Theme: Gingerbread Android 2.3 theme | Device: HTC EVO | ROM: CyanogenMod 6.1.1 Final
I know there are a lot of variations going around, so I wanted to post mine (this is an all in one shot, including keyboard and adw launcher). I have changed just a few things myself. I have tried to mimic the gingerbread theme the best I can, while changing things like the notification tray background and the handle because I felt them necessary. Below the download I have made the hotseat buttons available. Use these as the icons you put into your dock for the official look. Here are the changes/themed apps:
Update: Dec 24
-I've added a download without the screen animations for those who want it
This will probably be the last release of the theme with fully functional gingerbread right around the corner. I might still work on some apps once I get some more time for those who want them
Update: Dec 19
-updated to work with 6.1.1
-menu dividers added from gingerbread
-thanks gomorrah for this release, he updated the theme to the new framework for us!
Update: Dec 10
-Transparent adw folder backgrounds
-Changed adw icon to "stock" launcher icon
-Changed widget icon in ADW
-Changed a few other graphical errors
-Changed trash can in ADW to green
-Phone.apk themed to gingerbread
-ADW launcher themed (select the largest hotseat icon size to get the full launcher bar height wise) w/ green selections
-MMS.apk - updated icon
-Black menu pop-ups
-Themed geniewidget
-Themed phone, browser icons
-New wifi icon in settings
-Gingerbread windows
-Gingerbread keyboard
-Black notification bar, black transparent notification tray with gingerbread notis and selections
-Themed lockscreen
-Solid black notification bar handle made by me
-All gingerbread icons (green radio and wifi, gray data indicator)
-You may need to edit some text colors (Settings>cyanogenmod settings>user interface)
I'd like to thank sonnysekhon who helped me find where to make the edits for the menus.
Enjoy!

New Android Market v 2.2.6 | CyanogenMod 6.1 Final
This will update your android market to the newest 2.2.6. This has been tested and confirmed working by me on cyanogenmod 6.1 stable. Don't delete your market, just flash this through recovery. Some have been reporting force closes, it seems almost hit or miss. Try clearing your caches before and after flashing if you have problems.

Gingerbread Launcher | CyanogenMod 6.1 Final
This is the official gingerbread launcher. This looks the same as the launcher pictured in the theme screen shots above. It consists of 5 homescreens and no 3D app drawer.

create a new shortcut on your desktop. [ long press on home screen > custom shortcut > pick your activity > launcher actions > select open/close app drawer > then change the icon ]. then simply drag it over the app draw icon on the launcher.

Does this have the window transitions/animations?

Working great on nightly 195 BTW
Thank you for this.

You've probably got your CM theme set to black in cm settings. Thats the alt noti bar I included, set it back to stock and reboot and you should be good.

this looks to be the best one thus far. nice work, man. now if i can only get the keyboard from the GalaxyS theme to this, i would jump to a Gingerbread theme. hopefully i can get it done over my holiday vacation.

Barnacles I figure since we both have a thread on this theme I would help you out.
Add this to your first post.
Combine that with NexusKang paid version in the market and you have an exact replica of the Nexus S wallpaper. I've got it, enjoy!

HUGE THANKS GOES OUT TO EVERYONE THAT DONATED!!!!
Uhm. Wow.
This is excellent. I must know how you got the AOSP Contacts & Dialer working. I tried and failed (multiple times). The lack of sorting by last name in the Sense version is a laughable oversight by HTC.
been waiting for a aosp froyo rom for awhile. this is the closest ive seen yet. will test this out and have a review by the end of the day. thanks!
Glad to see this finally make this big time. How is this different than the rom I was testing for gou? Your rom was hands down my favorite rom on 2.1. Looking forward to giving this a go!
I am really digging the AOSP-centric ROMs coming out.
When you go in to the Calendar and click on More then Calendars it Force Closes.
Which camera app, HTC's or AOSP?
How do i get the main clock with the weather ?? It only give me a choice of analog clock in widgets ??

I use Beautiful Widgets which is available from the market for about $2.00. It gives a lot of options including many clock and weather skins. There is a smaller widget included that uses less screen real estate. As well it has more than just clock/weather widgets.

