These are also located in astronouts thread up top but i thought I'd repost them here, these are the sms skins I have personally converted to work on the HTC Mega. I do not claim to have created any of them, I just re-wrote the css's and edited the images to run on our fantastic phone.
If it doesnt work, uninstall then install SDKCerts and reinstall your chosen skin

I'm making another original skin like Omnia atm (I like the Omnia skin, looks kinda neon-ish) but my next skin is going to be completely different.

The animated skin is coming along nicely but re-writing the css files the way I want is harder than I expected.

Can you make an iphone type based on light blue background with white and grey (or light yellow) text boxes? Sounds boring but I like a clean version.

Speech bubbles are ok.....lighter blue indeed than default iphone and white or light yellow instead of the green

I dont mind doing just plain text boxes if thats what you'd prefer.
I'll get working on it after ive finished my current skin, wont take 10 minutes.

Hi, After I installed, it doesn't work well. Is there something wrong? I installed Minishhippo_Iphone skin first. Then I restart. Nothing changed. So I install sdkCerts again. and I reinstall Minishhippo_Iphone skin. Still not working. Please give me a guide line. Thanks.

Odd are you using a touch 2/mega? because if not there are 2 additional steps required. let me know.

go to setting > system > remove applications and find the skin, soft reset and you're done.

This is my pack of android icons I have been working on for a week or so,I offer this for free and the version contains 105 icons and will grow a lot over time. I will also have a market version in a few days that will be a donate version with about 30 more that will be updated a lot more than this free version also I will take request for app icons you may want.
HOW TO USE: Unzip and put the folder on root of S.D and use bettercut to apply.

This only changes the shortcuts right? Is there an easy way to change the app drawer icons as well? Also, these icons are smaller then the stock icons for some reason so everyhthing looks tiny.

I have a problem though. I have installed better cut and have tried to change a couple of my icons. Whenever I have changed one (either pick or crop), in the preview it looks fine but when I go to the home page the new icon is missing part of the right hand side of the image. The Androids all seem to be missing the arm on the right (as you look at them). Any ideas?

[ThemeNews] Palm Pre Screen Like Theme NOT A RELEASE YET

I dont know if this thread is going to get ripped to shreds, or if anyone really cares. Also im sorry ive been delaying my "Sophie Theme" but to me this topic made the delay well worth it.
Now to the point, a while ago me and manup were trying to achieve making a theme with a palm pre like screen border. After two days of trying no avail. That was about two months ago. No i have been able to achieve this effect by editing the Titlebar shadow and the helix launcher dock. Im posting a screenshot but i will be posting a picture of the phone so you can actually see the real feel of this because the screenshot to me really isnt doing this effect any justice. So here is the screenshot.
With this thread id also like to know if this is something our theme users would like to see in furture themes.

This is a pic taken with a cliq xt i dont have a camera so i cant get a better picture of this effect.

And yes i know my screen is cracked it sucks, it works though. My deductible is 130 and cant afford atm.

Omg I didn't think it could be done! I completely understand why the screenshot doesn't do it justice, simply add a border in an image editing program and the effect will look more complete without having to be displayed on the device itself.
I recommend a thick border to about the width of the black whatever part of the screen around the Nexus. It will give people a general idea of the theme.

I wasn't referring to adding the border on the actual Nexus, just the screenshot you posted to demo the effect.

Ok my buddy just pointed out that this effect was achieved in the g1 theme called darkstar. lol here i was so excited.

Like the look of your stuff regardless. Will definitely give them a run as they get released on latest CM mods.
Nice to see some additional theme options coming.

Yea.. it was on that theme.. I remember having it and loving it on my G1.
The effect wasn't just on the launcher though, it was universal (all through out) most if not the entire theme. Regardless, you did a good job, it still looks nice.. don't know why no one is commenting.

This is kinda off topic but I was just curious. What app is that with the Golf flag on the green (second from the top). Thanks for the reply.

looks really nice. i used to not like the icons but now they look cool. ill have to give this one a run. i was a big fan of the webOS theme for the G1 before palm said no more. i would like to see it come back to life without being shut down by palm...or ah HP.

And here are a couple wallpapers done with the overlay. Don't mind the right edge of some, it won't show up when you set it. Make sure you disable wallpaper scrolling with LauncherPro and set it to 5 icon rows.

Now, to set this up, you will need Desktop Visualizer, Smart Shortcuts (if you want the "folder" popups when you click the page name), and LauncherProPlus to resize the big icons unless you use a smaller size which might not look as good. Use DV to set the shortcuts as widgets. All of them are sized 2x1 except the big one. Set the big one first otherwise you won't have room in the end before resizing.
Edit: Forgot to post the dock earlier. It's a slightly modified version of the Weiss dock.

When setting the shortcut action with DV, click on other, scroll to Smart Shortcuts, then pick which group you want to pop up.

Is there any way to get some more detail about set up? I've never used some of these apps. Sorry for being so new to this.

Oooh sorry, you have to set it to 5 icon rows in the advanced settings.

This would be really cool in light pink. I would definitely be willing to donate for one.

[MOD(s)] Lunie's Junkyard Thread for CHT 2.0

Here are some things i dropped that didn't quite make it into my new theme.
Give any feedback these are made for eye candy if anything is not of efficiency i do apologize as these were inspired by some ideas from my favorite artists.

Also to make it clear these are made from scratch though I did happen to trace some things and evidently used Photoshop to cut it out and modify it but still at least 99 percent of the icons are made from scratch ^^' (in PS terms of course >.>)

Well these are some things I dropped during the making of my theme. I think some of you will like it which is why im uploading. Some are an icon pack for the softkeys and some are standalone docks. Be sure to download the right ones you can always uninstall it by choosing the .cab again and it'll go right to the default one you had before.
