Fancy Widget without the clock? - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

Can it be done? I'd love to see a Fancy Widget theme where it was just the weather portion and a transparent background, that would be amazing How do you even go about theming fancy Widget?

I can theme the widget but exactly how for you want it? It's gunna have a pretty big space over the weather.... I can also remove all the backgrounds including the clock and just have the floating sun/moon and weather info.... let me know.

Just that highlighted portion would be perfect, with the tranparent background as shown, thanks

you just need to resize it with LPP. the widget thinks the images are still there so it still its normal size.

But I don't have Launcher Pro Plus or ADW launcher, as you can see from the gui, I'm running MIUI

the verison of fancy widget you have has the weather over the time? i could do the same to yours if you send it to me, but still the same problem, your gunna have empty space under the weather. so depends on how high you want the weather to float. middle with mine or up high with yours...

I'd like it to be high like mine, I have the fancy widget thats on the Market

post yours or send it to me and i'll do it for you. if you post it, just put it in a zip cuz you cant post apk's for some reason. or pm me for my email.

There you go, had no problem uploading an .apk

the apk you posted is like the one i posted. it's not the one on your screen shot.

It's the .apk installed on my phone, I'm not quite sure what you want then I guess
edit: If you're referring to the one on my phone being transparent that's because Fancy Widget gives you the option to make the background transparent.

the clock you have on the screen shot has the weather over the time. the one you sent me looks like the regular sense clock with the weather under the time. do you have the paid version? cuz i think with the pro version, you are able to change the clock format. Sorry!!!!!
i'll try one more method that might work.... i'll get back at ya in a bit.

I have the free version, it came stock with the weather at the top and not the bottom

i was able to put the moon/sun higher but the info isn't budging. i think it's gunna be an xml edit and i haven't figured out how to mess with those yet... but heres what i got so far. maybe someone who knows xml can finish it.... sorry!!
View attachment weather.apk

Awe, darn. Thanks anyways.

Anyone else have any ideas for this?

The pro version has just a weather widget. Looks like that is what you are looking for.

Are you sure this couldn't just be themed without the clock?

Alright, I've themed Fancy Widget to get rid of the clock:
But as you can see the date still appears at the bottom, does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Bump?.....

[REQ] Smaller HTC Clock/Weather Widget + Flip

Having an HD2, I simply loved what Cookie has down with the look and feel of the UI, my only problem is the phone just sucked, lol. Ok, that was too much, my bad you HD2 owners browsing, but I really like how Cookie made a smaller version of the clock/weather widget for the homescreen. Here is a pic, outlined in red of course lol.

Here is some pics of Home++ clock/widget
Please does anybody know how to get these 2 working on Android?
Unsure of the name of that program , but you can test out :
I find it almost like the HTC Clock only smaller.

5x7 Rosie - WARNING: No Widget Mods!

This is just a simple tweak to Myn's Sexier Rosie that gives a 5x7 workspace. I have NOT made the standard edits to the various HTC widgets, however - it is more intended to be used in conjunction with Desktop Visualizer and other similar widget programs. HTC Widgets will be truncated and overly small unless edited to fit the 5x7.
So if you like Launcher Pro or other similar launchers, but want the speed of Rosie and don't mind working without 5 launcher bar buttons, hereya go.
As a side note, if anyone has an idea on how to program 5 launcher bar buttons in to Rosie, please contact me, I'd love to chat.
-MDM
<edit: I should probably mention that the rosie graphic included here was designed by DG4FREE, and uses my Steel on Glass text icons.>
Sounds cool can't wait for widget mods.
I really want to try this; but how do I install it?
I tried mounting system as r/w through SUFBS, but no go.
Do I need to push it via adb or something?
Thanks!
UPDATE: I tried adb push to system/app ... but now I don't seem to have Rosie at all...

Hereya go. Again, this is Sense, not Sense 2. The widget in the bottom left is mClock 4x2, next to Circle Battery 1x1. The line is actually two 1x2 widgets with Desktop Visualizer and a custom graphic. The text icons are 2x1 with Desktop Vizualizer, and there are also two clear 1x1 DV widgets just above the clock.
I use the two line widgets for gmail and sms, and the two clear widgets for alarm and calendar.

I want to say minimalistic text. And there's a screenshot on the market that does have a divider in it.
And the app added option to add fonts

No, here is why..minimastic text won't let you move things around i.e hours, minutes, months..etc just like "Make Your Own Clock" widget..I have already tried making my clock to look just like that using minimastic text and i cant seem to manage to get it just like that
hi, You can use Ultimate Custom Clock which is superb in my opinion
I thought that looked really cool so did some searching. Perhaps Advanced Clock widget?
i vote for minimalistic text
It's a really nice widget!
I'd like to get ahold of that myself.
What's the verdict on what it is?
You can make that with Make your clock widget.
Here's a little gallery, you can finde more templates online from within the app.
It's Make Your Clock Widget app.
This is my screen:
I got that clock widget, its name is One More Clock, you can download from the market

Droid MAXX Ultra Clock / Weather Widget [UCCW]

Hi,
I just started working with UCCW and was stunned by the possibilities and options beeing available.
I wanted to have the Droid MAXX Ultra Widget so I took the Motorola Droid MAXX Weather / Clock widget graphics, did some graphical modifications and corrections and added real weather icons to it.
Clock and battery cirlce are still transparent, as I took the original png from the Motorola device. (its just hard to see on this background)
Attached is the uzip file of this 1st test (v0.1b)
Ill add the clock/alarm hotspot and a hotspot for the weather, that will lead to my HD weather forecast, for my own needs
This test is without hotspots for now.
Fixed the "full screen issue" (it wouldnt show up in its full 5x3, only 4x3, no matter which resolution or widget I was using)

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Solution:
I just set the homescreen from 6x5 to 6x6, pulled the widget to its full size and set the homescreen back to 6x5.
Now the widget will be in its full 5x3.
It should work on any device, but the higher the resolution, the more pixelated it might look.

p.s.
If someone could tell me what the circle with the "-" inside does when pressed, feel free to tell me. (I can imagine a minimize...but what for ?)

I could only stretch it to its full 5x3 once...by accident ?
It only shows up as 4x3 when I long-press and stretch it by pulling.
No matter which widget (1x1, 1x2 etc.), screen size, or image size I choose.
But it looked great in 5x3. Any info about this "problem" is welcome.
Ill then update and re-upload it.
