Angry Birds Begin Hatching On Android
This week, we were planning to run a closed beta test of Angry Birds Lite for Android. Due to the massive response and demand from the Android community, we have decided to make Angry Birds Lite Beta available for everybody through the Android Market this Friday.
Please note that this will be the beta version of the application which is still undergoing final testing before official release. Angry Birds Lite Beta is presented on an "as is" basis, and we cannot guarantee its functionality on every Android device.
Angry Birds Lite Beta will run on second generation Android devices and upwards.
We have tested the game on a number of Android devices, and we would love to hear your feedback on how the game is performing on your personal device. Should you have any problems running Angry Birds Lite Beta, you can simply click the report a bug button in the main menu of the game to provide us with direct feedback.
We want to ensure that we will publish the best game ever released on Android, and we hope that this beta version will prove to our Android fans that Angry Birds has been worth the wait!
More information on Friday when we have the game available on Android Market.

anyways, i've played this for iPad and it is TONS of fun. can't wait! thanks for the info OP!

So I've heard of this game and so figured it must be something special. But I played it for a minute when checking out the new iPhone at an ATT store..and didn't see the big deal. Looked like one of those games found all over the net where you try to slingshot something as far as you can. Does it go more in depth than that?

Yes, it does go into more depth. It's not just a see how far you can sling game.
You have to kill round green pigs with the birds. The pigs are protected by different types of barriers (wood, ice, concrete) that all break and react somewhat differently. There are also different types of birds that have secondary actions that can be triggered mid-air. Some birds split into more birds, some explode, and some go faster.
That's as far as I've gotten...there could be more types of birds/barriers. The first levels are obviously easier, but as you go on - like any good game - it becomes more challenging and you have to adjust your strategy and put at least a little thought into your approach.

I think I played it before on my itouch if its the same game then yea it was cool

I forgot the name of the arcade game it's based on... something TV... where you're a contestant trying to win cash and get to the next stage. It was basically two joytsticks for each player. Now it's going to bug me all day until I remember the name... hahaha

They should add multiplayer

[GAME] Legend of the Blue Dragon

2nd app release for me.. I used to play this great BBS game called legend of the red dragon (lord) and yes, showing my age on this one
Anyway, created an api, installed the game on my server and then created the app.
Its free too.. has 2 inapp purchases but not required for game play..(remove ads/buy extra gold)
Some details:
The premise of LORD is that a Red Dragon is wreaking havoc in a town where the player has recently arrived. Multiple players compete over a period of weeks to advance their skills and to kill the dragon. In order to achieve this goal, players must face combat to gain experience. Once they have gained enough experience, they must face their master at Turgon's Warrior Training and advance in skill level. Advancement presents stronger enemies and masters; a player must reach level 12, the final level, before challenging Turgon himself and attacking the dragon.
As a BBS game, LORD uses a text-only interface.

Recommendation for your next app: Swords of Chaos, another great fantasy BBS RPG
(Or alternatively, Planets - LORD in Space!)

We should be able to press/click on a players name and see some info about them. Whatever our character would see just by looking at them( if they are heavily armed, strong, fast...etc). Maybe an avatar too.

I was a lord master. I could rise to the top so quickly admin reset the server due to complaints I was 'hacking'.
I loved renaming the strongest weapon in the game to "a stick". Probably why people thought I was hacking. Loved lord and am now getting into this blue dragon game.

Fun game. Finding the options are too small. I was fighting a higher level enemy and was almost about to win when I accidentally tapped run vs fight. They are too small and close together to easily select things. In the weapons and armor stores you have buttons. Perhaps buttons for fight and run in a row, then automatic options in the next row?
Pretty cool game. I like it. Its simple and I didn't want to put it down last night.

Google.. working to get it back in the market.. I am attaching it here for you though. This is also the newest version. I have started the process of putting most of my apps on amazon since google basically can close your account for zero reason and no recourse but send them email which will go unanswered.. sorry.. a bit pissed about the whole situation.

I removed option to remove remove ads via purchase and the ability to buy gold both of which used inapp purchases but since google screwed me.. I am releasing it to amazon which does not support google inapp purchase.
Its been over a week that google killed my account and still no reply to my question of why.

hunh! interesting.. just this morning i bought it for 99 cents.. I'm on TmoUS too.. (attached is screenshot of my receipt).. wonder if they pulled the offer? that would be wrong on their part given this was supposed to last all day today..

I didn't see temple run nor angry birds either. I ended up buying that mini racin game and guns and glory ww2
