Yeah, the gingerbread keyboard is pretty sweet. I threw in the US dictionary in there as well, so that it has predictive text. There's also a stand-alone zip in the second post if you just want the keyboard.

Awesome. I saw 'mau5' and was hoping I read it correctly
And I just realized this'll be my first flash of a newer rom in almost a month I've been wayy to comfortable with my rom, finally kicked the habit of being a flashaholic once I started dev'ing personally.
Thanks again Decad3nce

sorry for the dumb questions:
how do you get that lock screen, mine still loads the old lock screen?
and how do you load the spare parts xml file?

Ooohh me likey. Me flash now

It's a flashable zip. Just put it on your sdcard. Flash. Don't rename it.

Oh it's fine. I tried to compile last night myself using a walkthrough I found but I got stuck on the SDK itself - I was informed that I only needed to use ./make but the guide I was using outlined the SDK first. I was out of juice myself.
I'm gonna get the SDK going today and then attempt my first compile! I'm pretty excited.

Hey, is this just the theme or the entire ROM? I saw that the file was quite large and stopped downloading it until I found out for sure.....

[Theme/MORPH] AlmightyGangTheme for CM 6.1.0 Nightly/CM 6.1.0 RC1 [02/Nov/10]

Hi everyone, i put together a theme for my daily nightly-flash-addiction.
It works (tested) on the Nightlies and on CM 6.1.0 RC1, it should work on any HDPI device though (tell my and i add it here...).
It is based of the GalaS theme with some elements of NexTheme, iNexTheme and some other png's i liked along my flashing career.
Thanks go to rori, manup, ogdobber, PaY87 from the Desire forum, haxzamatic for their themes and modded apps.
This theme is my first attempt to creat any theme/morph, hope you like it.
I now present you the AlmightyGangTheme

I like the idea of skinning Swype to look like HTC.
Any chance you could do it to the version with the microphone?
==========LINK REMOVED==========
This is just the latest Swype version, but it has a working mic button. I'll try skinning it myself, but who knows how it'll go.
Can anyone extract that To-Do-List widge/program into an APK? I have HTC Notes and I rather have the To-Do-List.

Yep. Most probably flashing the theme before DT's Apps2SD might result in a clean install of the theme. However, I am not so sure about the correct order in which things should be flashed -
ROM, Kernel, Apps2SD and Theme
OR
ROM, Kernel, Theme and then Apps2SD
Could someone enlighten me please

Getting some Cyanogen settings on Free X10

First off, I want to say that I did not create any of the files I have posted, ALL credit goes to zdzihu and TripNRaVer for creating both of these awesome roms.
If either of you two have a problem with me posting this please let me know, I will take it down.
Ok, I'm not that experienced with android, so if something doesn't work for you I can't see myself being that useful.
Note: This was done on zdzihu's Free X10 Beta 3 using some of the .apks from TripNRaVer's Cyanogen Mod ROM.
EDIT: Works for Beta 4 as well.
ehmi has modified the services.jar to allow the notifications to be changed.
go here for the updated version.
Thanks to XperiaX10iUser for an easier way to install this.
1: Backup your system with xRecovery (in my opinion this should ALWAYS be done before replacing/changing any settings/.apks you or your phone may find important).
2: Download .zip here. (Dead link, use ehmi's version)
3: Install with xRecovery as custom .zip
It seems that the status bar and notification text color can't be changed in the menu, BUT the clock CAN be changed to any color you like. So far all the other settings I have tried work.
Again: ALL I did was take the .apks from TripNRaVer's ROM, all credit goes to him and zdzihu.
... Ok... maybe this would have been better posted in the X10 android development forum
The attached file is just for reference now (The attached .zip will not work in xRecovery, it is a plain old zip file).
Just use XperiaX10iUser's method (thanks again) as it is better.

It would probably work if you had 2.1 cyanogen settings.apk
Thanks for this, white clock at last. I've made a xRecovery file with all the apks and tested it and so far so good, clock has held after a reboot.

Ah, thank you for that, this is my first time contributing anything of value to the x10 community, so I wasn't sure how to create an updatable.zip.
I'll change my instructions to include your simpler method to install.

this is really strange...
the Mediafire link goes to http://adf.ly/RANw and it just keeps on showing different ads...
The ZIP file for xrecovery works fine thanks for that, but it seems i can not make my phone faster with the preformance settings any ideas ?

Make sure JIT is enabled, dithering will make gradients smoother, but slow down your phone. I'm not sure how locking things into memory will affect benchmarks. And I hear that changing the VM heap size can speed things up (booting at least) but that is beyond me and I will not pretend to know what I am talking about here.
Also, after you make a change in there you have to reboot.
I turned dithering on and actually lowered my quadrant score, but my gradients do seem nicer.

yeah, you have to wait a few seconds and then press skip ad in the top right corner.
Or use the link in the first post.

Yeah. What's the version number of CyanogenMod based on 2.1? Is it CM5?
