Click to collapse
you have to copy the files and paste them in device/program files/s2u2/ gfx...then soft reset...
here's amother skin...that skins everything ...even the taskbar in s2u2...its diniks new anastasia...
Hi,
i would like to use this skin, but i didn't get it to work.
I have s2u2 2.40 installed and then i copied all the cab files to /gfx.
I double click every .cab and make a soft reset.
The screen looks like normal s2u2. Nothing changed.
Do i need a special version or do i miss a step?
cheers, michael
For this cab to work you must have S2U2 installed on the internal memory, that is the only reason this will not work that i know of as all files are deployed to the internal memory.
Try this and let me know if it worked if not i can provide you the original graphics files to overwrite instead.
Thanks
i have got it to work
the problem was that i have a german rom where the files are in programme.
but the cab copies the files in program files.
cheers, michael
Glad to hear it's sorted, hope you like it.
Thanks
Make sure you change the settings around to get it to work here are the settings I changed:
General >
Lock System Notifications > On
Lock Message Preview > On
Dismiss a Notification once it's been viewed > On
Show SMS Preview > On
Show MMS Preview > On
The rest is off.
Information >
Clock Font Folder > option 4(clockD\)
2nd Clock Font Folder > option 3(clockA\)
Today's Weather Forecast from > option 7(TouchFLO 3D Weather)
Show Current Weather > On
Onwer Information > On
Digital Battery > On
Wallpaper >
Full-screen Battery > Always
Full-screen Battery on top of wallpaper > On
Appearance >
Slider Position > Center
Slide text mirror > On
Slide to toggle ringer/vibrate > On
Text Shadow > Glow
Note~I skipped over the other settings because I don't think it really effects the theme. This will show the weather, show when you get a text, and will let you change from ring to vibrate with a simple slide.

hello can anyone please tell me how do i make the white bar where the icons are transparent? and also the slider if possible? Thanks
the bottom bar isnt transparent, its the bottom part of the wallpaper/background still while the rest of the icons moving.. its hard for me to explain but the image doesnt move.. trick of the eye..
OK, before this gets moved to the Q&A section, here you go
Just
Go to Start > Settings > Today > Items (tab) > Uncheck TouchFLO
Install .cab
Go to Start > Settings > Today > Items (tab) > Check TouchFLO
enjoy
your manila graphics must be in the Windows folder, or this won't work!
this is not the place for questions.
please, don't answer questions in this section either.

I've done some testing and skinning last few days.... transparency of the bottom tab bar seems to be a struggle for M2D.
1) I've tried using existing themes and figure out in the homesettings.xml what is done. Had this one as a sample: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2976669&postcount=17 (upper theme with Lambo/Hummer). This wasn't completely what I expected (unselected tabs weren't shown) although transparency worked nice.
2) Found a Blackstone (TF3D) option, but this doesn't work on TF2D...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3468396
But, this is exactly what I was looking for...
3) in this thread, this transparency is mentioned with an idea..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3233386#post3233386
Haven't tried it out, but it should have the same result as #1 (Lambo theme)
4) I've just tried the MBarvian cab, but ended up with the mentioned black bar, unfortunately. The manila graphics are in the Windows folder, however.
Does any one has a solution?
(@MBarvian, do you have a screenshot of the working cab of yours? Thanks!)
I was able to make a transparent slider bar by editing the HTCHOMESETTINGS.XML, but there are no small icons...
I think it kicks ass though!

i know the bottom 4 are gonna have 2 each a 64x64 and a 128x128
but im not sure about the 2 on the side
Thanks in Advance
If you mean the two on the side, as in the Call Mobile and Send SMS icons, I've attached the full set below [SMS, Mobile, Home, Work, etc..] Just extract the manila files in the ZIP to a dedicated folder. I've also attached a zip which includes the Tab Icons amongst the slider tray, as well as the Large Preview images.
All of the manila files have the System & Hidden Attributes, so you'll have to un-hide all hidden files, as well as show the system files, if you wish to simply get the manila names.
But if you want to edit, open CFC-GUI, and direct CFC-GUI to the folder with the extracted manila files.
INFO ::
'People Manila Files.zip' includes the icon set for the Left-Most icons in your picture (SMS, etc..)
'People Manila Tray & Slider.zip' includes ALL of the tray/slider icons, as well as the large Preview Icons that appear when sliding, from the People/Contacts area, .