Flashed this, coming from the 1.3 themed baked snack after wiping data, cache, and davlik.
Liked the boot animation, like the overall theme itself as it actually works with things like the phone and what not.. But when attempting to use Titanium Backup I am prompted 3-10+ times to grant super user permissions the 10+ times I just finally hit the home button and forgot about using it.
Is this common or?

all the spots that you have red.. can you make them blue please..this is hot i love it, sending a donation
turning them blue would require a lot of work, but i believe there are blue themes already out there.
for your question about the dock, when you apply the theme, it copies over the tallmin icons t your sdcard. you need to long press on the icon in the dock, choose custom image, and pick from the folder of icons.
and thank you for your donation

Not sure, its based on the cyanogenmod frameworks so I would assume not. Everything except for the framework should apply just fine.

if you wanted to go in manually and remove the images for the status bar you could do that. and as of now, MOST of the theme will work on SR, but the framework for sure will not work, and there may be other issues.
How would I go about putting the transparent astrid like in the screen shot on my skyraider or my cm6 rom?
Flash the setup zip, then when in metamorph only select astrid to be themed

Can we please get the notification slider -with Andy- that you have on your Transparent Chaos morph?
Also... has anyone tried to install a circular batt over this?
Just so you know, on the 9/27 nightly...
the lock-screen tabs do not show,
launcher pro can't be updated through market, and
Rom Manager keeps asking to upgrade to "IncRedibly Trans for Sense" even though I installed the one for CM.

lockscreen tabs arent supposed to show
LP cant be updated because it will break the theme, i included a special one that has all transparent LP+ widgets. if you dont use them, feel free to remove LP and install a new one, it wont effect the theme at all
Let me know if your still having the update issues, I think I should have it fixed

Very nice screen shots. I don't know if I would care for an miui rom, but I like the icons you use (was just googling 'orion icon pack, but that's not it), and I like the simple toggles in your last pull down.
Are those part of your apk? If not, what icon pack & what app is in the pull down?
Looking at some youtube videos of miui now..
I must say - you have outdone yourself this time Jason! Looks incredible!

Just installed it on AOSP 3/26. Looks great and works just fine. Combined with Go Launcher seems to be a perfect match. Great work.
Fixed the preview image....should show correctly now....
also changed the thread title to reflect that it will work on different GB roms that use the tmobile theme engine
I love the look of this. One thing I've found is that it appears the sound toggle is missing from the notification bar. Is this by design?

Theme is great. Could you please make nework status bar icons the same as in miui. And with no difference in colour for connected. =)))
Also different colors for settings look a liitle bit cartoonish. May be it would be better to make them all gray or smthng. IMHO)

you can pull the images out of the apk (use 7zip) and edit them yourself to your liking...
At least that's what I did for the wifi/3g/signal icons made 'em all white and added them to match the battery icon

when i was searching for this theme i found that the gingerbread miui roms had gingerbread statis bar icons with the miui battery....hence why it's like that...
to the other poster about the settings icons....it looked bland before i colored them lol
Jason I like the colored icons also ;-) this is a bad add theme TY
Is there any way you can upload the icon launcher for the app drawer as home one right now it's for squares.
Edit: The dialer doesn't show the phone or back button see the pic attached

Great theme, thanks a lot!
Looks great on my Evo - nicely done Jason. I needed a change from my normal blues and blacks.
Awesome, this looks great! Thanks!

[CM7 Theme Chooser] Sense Theme for CM 7

Theme is not from me! All credits to nhnt11!
If somebody is interested in a working Sense Theme for CM 7.
Download, install, and choose it with Theme Chooser. A message will apear that not all fits but anyway it works!
Original Thread (Give nhnt11 a thanks)

