I have a rooted evo running virusrom, running froyo,how can I get the eclair lockscreen? And I don't want a knockoff app.

Well since your on froyo idk if you want the eclair lockscreen. However since that lockscreen is known as the vanilla lockscreen a simple removal of the HTC one will make it appear. Just delete HTCLockscreen.apk using root explorer or adb. Also, you might want to find and flash the vanilla cloc, because you can't turn off the htc alarm with the vanilla lockscreen.

As the name suggests this MetaMorph will give you a clear lockscreen in htc's sense. I put this together to run on my Nexus running Modaco's r21 Desire port but this should be ok on any version. As a bonus you can change the status icons also
Just to be safe please do a backup first

That's a feature of sense. All his morph does is change the stock sense lockscreen to a transparent lockscreen

Ok since nobody knows if there is a stock low res, i did my best to make one that looked stock. Just install it with a file explorer, it works perfectly, and can "coexist" with the stock one.

Here's a working modification to the Lucid 4.1 theme by sonnysekhon found HERE for the CM6.1.2 Wimax Rom. All props go to him or her.
The only changes I made to the theme is the kinda flat gray gingerbread lockscreen tabs (frankensteined from the Gingerbread theme, also by sonnysekhon) and fixed some framework stuff that didn't jive with the ROM. I don't really plan on doing more to it, just figured I'd share

Agreed! Funny, I think the lack o screenshots has resulted in limited response.. oh well. I found a nice font that I'm thinking of adding and maybe updating a few things like Twitter, if I can.. anyone out there want that?

Switch to miui. Only way you will get that lockscreen.
There was a team working on a honeycomb style lockscreen that was along this line, maybe you could suggest adding features simaler to this. I'll come back to when i find the relevant thread.

from what i've heard, you can't get the MIUI lockscreen on another rom because you need the frameworks and things like that.