The Jdpla7_WallSwitcher widget basically switch wallpapers every two minutes on its own page. The widget is a Standalone widget so it should be compatible with any other CHT widget and fully CHTS integration, it is resizable, pinnable and uninstalable. The Walls (30 pics) are 480x768 .png files saved in a folder (created during installation in \Storage Card\Jdpla7_WallSwitcher ) into SD card memory, so it is VERY IMPORTANT that you have at least 20mg free in SD card. You could use your own wallpapers BUT you must to RE-SIZE them to 480x768 pixels and must be in .png format and, of course, you need to rename them.
When the widget is in full screen size, only the taskbar and softkey are shown and worknig normally BUT the widget switching walls are overlapping other widgets which won't be visible and untouchable SO you can use this widget alone in "home page" and have the rest of your widgets on other pages
Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?hb9hyhm552njdy5
Installation:
Make sure you have at least 20 mb free in your storage card memory.
Download and Install the CHT2.0 Jdpla7_WallSwitcher Widget .cab in DEVICE. VERY IMPORTANT: install it only in DEVICE memory.
Soft reset.
CHT Menu> edit mode> add new element > Jdpla7_WallSwitcher.
Enjoy!
Uninstallation:
CHT Menu> edit mode> add new element > Jdpla7_WallSwitcher Widget > Unchek (Dissable the widget) and
Go to Setting > Application > Remove programs > select [email protected] Jdpla7_WallSwitcher > click Remove > Soft reset device.

Manila/Sense on many (cooked and stock) ROMs with many versions is sometimes very fragile, So you install this on your own risk, bla, bla, bla ...Please, make a backup before installing!
I have tested the widget in my HTC HD2 and it works fine, I hope it works well on yours too.
Feedback is much appreciated.

[email protected] Again what is there to say that has not been said about your amazing widgets, all I can say my friend is WOW. Thank you for your continues work.
Thanks guys for feed-backing
Yes, we could do a lot of differnt designs just editing the .png files, right now I'm doing a "comic" for my son's phone
very nice my friend, I use the application and is looking nice on my htc hd2
best regards
Many thanks for the wonderful widget. Could you explain how to change the default path "\storage card\..." As I use a french rom, it is called differently.
Many thanks
Hi el_lo,
To do that you need to edit the widget's lua file
If you post here the french path, I could do it for you...but you must be patient because I'm running little short of time
Thanks for comment
Hi [email protected], thanks for your answer. French name for storage card is "carte de stockage"
I think the best would be to use :
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\SDMemory]
"Folder"="MULTILANG_NAME_OF_THE_STORAGE_CARD_IS_HERE"
Using this, you would make your widget compatible with every language.
Hi El_lo,
You're very welcome and thank you for the tip, I will do it for you my friend...just give a few days, OK
Thank you very much ! Take your time

The [email protected]_CHT_AddonLink_Switch_Autocycle_Wall is a small but nice improvement to CHT2.0 which basically autocycle portrait wallpapers every two minutes when the switch is on. It doesn't interfer or afect any CHT wallpaper settings (wall size, wall quality, wall location, etc) and it is a Standalone Addonlink so it should be compatible with any other CHT widgets and fully CHTS integration.
Installation:
Download the attached [email protected]_CHT_AddonLink_Switch_Autocycle_Wall .cab and Install it in DEVICE memory.
Soft reset.
CHT Menu> edit mode> add free link > Toggle Switch > AutoCycle Wallpaper.
Enjoy!
Uninstallation:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!!!
Enjoy!
It is a small widget but a very nice improvement indeed. I am using this Autocycle Wallpaper AddonLink for a few days and I really love seeing wallpapers changing every two minutes. And I have not notice a relevant batt consumption increase.
If any cooker wants to add this wallpaper autocycle switcher -I recommend that- just please give proper credits to [email protected], he is the inspiration and the hard work of it. Then cook it as any other CHT AddonLink.
Now I am enjoying again the wallpapers I am sharing mines here (no self made just found them out there)
>>WALLPAPERS<<
happy Thanksgiving Day too
PS.- a few more wallpapers to share
the masters give us another classic !!!
there seems to be no end to your skills guys. installed and working fine. another great add on for this mighty phone, top work guys, thank you so much !!!
