[Wip-Rom] 2.1 EVOlaunch

This is going to be a 100% true no sense 2.1. this means sense frameworks will be gone and the BT wiimote will work. it will also run a million times faster than the sensleless roms now because im not just removing sense apps, ill be using 2.1 nexus eclair stock rom as base.
So until release tell me some app ideas and some theme ideas.

I love them both plus just glad to see the roms are starting to pop up really dont see what to hate about sense, especially now that there is the EVO....nice and smooth

so my buttons on the bottom dont work.
its got the vanilla lock screen (i think thats the name) side scroll to unlock. Also has helix launcher. ASOP top bar which i also am a fan of.
I dont know if 4g works because, 4g isnt available here yet, (WTF CMON NYC)
also seems as if camera has been removed.

Lol yes they do work i guess they arent attached to the system to function like we expect them to. I went into terminal emulator and i could use the capacitive buttons to type in it. Although i could only type 1 thing the whole time.

well im sure they arent broken, but when home does not take you to the home screen, menu doesnt bring up a menu, back doesnt go back , and search, well i dont use that sucker for anything, but when they dont to what they're supposed to do, they dont work.

[ROM] "Liquid"bAdDroid 3.0 (12/17/10)

First I want to THANK bigrushdog without him this would not have been possible at all... This rom is based off his LiquidRush rom...bigrushdog YOUR THE MAN !!!
Just like my bAdDroid 2.2 roms that I released a while back, this is a Rom that I cooked up for myself... not for anyone else, but people always ask me where they can get it so I guess here it is... LOL...
Like I said this is MY ROM... I have taken anything and everything out of it that I don't use, if you want something added, then add it... (i.e.... why have both Gmail, and Mail, when you can download K-9 mail, and it does for me what they do, and its one App in the drawer... NOT 2)... Also I don't use FaceBook, Twitter, FriendStream... I have real flesh and blood friends... but if you use them... Flash them... LOL
I guess if you want to give it a spin... download it...
I have changed a ton of things from bigrushdog's in the way of graphics, and colors, added a custom boot animation made by me.... Have added in Gingerbreads App store, and a bunch of other things I cant even think about...
Make sure you wipe everything... And like all roms, you are doing this at your OWN RISK... But I have flashed the final copy so many times just to check and make sure its all ok and it's being a "good" bAdDroid.... LOL... and have found to just let it sit for a min once you see the "pick a language screen" for best results...
If anyone wants to change something and post it, that wont bother me in the least...

Are you willing to share what does not work in your rom?

First not my rom. It's bigrushdogs work.
The rom is in alpha which means loads of problems not meant to be a daily YET.
Random reboots depending on kernel, no MMS send/receive, Location/Security tab in settings fc, other setting fc for me, (possibly) proximity sensor, the headphone jack doesn't work, Native Wifi tether gives error, 4G and HDMI.
Again it is an alpha there are supposed to be things wrong!!!

Okay, so first thing first, the kitchen is awesome. I'm surprised no one else has jumped onto it.
Secondly, I know I have to fix up other ROMs to pure awesomeness, but school is buttraping me and I barely have time to do anything that actually requires thinking.
That all being said, I want to launch my own open beta team. I don't have all the time to test everything and fix everything on my own. As part of the beta team, you can test and even send in fixes for the ROM. Sadly I have to depend on others ATM, but school is soon coming to a close and it gets terrible at this time.
Now with the good stuff
This ROM is another port, it's a modified version of Sense 2.1. Came from the Desire HD. Still cooking right now, but I'll be out with it in a few moments (assuming it works; if it doesn't, we try a new ROM. )
It's coming soon, so be patient! And if you'd like to beta test, help, drop hints, or anything, just say so, all help is appreciated

hey good luck with it.. i have just ported this myself and it has issues that r kernel related. this rom is uses ext4 make sure u edit ur ramdisk, u need to make init.glacier.rc for ext3 or else it will not boot. camera is really choppy and lacking trackpad wake.. i didnt go much further with testing... so if u need help with anything let me know, ill be happy to do what i can

Dude, I love you. (no homo). But you posted that too late. I flashed it and it didn't boot so I wen't back to my other ROM (just to sit there). I'll try that out, this ROM was incredibly sexy.

Well I can't release it yet :x it doesn't boot.. If I release it, I'd be making your devices a shiny fixable paperweight (although this does make a good paperweight).. I can't remember where i had even seen init.glacier.ro .. the kitchen does most of the work, but getting it to boot is my job.. once it at least boots, I'll release it hopefully it'll be by tonight. After that, I'll head back to RCMixGlacier to fight round two with the camera.

