controller init
- SD Controller init
+StorageInit
CMD55 failed
HTCSO2__0501 ‘©öIHTCE
a 'format BINFS' says
Code:
Cmd>format BINFS
Not allow operation!
Any hints on how to turn this phone into more than just a paperweight?
Thanks.
Reset Rom
It works on HTC cruise and i hope it work for you :
into teraterm tape :
set 16 0
task 8
It will reboot your smartphone and launch your old rom
Good luck
Thanks for the tip, but it seems my bootloader doesn't like it...
Code:
Cmd>set 16 0
Cmd>task 8
Invalid command : task 8

Hey Guys,
First of all i want to say i`ve read many posts in the ..
[GUIDE] How to downgrade 1.7x/1.8x/2.x to 1.32.405.6 .. thread and i saw that there are some other guys which have the same problem like me.. but i couldn`t find an answer to the Problem till yet..
I elate all the requirements and did the Gingerbread step by step ( Software Version 2.36.207.16)..
My microSD is a Goldcard an i have the PD98IMG in my root directory on my SD Card..
When i follow the cmd steps it runs very well till i get to the part where the '#' should come because of the root access.. but it doesn`t .. instead of the '#', i have a '$'.. although i did all the chmod steps for access and so on.. when i try the next step " ./data/local/tmp/GingerBreak".. my console looks like this(attached) and stands still with the " vold: 1232 GOT start: 0x00014360 GOT end: 0x000143a0" line.. because of this i can`t execute the Step 3 lines while hanging in the loop.. so when i restart my DHD in Bootloader Mode i get the Failure "Main Version Older!" because of not doing the Step 3..
I hope u can help me .. thx for every comment..

I've somehow managed to wipe out my stock Recovery partition/files. I can do normal booting fine and I have root.
My question was answered by some helpful folks in the Q&A section here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/help/fire-hd8-7th-gen-recovery-completely-t3918934 so I thought I'd re-post the solution.
-----
Here's the fix:
Grab the recovery.img below (reminder: this is for 7th Gen HD8) - thank you again NFSP G35 for posting this!
Via Linux, connect your Fire and copy the IMG file to your sdcard directory. Next, open a Terminal and start adb shell.
Next, here is the terminal command (via root):
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/mtk-msdc.0/by-name/recovery
The output was this:
34816+0 records in
34816+0 records out
17825792 bytes transferred in 1.159 secs (15380320 bytes/sec)
==
I then did a full power down, and then successfully started it up again into recovery.
Just to be thorough with my troubleshooting, at the bottom of the screen in orange letters, I had the following error:
E:Error in /cache/recovery/last_kmsg
(No space left on device)
===
So, after a little bit of searching XDA, I selected wipe cache partition, rebooted again into recovery, and the error is gone now.
That's it! I hope this helps someone else!
My sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all who helped contribute and support this solution.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
