Scary to hear. I don't have a backup if mine brakes, sold my last phone to help fund the Bolt, would have to pray Verizon had one readily available.

Lol. I dunno, no predictive text, no spell check, and you have to press each button deliberately. Kinda slows down the texting. Not to mention the 305 incoming text capacity. lol.

Just checked them. The 8100 wont charge. It might be my charger, it might be the port. So, that ones out. Besides poor battery life from the other two, nothing. The BB is probably the most functional of them besides my enV3 which works as it did when it was brand new. lol.
Thats about it... per their twitter account.
That's embarrassing.

+1 definitely is... they could've had the decency to let users know that their service(s) were down ... this caused massive confusion :T
And they're not gonna tell us what the problem was?
Sounds like another sony. Atleast it didnt take nearly a week.
posted with my thunderbolt w/ 1x -_-

Funny thing is probably most of the confusion was with people who had rooted or flashed roms (at least that was my situation). Cause I've read a lot about people restoring old backups and other roms because they saw they were on 1x.

Yea, that happened to me too.. I had just flashed a new ROM earlier when I noticed it was happening.. wasn't sure what was going on so I called Verizon and didn't tell them I had flashed the ROM when they told me about the outage.

Good call. I almost did a restore then saw the news. Still might do a restore though because I'm using the CM7 pre-alpha and there is a terrible mic echo in calls.
did anyone check to make sure the towers are plugged in?

I am pretty happy with the Virus Airborne ROM.. Flashed that this morning, also put adrynalyne kernel on it earlier for an overclock.. now just need the network back up so I can fully enjoy it..

1.21 gigawatts!
1. Unplug tower.
2. Wait 60 seconds.
3. Plug tower back in.
The router method works for several things in life, such as: routers, phone towers, cathode ray tubes, personal air conditioning units, churches, RROD'd 360s, and routers.
4G back up here in Phoenix, AZ. As of the last 10 minutes. Woo hoo! Was at 1x all day.

Churches are the place of worship for the Catholic and Christian religions.
Fun fact: churches float. Similar to very small rocks.
SOOOOOOOOO pissed right now! Driver says he delivered them and the delivery receipt was signed with some random name. Someone was home all day and no one came. They say they are looking into the matter but we both know they are gone and there is no replacing them. I don't want a refund I WANT MY TABLETS!
That's ****ing awful.

Some might be happy to know that both TP were delivered this morning at 8am. No explanation of WTF happened but at this point I don't care.

That's pretty sucky.
There's always another possibility... They could have accidentally delivered them to the wrong place.

So what that illustrates VERY clearly is that your initial post was precipitous and unneccessarily inflammatory.
Unless you think the guy who "stole it" suddenly felt remorse and decided to return them without opening first. Yeah, ok.
All your "pain" was self-generated so it is kind of funny.

This. It happens more than you may think (especially when a different delivery guy is covering for the main one). At least it all worked out in the end.

lol either you are trolling or something is wrong with your device dude.
I get on average 4 hrs screen time 24 hours total and I dont even do anything special.
I would try to get a replacement. Well first try a factory reset somethings not right you should get better battery life than that.

This is awfully trollish. If you have a real battery concern factory resetting, or returning the device is the right course of Action.
I am personally coming from a Galaxy Nexus, and I can personally attest that this is the most solid ICS phone on the market currently.
Nope, we dont allow trolling/flaming/disrespectful threads here. If you have a legitimate reason to be upset with the phone, either take it back where you got it or exchange it for another one.

Okay, so tell me how this happened. I had been working on my SII, flashed a Tmobile Rom earlier and had left the phone sitting next to my daily driver (Pantech Flex) on the desk while I ran a few errands. I came back 30 minutes later and the SII had somehow managed to have the exact same non-stock wallpaper image on the screen as the Pantech. No one else but the dog around. My first thought was some kind of funky NFC stuff going on between the two phones ... Android sex or something. Things that make ya go hmm.

Ha! Yeah I wore gloves when I picked em up. Poor Pantech, it'll probably never be the same. Not that there's anything wrong with it. Haha! Also, I hadn't signed into Google yet, no syncing going on. I've been testing radios (upload/download speeds shooting for proper 4G loads) and not bothering with Google bidness. I'll leave em alone tonight and see if it happens again. Maybe light a candle and put on some Lionel Richie. Ya know, in order to replicate the mysteriousness. All in the name of gizmo science.
Hahaha, this is great! Do you think they can reproduce? Maybe you'll get a brand new phone in a couple of months.(?)
Brought to you by time and relative dimensions in space.
(9 months later) you hear your phone screaming in another room and you ealk in there and you see the pantech give birth to a hybrid Samtech with super high specs. Lol
