PQI 16GB Secure Digital High Capacity SDHC Card (Class 2), Model 6AEE-016GSR35A-13

I have a Sandisk 32GB class 2, works fine. class 2/4/6/10 are the WRITE speeds. I believe read speeds are the same, if my info is correct.

will a 16 gb class 2 card work well with our phones and custom roms im currentkey using an 8gb class 6?
a class 2 should be theoreticaly slower than a class 6 that's about it. N1 should work with SDHC cards to 32GB.
Picking a card is a tricky bussiness, speeds are so different. I got a 8GB class 4 one and it works above 5 MB/s transfer rate so I'm happy.. the original class 2 card that comes with the phone had up to 3 MB/s.
If you got a chance to test the cards out or find some tests on the internet about the speed, you should definitely read up on it.
I got a Transcend card.

Micro SDHC Compatibility

Hi,
This may be a silly question for some but i've searched around and i still cannot find a definitive answer anywhere with regards to micro sdhc cards being used in the samsung galaxy s. If i was to purchase a micro sdhc card am i going to need some form of adapter? I only ask because most places i shop around only sell micro sdhc cards.
It was my understanding that the galaxy s only had a micro sd slot which is what is currently confusing me.
Thanks.
it supports up to 32 GB of microSD
anything larger than 4 GB = SDHC support
Galaxy S supports Micro SDHC.
(Allgamer basically said that, just in a slightly roundabout manner).
I'd like to know (please), whether the device can perform all functionality such as record hd and playback 720p movies over dlna from a class 2 card? I want to order a sandisk 16gb card, but would save the pennies on a class 4, if a class 2 performs well.
you could still get a class 6 16GB cheaper than getting a Class 2 16GB Sandisk, if you buy from other brands like Transcend (excellent), Adata, OCZ, Kingston, etc....
If it helps, I'm using an old class 6 Transcend 8GB. Bought for a micro DVcam (hence the need for class 6) last year and think it was around £10 then - possibly cheaper now?
You can get a 8 GB SDHC from DealExtreme.com for < $20 any day of the week.
Lexar Secure Digital 16GB class 10, 133X
How about this one?
Lexar Secure Digital 16GB class 10, 133X
Tip: SDHC
Size (MB): 16384
Rate (MB/s): 20MB/s
Class 10
Is Lexar a good name for memories?
I am currently using 4 GB Micro SDHC card with SGS.It is my old phones (HTC HD Mini) Micro SDHC card and it is working great.
I just bought this Wintec 16GB class 10 from Newegg.com... now whether it's an actual class 10 that's to be determined cause it's in the mail. But for $30 you at least get 16GB.
anyone try a-data 32gb class 10?
I'm curious if anyone try a-data 32gb class 10?
half the price of other 32gb cards.
the reason I ask is many folks report issues with hd cams.

not that i know of, so far all the confirmed legit SanDisk 32Gb has been Class 2
some places advertise they have Class 4 SanDisk 32Gb microSD but.... the picture and the price listed are those of a Class 2
some people have confirmed the Class 2 SanDisk 32Gb microSD can write 4Mb/s but that was on a new empty disk test
i would like to see some test done on 60% full 32Gb Class 2 SanDisk microSD to see if it can sustain a Class 4 write after half full, being a Class 2
check this review link http://www.testfreaks.com/blog/review/review-of-kingston-class-4-32gb-microsdhc-card/
should buy Kingston or Sandisk 32GB MicroSD for my Samsung GT-i9000 Galaxy S
or any other brand?

How ?? A 720p video at maximum quality usually takes around 1.5 ~ 1.8MBps, so a Class 2 (2MBps guaranteed write speed) in theory should be quite sufficient, at least with my Class 2 cards I haven’t had any trouble recording 720p video. The Sandisk 16GB Class 2 I have can be written to at a minimum constant speed of 8MBps (has around 4Gigs of Data on it already). And the Nokia branded (not sure about the actual brand) 8GB Class 2 which I got with my previous Nokia phone can be written to at 4MBps + (has 7Gigs of Data already). So IMO as long as you go with a name brand you should be able to get more than 2MBps writing speed which should be enough for 720p video.
You might get better speeds when transferring large files to your phone, but how often do you do that ?? And if you do that over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth like I mostly do, it won't matter at all. Spending on anything above class 6 (e.g Class 10) IMO is a total waste of money. I use a class 6 on my DSLR to record 1080p video, haven't had any issues with it so far. So I hardly think Galaxy S can exhaust a Class 6 card, or even a branded Class 2.
video is a secondary use
i use it mainly for applications and data transfer (portable hard drive), the faster the better, the less noticeable lag, and speeds up Titanium Backup quite considerably

The recent batch of SanDisk microSDHC cards (seen here in Brussels in Media Markt and Fnac) has Class 2 marking changed to Class 4 (8, 16 and 32GB). They have exactly the same packaging down to part numbers. That's mine for example: http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ping_ling/android/microsdhc.jpg
And here's something on it http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Mobile...ught-new-card-is-this-fake/td-p/189102/page/2

