HTC Pure Wallpaper? - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

Hey guys, im wondering if HTC pure can have picture set as wallpaper? instead of the default one showing AT&T icon at the background...I tried to set a picture as wallpaper but no luck..

Are you talking about the background image in touchflo (tabs)? If so, I recommend trying HDWalls which works perfectly on my manila 2.1 and is very easy to use as well.

Thanks for that pal, Thanks

No problem! Hope it works like you want it to.

[Req] Wallpaper or Theme

Ok, I found this screenshot and would like to have the theme or wallpaper. The weather looks really cool on it and it fits the theme, no matter what weather icon gets displayed.
It could be a TSK or a wallpaper only. Does anybody know where to get it?
It is a theme, the weather icons are part of the HTC Home Plug In. One has nothing to do with the other.
I know that, I own a Polaris...
It's not forcibly a whole theme, it could be a backgound only too.
However, what I meant to say: the HTC Home weather icons match the theme, they blend in really well with the background as if they were a part of the theme. Anybody knows where to get this theme/background?
The wallaper ist a Vista-Style's one. It's very hard to find exacty that one. I have found a similar wallpaper:
Hope you like it too?

HQ Wallpaper question

is it possible to have a high quality wallpaper on sense without installing HDwallpaper + patch?
I don't want to screw the taskbar and the bottombar and still want to have a high quality wallpaper on my htc.
is that possible
currently I'm using xannytech's evo 1.3 (6.5.3) which also has maxmanila cooked in and it has the new rhodium sense 2012 on it.
anyone can help?

To answer your question, no, its not possible.
However, with HDWall it is possible to do just the wallpaper and leave the slider, the taskbar, and the bottom menu bar all as they currently are.
I had a play about with that HQ wallpaper thingy, but couldnt find out how to change just the wall paper. I will have to have another fiddle.

You need to go into the config and untick the checkbox that says something about taskbar and menubar (sorry - I'm not running the app, just going off memory. It's something like that - you'll see it, I'm sure).
You can then save the config options you have so you don't have to do it again.
I obviously have the same taste as you, when it comes to this particular thing, because I hate the look of Sense with the top and bottom bars showing the wallpaper.
Once you get it, I know you're gonna love HDWall

Home screen wallpaper

I am decorating my HD2 with gothic style wallpaper. I applied the same wallpaper onto the lock screen and home screen, the one on lock screen display perfectly with high resolution and detail, very sharp and bright. However the same wallpaper displayed on home screen is very poor in quality, blur, flat and not in the correct scale.
Is there any specific size i need to crop the wallpaper to inorder to have it display correctly on the home screen? Thanks

480 x 800
Search for HDWall, also apply HQ Wallpaper Patch for your Manila version.

Sorry, i am not sure about what jive means but when you create a wallpaper with HDWall (it is a cab) is for all backgrounds / tabs of Sense.

Jive = work.
is that means simply cropping or creating a 800 x 480 px picture on photoshop will not display correctly when I set it as Home screen wallpaper on HD2? I change the wallpaper by going:
Menu > Home Wallpaper > Weather Wallpaper > (my wallpaper file)
Does it make a different if I had Cookies Home tab and editor installed? I am running a stock rom. Or it is a must to create the wallpaper with the HDWallS and install the HQ Wallpaper Patch for your Manila inorder to have it display correctly?
Thanks~
It doesn't matter the software you use to create a wallpaper, it just has to be 400x800 to fit the whole screen. After that you create a cab by using HDWall and it will make every tab with the same background, HDWall also makes the wallpaper from the top to the bottom (no curtains), remember, install HQWallpaperPatch (the right one for your manila version) to get high quality background in you screen.
Of course, when you have a .jpg or .png file you just copy it to My Documents/My Wallpapers (i don't know if that is the right name in English) and then from your Today screen you can go to Configuration -> Personalize -> LockScreen background and change to whatever you want.

Doesn't matter, when creating a cab with HDWall you don't need BG4All anymore, no need to uninstall.
Rgds,
thanks! I now have installed the patch and created the cab with HDWall. Home screen displayed the wallpaper perfectly now, though seems to be a bit complicate method to have it displayed correctly. Think I need to spend some time getting know HDWall to use it properly.
Is that means I will have to create the cab on a computer each time when I want to change the wallpaper and no alternative method to change it directly like other phones ususally do? Do I have to unstall the current cab before installing the new one?
thanks for your clear explaination. cheers!

No, you do not have to uninstall first, when installing another one your device will uninstall the previous one at first so no worries.
You can also try Bwizard: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681341
Another possibilty is changing background wallpaper directly by going to Configuration -> Personalize -> Today Home Screen Background but this way it will only change your Today screen, when you want the same wallpaper in every tab you will have to install BG4All (search for it) and probably a couple of small applications to remove top and bottom curtains.
It's up to you, hope it all will help you.
Rgds,

Use HDWALL else in CHTe use the option of "skin taskbar and softbar" and then reset.!!
check this page too...
Thank you for the answer, but I guess neither one thing does not work, it is me that I could use wallpaper 1440x800,
Let use CHT 2.0
mENU -> wallpaper -> taskbar : choose image 480x800 . SR
again so that I know I am not so inexperienced
so that I could do so at 1440x800 wallpaper will not find anything, one time I read that it somehow gave the transcription of some of 32.DLL, Max Sense
never got it to work with 1440. sorry. only worked on the central pane, then was off.
Could someone create a taskbar that would be transparent icons?
I mean it, I do not want no taskbar, and so I would be superimposed wallpaper
I want it to look like the picture