The RCMixGlacier went pretty well, minimal issues. This on the other hand is an ass kicker.

If you're looking testers, I'd be happy to jump on board... Just learning to use the kitchen myself, but will give you all the help I can...

Nice, hopefully it's not a waste of your time and it's legit. And it is sketchy that it would be posted without a source.

build.prop says its a dec7 build... **** it... flashing...

LOL. I literally googled "ICS G2X" and found a mediafire link.. don't flame me.. was just wondering if it was legit.

Most likely a broken AOSP or CM build being tossed between devs.

I already restored back to my bionix reloaded build sorry... just boot it up on your own, you cant do any harm by flashing it for a bit...
its literally an AOSP build... 4.0.1 (with a bunch of other digits after)... same old kernel... sound doesnt work so you can even make phone calls... its a mess to say the least...
and i doubt it would be fully working since we still dont have tegra2 drivers from nvidia... 2.2 to 2.3 is a doable fix, 2.3 to 4.0 is no beuno... nvidia or LG has to throw us a bone on this one...

i wonder why they stopped and gave up on these when everything was going so great??

Well I tried it and it works just cant get a data connecting 2g 3g or wifi. it was cool though having ICS for a minute!
this one didnt have the onscreen buttons too!
Cant wait for this to be put on this device. Tried a Galaxy Nexus at the local store and was amazed at the software. I would get one of those but seriously Tegra 2 is better than sgrx 540, Trust me that GN can not do what this G2x can in terms of gaming!

I hooked her up with miui on her old phone and she seems to be okay using that but I'd kind of like to give her a taste of ics. It seems like all the ics roms for the shift are pretty buggy. What do you guys think? Stick with miui? Or have her try an ics rom? Thanks guys.

You could have her run Supreme Sense v9.1. It's Stable and Fast right out of the box. Then you can flash an ICS Sandwhich Theme. There is THIS one by notso. Also there is one HERE by -somebody- ( no really that's his screen name ) .

Ummm it's not broken . It's a Hybrid Rom, and when it was made neither HTC, nor any of the Devs had figured out how to do Landscape on Sense 3.0. If landscape is a must, then there is always the HTC Flyer Rom that was ported .

This is stupid! The author of this post KNOWS sense 3.0 DOES NOT have landscape.
Virtuos unity hacked in the landscape mod and were adamant that nobody used their mod. The mod is open source now but, I can't blame strapped365 for not including it...
If it isn't broken, DON'T FIX IT! Supreme Sense and MikG are both GREAT ROMS...

You know what Dan, I'm tired of you and have been since I told you on Gtalk I wanted to kick you in the face, you always have something negative to say, you went behind my back pming users saying that my ROM broke your ear piece and to not flash it....this is why i left and is also the reason that I don't do **** anymore, I thought of a way I could include landscape but It's posts like this that show me it really isn't even worth it to try. So if you want to do something helpful think of something to do...like hell take my Rose.apk decompile it change the xml to activate landscape then find images sized for a 480x800 phone that does landscape and add the folder and images and HOPE it resizes lol take care guys

I think I can safely say that a good percentage of us here on the Shift forum truely appreciate the work that you do for us. ESPECIALLY SUPREME SENSE!!! Not to mention the fact that your always willing to help someone out with any issue. Even if it's not on Supreme.

I never said SS was a bad ROM. Would I flash it for my dumb hot girlfriend? No, because she'd be complaining about the same thing and it's a functionality that would now be gone from her phone by flashing it. Stop taking it so personal.

How have you contributed again? Sure you have some guides on rooting that are basicly a re-hash of all the other guides out there, and a radio firmware thread. Where's your rom developement forums or links? You tell people that all roms besides U.K.E. and Mikshifted-G are not good and pm users about it. Then you expect to become a mod when you start **** around this community all the time. ROFL!

How have you contributed again? Sure you have some guides on rooting that are basicly a re-hash of all the other guides out there, and a radio firmware thread. Where's your rom developement forums or links? You tell people that all roms besides U.K.E. and Mikshifted-G are not good and pm users about it. Then you expect to become a mod when you start **** around this community all the time. ROFL!

Well I figured out the 2.3.4 root exploit and how to unlock the new bootloader while working with Otaking71. But then again you wouldn't know that since you never hang out in #Htc_evo_Shift.

No it's not a root exploit or you could flash the eng bootloader right over the stock bootloader in adb shell. Unlocking the bootloader with htc tool is nothing new, it's been around for a long time now.
