Installation:
Like every rom...
After you boot in, you must choose the MIUI theme on adw setting.
In the CyanogenMod settings -> User Interface to change the Clock, Date, and Notifications ticker to white.

YAY been waiting for this been playing around trying to port miui but it doesn't look like its remotely possible, a theme is almost as good in my opinion.

Pershoots Kernel?
It sounds like your basicly just going to do the same thing that I already did. What method of installing his kernel are you using? Is it just a separate flash? Just curious, if you need help with it let me know, I did a full kernel port of this kernel when it was still in the beta stages, and it works fine.

Lol, I actually made them transparent first. I got complaints about not being able to unlock the phone so I made them metallic black. I might lighten them up a little on my next update. Thanks!

ok it themes some apps but not all.
The framework-res.apk as almost fully themed but the 3g and 4g icons along with the signal are still green.

Weird, 3G should be but I have a nexus so no 4G icons in mine. I'll get the icons from the my touch 4G build and release an update. What apps are not themed? Thanks!

I can't really MAKE it work unless I can use the rom but most Gingerbread roms are the same unless the Dev changed something. Give me a link and I can try!

STOCK ROM QR VERSION
Coming soon. Had difficulties uploading
ONLY KNOWN ISSUE IS THAT IT HANGS AT THE LOCKSCREEN ON FIRST BOOT.
Workaround:
Keep phone on for a while than put it on sleep and than plug in the charger once the screen turns on it should bring lockscreen up about 5 sec later.
Brightness is also a obvious Bug but the thing that works for me is Juice Defender Beta.
Intructions:
1.Download Juice defender Beta from the Market (Its Free)
2.open the app and choose advanced options
3.go to controls and choose brightness
4. change the profiles to -60 25 80. In that order
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
NANDROID BEFORE FLASHING ANYTHING! IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE AND POINT AT ME I WILL LAUGH
Step 1: Root (OBVIOUSLY)
Step 2: Download the Rom and place it in your SDCARD
Step 3: Reboot into recovery (i Honestly Suggest AMON RA 2.3 since it never gave me flash problems)
Step 4: Wipe EVERYTHING 4X
Step 5: Boot into ROM (Give it a Minute) and use the Lockscreen workaround
Step 6: HAVE FUN!!
If you are unable to boot the ROM please dont post here before you have tried the above steps AT LEAST 3X
PLEASE POST ANY PROBLEMS YOU HAVE WITH THE ROM AND ANY REQUESTS YOU HAVE ALSO.

How to install this ROM
First of all you have to install the base ROM, the newest base ROM at this moment is v1.0.1!
At first you have to download the zip file of the ROM
After that you extract the .tar file from the .zip
Then you turn off your phone and put it in download mode (turn on with vol down + home button)
Open ODIN and select the file as "one package" and press start
After flashing the ROM is ready for use!!
Enjoy
To install the newest version, first install v1.0.1 and then install the newest version with an update.zip through CWM. Always flash v1.0.1 first!!

AOSP stands for "Android Open Source Project". It is directly from Android. You can search google for more info, right now I am on my phone.
With this AOSP Style ROM I want to achieve a ROM which looks excactly as AOSP is. This because I like the look and performance of it.

Wouldnt it just be easier to dl the launcher and the icons and apply it on ones current rom?

You can do that as well... But this ROM is a trimmed version of HTC GB & i've also messed around with HTC Apps to make the ROM look Googlish ..
At work right now so this was the thing i could quickly. Weekend starts here today so will try to play around with the dump..

As the Title of the ROM says that it is a Clone... Notification Icons are from ICS Dump.. it's not just the launcher...
Two roms and my SD-card is full.
I need to get myself a bigger one but at least it saves me some trouble when I just wanna check and see how a rom looks and feel.

Its in beta stage i.e.. it ain't stable. But still you can make phone calls, click photos, listen to music via file manager.
Graphics, hmmm... red/blue swapped. But when you take a screenshot and upload it on your PC it shows true color , no miss match.
I had replaced gralloc.default.so from stock rom to MIUI (to fix red/blue swapped bug) but the phone got stuck at the initial Samsung Logo. The phone vibrated twice and when I pressed the power, home and volume keys it did vibrate.

You have to flash it over stock rom duh !
First- flash MerrukTechnology Kernel 2.0 via Odin3 1.85
Then follow the instructions given above.
MIUI is only for hdpi devices. Our device is a ldpi device so it technically doesn't support MIUI. But Galaxy y has a really good hardware, so its able to run MIUI.

I just good at porting stuff.
Bugs will get fixed when MadTeam releases its kernel for CyanogenMod 7

im 100% sure if we have a stable CM7 then we can port MIUI, JOYOS, LewaOS
I do agree to above post, without a fully working and stable CM7, then we won't have good ports. Garbage In - Garbage Out as what programmers say.
Anyway, as long as this one can make a call and send SMS, I can deal with it. The last MIUI port I tried, the SMS app gets FC's all the time and it can't get a signal.

Was wondering if you could give me Chobits NitroSpeed tweaks for my MIUI Rom to stabilize it.
Also, can you give me necessary comands(i.e. permissions etc etc) for updater-script to make your Chobits NitroSpeed tweaks work and embed it in my MIUI Rom ?
