Geo tagging GPS in photos - General Topics

For phones that don't have geo-tagging built into the camera software, is there some add-on available?
I've got an HTC 8925 that doesn't tag photos (unless there is some trick I don't know).
Any easy way to get geo-tagging of all photos?

FlyCAM-SD 1.3 Megapixel

Somebody already used the FlyCAM-SD 1.3 camera in the XDA II?

Any answer?
It already has a camera?
Perhaps you want it to be more human?
Hi,
The XDA1 doesn't support i/o sd functionality so it won't work on it, but will work on a XDA2, but why would you? it has a cam
XDA II has a cam but only low resolution (640X480) 300,000 pixels, and no flash, so pictures at night are crap.
FlyCam is 1.3 megapixels and has a flash. Should be more "Human" and provide real pictures like digital cameras.
Has anyone tried it with the XDAII? The supplied driver is only for a model of Ipaq, but I bebeive it should work on our devices. Just don't want to discover after buying it that it doesn't work.
i know, Just buy a cam then instead of that ugly thing on your XDA
Web cam / xda II wifi
Hi Raoul
I already have one camera Canon EOS-1Ds 11.1M, to take photos of my girls.
At this time I want to transmit audio video on IP for my office through the XDA II.

The Microsoft portrait works with video and audio on IP, http://research.microsoft.com/~jiangli/portrait/ I hope that you like.

I got a response from the dev-team at MS in June and they had no plans to support the xdaII!
I told them they should!

Set-up?
What camera setup did you use for the XDA2?

Enabling Magician Macro mode for the camera

Yes, it is posible... well not realy
but You can take pictures in macro mode by using a simple optical magnifier in front of the camera to compensate for close up pictures like 2 inch or less..

With this idea You Imate Jam or similar will be ready for One Note Mobile OCR from microsoft when available!!!
Oh.....Great.. But can I use this method to make the worldcard mobile software work on my T-mobile mda (cingular 8125)? I installed this software to my mda but it doesn't work well because my phone doesn't have macro mode. What do you think?

Sending picture through bluetooth or wifi

Hello
When I've taken a picture, I'd like to transfer it through blurtooth, or even better - over wifi - but how do I do this?
My device is a Touch Cruise (Polaris), but I guess the method is similar on several HTC WM devices..
Perhaps I need another program?
with bluetooth on - tap and hold on a picture and go to beam file
so there is no way to do it from the camera-album?
how about transferring to, say flickr or picassaweb?
Flickr via Resco Photo Viewer
Resco Photo viewer will allow you to upload photos directly to Flickr.

You can also upload by .ftp

[Q] Apps to geotag photos taken by a digital camera?

Hi, I'm looking for an app so that I can take photos using a digital camera and geotag them directly on my Android phone.
Ideally, I would
Sync the time stamp on my camera and the phone
Ask the app to start to record my GPS coordinates periodically, like every 10 seconds
Take photos
Transfer the photos on to the phone
Geotag them with the app all at once (write GPS info to EXIF)
The apps I have tried so far can either do only 1 photo at a time, or ask me to tag photos with their desktop clients. This is not what I want.
There is a pretty good app called geotagr on iOS, but how about Android?
Thank you!
