Having serious problems with my phonebook, the option to hide contacts dont work at all, so now my phonebook is filled with alla contacts from facebook, skype and gmail. A just want to see the contacts with a phonenumber but this option dont work! Really irritating.. anyone with a solution ? running on eclair

Hi, I just flashed 6.1.1 and I really rely on the fact that my Facebook Contacts can sync with my GMail to create one big list. In the contacts app I see both groups just as I need. However, if I download an app such as GO SMS which replaces the default sms client, the only contacts recognized are that of Gmail and on my SIM card. The facebook contacts will only appear as numbers. Now having over 500 facebook contacts I cannot just add them all thats ridiculous. But, if I go into the default SMS client then the contact appears with name and picture...
Any ideas as to what's wrong?

hi guys, anyone know how to sync only facebook photo to phone contact, rather than whole facebook contact?
this is the problem i encounter:
when i tab on the TO: list in messaging and type in my friend's name, it will show a replica of number (ie number from phone contact, and number from facebook contact). And the worst part is some of the number from facebook contact are wrong.
can anyone help?

thanks aagvain, i forgot something, previously i sync with my facebook account, and am able to get all the email address as well.
so i have to either add in the email via gmail one by one and sync gmail, or is there any other alternative?

just an update, i've solved my problem.
i've installed google contact sync and it will only sync facebook photo.
the downside is it doesn't sync the email, so i have to manually input.
Hi, I'm having a problem syncing contacts on my SE Xperia Ray (2.3.4 on SE Build 4.0.2.A.0.42). I've tied both my Twitter and Facebook account (Facebook through SE's "Facebook inside Xperia" app) to the phone, and it seems that only some of the contacts are syncing to the contacts app. Admittedly most of my contacts don't have Twitter profiles, but they all have Facebook. I've checked that the names are spelt exactly the same as on Facebook, so I don't think that is the problem. There seems to be no difference in the info I've filled in between the contacts that work and the ones that don't work. There's screenshots below of one properly synced contact and one broken contact.

Does anyone know how to exclude certain contacts in Hangouts? Ideally I'd like to only see my phone contacts in there, but it's popping up with my G+ Circles contacts (understandable) and even my work contacts (why?) from adding my work Exchange account.