Kingston 32gb class 4 vs sandisk 32gb class 2

hey guys... how does a kingston 32gb class 4 compare to the sandisk class 32gb microsdhc card?
in terms of performance? i know kingston is a reputed brand....but sandisk usually ranks quite high in the memory card dept....
sandisk may be good now but their 16gb were pure trash.. i will never buy another sansdisk after i had 4 16gb cards fail on 3 diff phones..
i now use a-data 16gb class 6 cards.. never had a failure.
I just got a SanDisk 32GB card in an AT&T branded packaging from ebay for $70 shipped. I didn't want to risk buying Sandisk packaging or bulk packaging at lower price due to too many fakes. The AT&T branded packaging and the Verizon branded packaging are guarantee legit as it's a regional packaging only available in the U.S. After receiving the card, I tested it with H2testW 1.4 The performance is 5.47MB/s write and 14.8MB/s read. The total test time is a little over 2 hours and 7 minutes and it passed as a legit 32GB MicroSD card. This is easily a class 4 card. I read benchmarks that the Kingston's 32gb write speed is slower than Sandisk but the read speed is faster. I do notice one flaw that I was not able to flash the ROM from this card. I copied the same file to a 2GB card and was able to flash.

transcend, SanDisk or Samsung

Ok I am about to replace the stock 8GB Samsung card and my major requirement is to get Class 6 card and 2nd, to get 16GB.
I am between:
1) Samsung (8GB max class 6)
2) SanDisk (16GB Class 6)
3) Transcend (16GB Class 6)
I tend to trust Samsung better but it offers only 8GB. Samsung clearly described read and write transfer speeds.
On the other hand, Transcend & SanDisk websites don't state transfer speed and I don't just trust the Class 6 logo because I benchmarked my Samsung OEM Class 2 card with a Kingston 8GB Class 4 and the Samsung Class 2 was proved to be faster than Kingston. So, I'm not buying Kingston for sure although I have the channel to get them cheaper.
Has anyone compared the 3? At least I compared Samsung with Kingston and I know Kingston isnn't a good choice. I would like to see similar comparisons between the 3 and also trusted places to get them since eBay and Amazon are full of fake cards.
bos bais philei mou?
i would suggest the sandisk, transcend are dellia skada, the samsung is good, but not quite as good as the sandisk
Thnks my firend,
moreover, I notice that nowhere online (in UK) I can find SanDisk 16GB Class 6 micro sdhc.
A few shops give misleading info as they place a class 6 image in the outside category but inside the specs, they either don't mention or some state class 4 so I can't trust any of them.
Now I don't know who not to trust eBay & Amazon or authorized resellers with misleading specs.

if you buy from amazon themselves, it is fine, but the resellers are all fakes
try play.com - but sometimes the class isnt what it says, ive paid for class 4 and got class 2
I have a 8GB class 6 transcend and works fine on desire HD
It seems that ony Transcent has 16GB Class 6 micro sd. (Out of the 3 brands)
SanDisk has them only on their website but not available anywhere.
I'll have to decide between Smasung 8GB Cl6 or Transcent 16GB Cl6.
There’s been various tests & reviews online that more or less always show Sandisk coming out on top and most often delivering much more that what the class promises.
I’ve been using an 8 gb Sandisk class 6 for more than a year (first in Desire, then in DHD) – And switched to a 32 gb Sandisk class 2 a few months ago – No discernable difference in my opinion – Of course benchmarks will tell you otherwise, but they’re … benchmarks.

About sandisk delivering much more of what the class promises, i can't agree more with you.. True though, i've bought sandisk class 2, but the performance is more than my class 4 pendrive sd card.. pendrive brand sucks hard.. i'll never buy other except sandisk..
This guy in the post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11493723&postcount=9954 tried one from ebay and says its real. 16GB Sandisk Class 10

It's not SanDisk but generic no-name. I wonder if it will really satisfy the class 10 requirements in a micro card since there is no other sinilar from the known brands.
I'd say go for Sandisk. I have a class 4 SDHC microSD. I know it's only 4gb, but it's superior to any other card i've seen. It has write speeds of 20-25 mb/s, and read speads of 50+! Lol it outperforms my dad's class 10 16gb :S I thought that all class 4 cards have similar speeds, so I bought a Samsung 16gb class 4...it writes at 3mb/s
I don't know if this card is unique or if other Sandisk cards are just as fast, but my experiance with Sandisk is quite good
I agree about SanDisk, i have a class 2 8GB and write speed is 7MB/s
The Samsung class 2 8GB that came with my DHD has write speed of about 3MB/s.
I advice against samsung, on my DHD it was in bundle and now it is died after only a life month
Good Sandisk class 2 is sometimes better than other class 6...
i use a Kingston 32gb class 4 card and it works like a charm. Never had problems with Kingston cards.
Lexar class 10 32GB and Patriot class 10 32GB already in the market.
You can find Lexar at amazon and patriot at newegg.
Finally, although I am convinced about SanDisk, I chose Samsung Samsung Plus8GB class 6. The main reason is that it is much cheaper and I saw some performace benchmarks from another member here some time ago which were very impressive and also I could not find a trustworthy place from Internet to buy Sandisk which has been one of the major targets of replicas. Their support also hasn't convinced me because they never replied to some pre-sales questions I sent them. I don't doubt about the superior quality they have though.
We'll see.
Do you get fast read and writes with just a class 6, no lags or slowdown?

Class 10 Micro SDHC Card 8GB 16GB 32GB

I have used the 8GB and the 16GB version and I must say I am impressed. Write speeds are as they stated in the specs 14-17 MB/s depending on the type of file you are transferring. These are impressive numbers for a Class 10 even. Most makers just make sure it hits 10 MB/s and that is it.

These come in handy if you are using the Camera Mod with higher bitrates and more data per second to save...
I can upload some screenshots of the speed test results if someone wants to see...
I already bought the 16gb version of this card and i must say, it is really fast. i copied the files from my "old" card to the adata with around 16 mb/s. sd tools says the old card can write 5 mb/s, the new one writes 12mb/s, its absolutely amazing
So tempting, looking at reviews on Newegg and then theres this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-SD-SD...533036?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a669aef6c
with proof image test.
