So I really like the CyanogenMOD Live wallpaper for the Nexus One, however I was wondering how easy it would be to change the background? I want to keep the color of the lines or whatever they're called the same, but just change the background image. If possible, I'd also like the wallpaper to not move, meaning it's the same image across all of my home screens. Any guides or anything on how I can do this? Thanks!
Hi there.
I've had an idea for a Live Wallpaper, but since I suck at coding (yes, I really, really do, I screwed up Hello World! I can't tell you how many times).
The Live Wallpaper would be a graphic EQ with bars that go vertical up the screen that would have a gradient for color (or horizontal during landscape use). This Live Wallpaper would allow custom backgrounds (such as normal wallpapers) but would activate the EQ whenever music is playing.
Colors of the gradient bars could be chosen by the user. Number of bars could be chosen by the user.
Anyone up for doing something like this? I know it's probably a lot of work, just thought it would be something awesome to have.
As title, i know a lot of people have ask, but how to have "true" transparent taskbar and softbar without using the method of matching the wallpaper ?
i'm using different wallpaper in Manila todays and tabs, so the matching wallpaper can only work in either one. Therefore asking here is there others way of doing this?
if i use wide potraits wallpaper in todays(CHT2.0), the matching wallpaper also won't work.

WM isn't dynamically generating the images, and as far as I know, can't be made to. It's using already existing images, and so the only way to achieve a transparent effect is to match the images.
Using a plain image for the menus (like plain black) might not be the ideal solution, but might at least make the wallpaper/menus not look so out of place with each other.
o, thanks for the clarification. Which mean unless i just stick with one wallpaper, else there is no others way of making the transparent effect.
Thanks.
I was stumbling around online and came across a clock .swf that is meant as a screen saver. I thought to myself that this would make an interesting Widget or livewallpaper.
What the clock does is change the background color as time moves on. The clocks numbering is converted to hex and then the associated hex color is used for the background. Check it out...

I would love to see this as a live wallpaper or widget it would be nice to have an ever changing screen
I was looking to use a custom made wallpaper with a shelf for my icons to sit on. I use Multi Picture Live Wallpaper so the images I would be looking for would be 480x800. If anyone has a shelf with the hooks and a rope or something holding it up that would be great! I've seen LauncherPro Docks like that. I've found others before but they didn't seem to be in the correct spot for the icons to neatly sit on them. I've attached some sample's of what I'm looking for and a few wallpapers I've found to share. Anyone else have anything cool they're willing to share?
