There is MIUI for XT 720 is released!!! (sorry i'm Korean, so I'm poor at English)

How to installation??
1. copy these files (first unzip!!)
2. Install UK 2.1 ROM (Use RSD)
UK2.1 ROM link (Erase 1!!!!!!!!!!)

3. Root the phone (Use Super One Click)
4. Install System Recovery by using OpenRecovery.apk
5. Run System Recovery
6. Choose Install recovery ( Superuser permission allow)
7. Choose Reboot Recovery
8. In Nandroid - Restore, Choose Miui for XT720, Restore All
*CAUTION*
Some problems was revealed (SD card, Wi-Fi, Usim, Senser, Language ...etc)
This Rom was very very very unstable. so usually fail to boot.
When this situation...solution is.... try,try,try and....try untill success
I'm not Rom developer!!!
This Rom was based on Dexter's Froyo

This Rom is based on Dexter's Rom! so, install UK 2.1 Rom first..

can i know the source of this MIUI...i mean the developer?

According to Google translate 2.2 is out...but I'm not fluent in chinese so I can't navigate the website to find the stupid rom...
Anyone fluent in chinese please help. Maybe you'll have better luck.

It is not related. Just a post requesting for miui rom based on kr xt720 rom. U can see the date of the post is dec 2010 when motoroi upgraded to 2.2

Do not wipe to restore access to the system after.
Can not scan sdcard
Sometimes stay in the first screen. must restart button battery
Media Library can not be used.And can not get online, but can connect wifi

So is this rom usable? Has anyone tried it. Has anyone tried fixing the problems?

Meh just looks like IOS what else is there?

Eh its somethin different I'm gettin bored with stock I've got about every laucher made to switch it up and miui has some pretty kool features I really like status bar and widget feature. I wish someone would come out with cm7 for this bad boy. I wish I had a lil more time and knowledge. Isant miui mostly framework changes and launcher changes or is it more than that? What if we took the framework and launcher from this and put it into one of dexters newer builds?

Got the phone working but the browsers crash too much it looks like it would be alright if the bugs got fixed I will try working on again later.

Everything works great for me when I installed it, only question I have is there an English version to this rom ?

I tried it. Got it to work for me to. I changed the language to english but only half is in english. It connects to 3g for me but won't download anything from the market and when I rebooted it wouldn't boot again. Ima try dling the english translation pack and see what happpens

Has some pretty cool default apps, cool lockscreen, custom transitions through anything, lots of custom themes you can just put on, other tweaks and is supposed to be really fast from what I can understand. It's also a different experience. The launcher and IOS icons is the least attractive thing to me.

[Q] Gingerbread keyboard not working on LBC MOD SAGA v0.4.6

I have a problem with the custom rom LBC MOD SAGA v0.4.6.
Everything works great, except of the possibility to use the stock gingerbread keyboard.
As explained in the guide I have download the LatinIME apk, unzipped and installed, but when I try to select (as input method, after having enabled the "android keyboard" in the preferences) the android keyboard, I have to force close it:
"Application Android keyboard (in process com.android.inputmethod.latin) is not responding"
My rom language is italian, but even changing the whole system language to english it makes no difference.

One more thing, I was also thinking to flash one of the gingerbread keyboard zips that are posted in different places of the forum, but (because of any of these seems to be dedicated to a specific device, or requires froyo) i didn't want to mess up everything.

[SOLVED] Swype on Miui

I' ve been running Miui since the early days. I have the Swype release by dedrack and it runs ok on every CM7 and Miui build and as long as I choose Miui as my dialy system, Swype is my primary keyboard. But after the 1.6.24 version, this Swype by dedrack stopped working. It says that the Swype version was made for another device and will work with limited functions.
Today I installed a fresh 1.7.22 from the scratch and downloaded Swype from beta.swype.com, because I' ve been stuck on 1.6.17 due to this problem. I thought that everything will be fine, but Swype didn't work, it gave me an error. It said that there was a problem with the installer and asked me to reinstall, witch I did but no sucess.
Does anyone of you have the same issue, if so , do you have a clue on how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

Problem with Voice Recognize on Virtuous Unity 1.31.0 Sense 3.0

Hello sorry for my poor english.
Today im installed Virtuous Unity 1.31.0 Sense 3.0 to my Desire S - phone is branded by T-mobile.pl After the install of new ROM evewrything works great but Voice / Speach Recognize dont work. I check all setting of language is ok i using polish language. When i try to speach in google search phone i not recognize anythin - i try in english and polish but phne dont hear me

I believe that this it's a reported problem with that ROM, read the roms thread in development section

As ben_pyett say's it is a recognised problem with the rom. It has been for a few revisions now.

Didn't wanted to make new topic for Virtuous Unity, but question is bit different than topic name though.
As I don't have access to Develop are yeat because of post qty, I want to ask here, have anybody installed new 2.35 version and noticed lack of OverClocking (OC) Deamon?

Yes, it is not there. The Developers mentioned that it was draining battery hence they had removed it.

can someone make a patch for the voice search fix, tried replacing the files from the LBC ROM to the 2.35 but it hung my ROM, had to reflash.

Looking for a patch for the same fix, did it via root explorer, hung my ROM, had to reflash as mentioned.

Hello I have a HTC Desire HD and I am wondering if there is a ROM that makes your phone in Swedish language?

Cyanogenmod includes Swedish, most roms i tried across all my Android phones do so.

What if I install Cyanogenmod, and when I have done that I uninstall Cyanogenmod, would that make my phone still Swedish?

Any ROM that includes swedish (most ROMs) make your phone Swedish, as in all text is in swedish, I've noticed some things on CM that's not translated but nothing big, it's only some stuff in the settings menu.

So, I just need to find a ROM that include Swedish without having it rooted?
Or do I have to root it, if I have too can I later on unroot it and get it back to normal with the Swedish language?
If I have too, is there a ROM that is quite identical to the default htc desire hd rom, but just in Swedish?
...hope this is not getting to confused :S

Try to find the NORDIC rom - that's original with Swedish.
But if you have original rom on the phone you should be able to change language to Swedish anyway..
Where did you buy the phone and did you do anything with it so far?

This is what I did. I rooted, S-OFF, etc and I selected this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1174762&highlight=metamorph+crystal
I had it couple weeks and then I wanted to get it back to normal (default) so I used the ROM manager and did a restore from the old one, well everything worked there and the phone was still in Swedish, but I couldn't update to the latest version, so I updated through this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824357 version 2.37.707.3 Shipped.
So...yeah, I screwed it up...

Well, I did...I did try the latest but the only language I can select is English and some Asian language :S And the only link that works where the last link other once are down.
