i have a rootet HTC Desire with this ROM:
[ROM] Official 2.2 (HTC 2.09 and 2.10): busybox, A2SD+, TUN, EXT4, Undervolt, SYSRW - xda-developers
also had clockwork on it and it worked fine till i desided to upgrade my SD Card from 4 GB to 16 GB. M Hboot Menu didnt gave a an option to partitition my new sd card to ext2. Thats why i used unrevoked and flash Amonra version2 on my Phone.
It was dont but after the system reboot my Desire didnt boot
I push on button booting till Green HTC Logo with white background and reboot again. I try wipe all cache. Also flash the room again from the sd card but same result. I really dont know what i can do more. Hope you Guys can help me.

I was using hdubli's Asus p320 WM 6.5 rom. it gave me stability issues, so i tried to revert to the original ASUS WWE from their website.
I'm sort of locked out of my phone right now. The hdubli rom wont boot, and a flashing attempt says "Read SD Busy!" and screen goes white.
PLEASE HELP

5) Normally it will autorun and what you need to do is to follow the on-screen instruction.
6) If nothing happens, open File Explorer and go to the "2577" folder and click autorun.exe.
I cant even do that because now the original rom wont boot

Hi,
What size of SD are you using ? Max size for flashing is 2 GB SD, not SDHC !!!!

Can you boot into fastboot? Try by holding back when you turn on your phone.

Try using a card reader, does it work in that? might be corrupted and may need to formatted again.
Either was first thing is to establish if it is the card or the phone at fault.

Hey guys, today i attempted to root my HTC MAGIC 32A, and install KingKlick's 2.1 Eclair with HTC Sense for Magic v1.1. The rooting went fine, and i partitioned the sd card using the recovery tool (I followed this guide and used the downloads in that: www~theunlockr~com/2009/08/29/how-to-root-the-htc-magic-in-one-click/) for some reason, the device wont boot, and i tried wiping and reinstalling the update rom, with no success, it just stalls at the boot screen. Now i see that i did make the mistake of not updating my radio, which is at 3.22~ something, and im not sure my sd card was CAT 6. so i dont know what to do know. I can still access the recovery root menu , and was wondering what is the next step from here, or how do i return to the stock 1.5 cupcake firmware.
Anybody's insight is greatly appreciated

First hello everyone this is my first post ( of menny questions know dout )
My problem is i have just got a htc magic vodaphone uk. The back says (with google)
basicly i wont to root this phone so i can put that custom firmware that most people use. i have the ROM and a guide to get the costom ROM on ( that may be a question when im rooted ) i have looked all over the net for days now and come across a file called SAPPIMG.nbh
i ran the file in fast boot but as it unpack's or whotever it does but as the green writeing come's up i noticed after every line it says image not found or wrong image first line is alway's say's SAPPING.zip image not found i think it as 6 lines its prity fast over in about 10 sec's.
my phone says in fastboot mode.

may not matter but its unlocked to any network im on 02 so i have to put my own vpn in for 3g.
Your phone has a perfected spl and so you will need to create a Goldcard it's a lot easier then it looks trust me just follow Amon_RA's instructions (link below) I used them just the other day to root my UK Vodafone HTC Magic all I can say is make sure you read the whole post and links carefully a few times and if there's anything you don't understand just ask

Thank you dreamsofubuntu. im now running custom rom no real difrence to stock but got to start someware may try a new rom. i was wondering i made the gold card do i need it anymore or is it something i may need if rom ruins my phone or whotever dont realy need the card as i just got a new 4gb also i have read something about file swop or linux swop to speed up apps and whot not the recovery i flashed dont have that option but i still have the image that as it that i might put on had way more options than the one im useing recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.6.2H.img the other one with loads of options starts with boot anyway can i reflash the boot img without haveing to reflash the rom.

1) The most user-friendly rom by far is CyanogenMOD =]
2) Keeping hold of the Goldcard is useful, if for any reason you want to unroot your phone I believe
3) some recommend partitioning your microSD card so you have a small swap partition (used when you run out of ram) and a ext3 partition to use app2sd (stores apps on microSD instead of Phones memory) but this isn't recommended unless you have a class 4 or above microSD
in my opinion app2sd or swap is not needed for the HTC Magic however if you have allot of apps then it could become useful.

@shekhutanwar Respected Admin, I"ve engaged up in a damn hell of problem in installing the rom Sense 4 Lite build #9.. actually my device htc explorer is not bootingup... its stuck in the bootloading animation.. the installation is done successsfully in my devce but dont know what is the problem in it.... its continuing the loading of the bootanimation.. hours passed on yet the first boot didnt turn out to be fruitful.... my device has got an sd-ext of 4 gb in Ext 3... i've followed all your instructions instructions in your page ofthe rom.. i"m a new gig in xda socant reply to yourpost there.. kindly mail me with solution what should i do get the device boot up and me to use ht c sense 4 lite in y pico... i"ll be pretty much grateful to you in doing the favor for me/// thanx in advance... kindly mail me with the solution in [email protected]..

HELP.... HELP... SD-Ext Problem
@shekhutanwar Dear Admin, iam glad to have the new upload of yours Build #10 Htc Sense 4.0 lite... But i'm struck in a problem... Quite cheesy problem...
Actually the matter is that my sd-ext is not getting detected by the rom... Literally speaking, the sd-ext id not being detected to mount in my recovery option in TwRp.. Nd i'm a student nly so don't have Pc here to go for CWm... Actually i got the root of the provlem why last time i textd you, the rom ain't booting up in the first boot... I used to used CM 10.2 nd Mount2sd for memory purpose... But mount2sd useto detect my sd-ext Ext 3 partion of 3GB...i don't understand why the same is not geting detected for mount in the recovery option... I'm in a dilemma noe.... Kinfly help... I need yor help..Dying to use Sense4...repeating i've a a partion of 4GB in Ext 3 partition.... Reply soo.. Thanx in advance