Hi guys,
This is a port of the Sense framework. It works with the theme chooser so it's easily updatable.
This theme was originally an experiment for me to learn/figure out the theme engine (I never intended to actually use it because I'm not a big sense fan), but many people liked it and I got a request for HDPI so I thought I'd just continue working on it as a proper theme.
The complete framework is themed, including status bar, notifications, icons, dialogs, buttons, progress bars, overscroll glow, keyboard, etc etc.
Get it here.
The old versions with black menus, etc etc. can still be found here. Remember to check the README file!!!
NOTE: This theme does NOT give you Sense widgets, nor does it let you use sense widgets from somewhere else. If you want Sense widgets, use a Sense ROM or find alternatives.
Credits
The cyanogenmod team and of course tmobile and the theme engine
HTC Sense
haxzamatic for his awesome theme chooser template - he rocks!!!
To install:
Install the file like a normal apk from a file manager.
Open theme chooser, find the one that says NTSense and hit apply.
It may show a popup saying resources are missing for your screen size. Hit apply anyway.
Don't worry about the popup if you're on MDPI/LDPI, it's there because some images are 'borrowed' from HDPI because there is negligible loss in quality and I'd rather save time porting EVERYTHING.
After applying, make sure you reboot to properly apply status bar changes.
NOTE: Due to limitations in the theme engine, system dialogs are not themed (volume dialogs, reboot dialog, etc). Same goes for the lockscreen.
Hit Thanks if you like it!
UPDATES:
[15/9] - Battery percentage version due to popular demand. Thanks to sigurd_LU for the images.
4.1 [5/9] - Themed dialog buttons, fixed text visibility on tabs, minor tweaks.
4.0b2 [20/5] - Much better keyboard, MDPI/LDPI music widget padding fixed, blue version now installable parallel to the green version (new previews), couple of other minor things.
4.0b [17/5] - Keyboard themed, music app themed, transparent notif background back, lots of minor changes. Beta for MDPI and LDPI.
3.1 [26/3] - New blue version!! Notification dropdown is no longer transparent (white).
3.0 [21/3] - Redid the theme using the "proper" way (using make, from source instead of apktool) - gets rid of the preview problem. Couple of minor changes... probably not noticable.
2.2 [10/3] - fixed black menu text.
2.2 [9/3] - Fixed quickcontact frames, fixed alarm icon. Removed notification power widget overrides so that the new icons now show up. Some other minor changes.
2.1 [??/3] - I don't remember since I forgot to update the changelog.
2.01 [6/3] - Got rid of previews to get rid of compile errors. Did quite a few of the requests. Fixed faulty supercircle charging animation. Supercircle versions still say 2.0 but I'm too lazy to recompile them
2.0 [3/3] - Some major cleanup, completely reverted the preview/wallpaper/ringtones to default, which means this now changes your ringtone and wallpaper again. This was the only thing I could find that was different in my theme from others so it's back, maybe this will fix compile errors. Also some other minor changes here and there.
1.9 [2/3] - FINALLY fixed the menu text color thing, so the sense style menus are back (thought this was worthy of upgrading version number)! Also some minor fixes here and there. This version still has the preview, so leave a comment if it gives you a compile error on your phone.
1.8b5 [1/3] - Lots of minor changes/fixes here and there, added settings and phone icons, animated sync icon, (hopefully) fixed compile errors for mdpi devices.
1.8b4 [27/2] - Fixed 2-3 MDPI bugs including faulty supercircle (again lol)
1.8b3 [27/2] - Added full MDPI support (ALPHA). Cleaned up several things. Fixed faulty supercircle mod. This theme no longer changes your wallpaper, but supports UpwardSpiral's theme chooser wallpaper app found on the market. Find the link at the bottom of this post.. Maybe some other stuff that I can't remember.
1.8b2 [26/2] - Added HDPI app icons and transparent notification dropdown. HDPI is now BETA.
1.8b [26/2] - Added HDPI support (ALPHA, thanks to jsmarble for giving me the EVO's framework-res.apk), made LDPI signal icon have a slightly taller fourth bar.
1.7 [25/2] - Themed keyboard, not sense style though, I couldn't get the text to be black. Will keep trying. For now, honeycomb keyboard with green highlights instead of blue. Looks cool imo
1.6 [24/2] - App icons now themed (included apps - browser, calendar, calculator, camera, clock, contacts, email, torch, gallery, messaging, music, maybe more to come), settings icons themed, added green overscroll (quite sensible IMO), and added colorful supercircle mod. This update changes the supercircle mod version's package name, you should uninstall it first and then install again.
1.5 [23/2] - Fixed USB Storage layout, stopped it from changing your ringtone.
1.4 [23/2] - More cleaning up, half the size again, added theme with standard battery icon as a separate package, both installable parallely. Added green progress bars, modded indeterminate progress bars to be smoother.
1.3 [22/2] - Major cleanup of unused backup resources, half the size now.
1.2 [22/2] - Menu text is a no-go, theme chooser throwing scary errors in logcat. Changed menu backgrounds to transparent black. (temporary). Fixed ProgressDialog background.
1.1 [21/2] - Made menu text at least readable, fixed menu border bug, added transparent notification dropdown
1.0 [21/2] - Initial release

I tried it, But noting happened! just the phone botton changed!!!
no sense clock, no sense theme, no sense widgets.
pls put links in some uploade sites like 4shared or mediafire to test again...
You misunderstood this.
There are no clock or widgets inside. It changes icons/framework to look like sense.
For clock and others you need seperate apps.
