[Q] Can I flash a Verizon TP2 to a Sprint TP2 - Touch Pro2 CDMA

I know you can flash a Sprint touch Pro to the Verison Network but I wanted to go the other way. If I have a Verizon TP2 can I flash or use it on the Sprint network? Thanks in advance.

technically yes, but good luck getting sprint to activate it, as a matter of policy they wont activate any phone that doesnt have their logo on it (verizon actually has the same policy)

legally, it'll never happen.

So technically if one was to try it and then sweet-talk Sprint into it, how would one go about it? Do you have to flash the Sprint version of the Radio? I already tried wiping and then just selecting "Sprint" using Mighty Mike's MightyROM carrier selection tool

your going to have to create a ticket with sprint to add the esn to sprint but it will take 7-15 business days

Re-provisioning CDMA TP2 data settings for another network?

What would be involved in reprovisioning a CDMA TP2 (ie. flashed with MightyROM) for another carrier, in regards to data settings?
Say Carrier "X" allows foreign ESNs on their system but does not have the TP2 in their lineup.
Now would it be a simple matter of copying and editing the EPST information (sourced from a Diamond) and loading an updated PRL?
Depends on the carrier: MetroPCS requires that you use Metroflash (thier re-branded Houdini), while others may not care how you did it as long as you pay the bill. I and several others have already added TP2's to MetroPCS successfully, though this is not a simple procedure and requires you to make most of the changes manually and then tell Metroflash/Houdini that the phone is a TP1.
As for exactly what must be done, I can't answer that without knowing what network you're trying to get on.
Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 to Sprint
I have a similar issue. I just flashed mt TP2 from verizon over to sprint but now its time to deal with the data settings and provisioning. I have voice and text fine but not internet. I have the same question as someone earlier about copying the settings from my HTC Mogul over to this Verizon branded now flash to sprint TP2 would work. Thanks.

Want to know if phone can be flashed to metro pcs?

So i want to get a sprint hero, but want to know if it could be flashed to metro pcs first.
Since it's CDMA I don't think you can change carriers. Your best bet is to phone sprint and ask, because there's no SIM card I assume any switch-over would have to be initiated at Sprints end.

Both of them are CDMA, they offer a service that flashes sprint or verizon phones to work on their cdma network.\
I plan a keeping my G1 but dont want to get into a contract again.

i have a sprint touch pro 2 and im trying to use it with att service...

Hello,
I have a sprint touch pro 2 its unlocked and im trying to use it with att service and i need to delete the sprint settings for the internet and put atts in but i dont know how and was wondering if someone can please help me..
thanks
unfortunitly the sprint phone works off of a different type of network..
Sprint = CDMA
ATT = GSM
they are not compatable with each other..
how ever there is a member with a ATT touch pro 2, that needs a TP2 that works on a CDMA network... maybe you 2 can work something out and trade?

i suggest flashing a new rom if you hardspl on your phone and olipro unlocked your phone
did you unlock your phone yourself using the links here or sprint told you it's not locked? your phone is not locked for using outside the us but is locked from using us sims unless you unlocked it with the hardspl and olipro method mentioned. the process is spelled out on these boards and ppcgeeks. after that you need to add the att settings to connect to the internet. i'm sure you can find those settings here or ppcgeeks. i have not done this myself but i've seen enough links on the subject here.

Friend, you are going to be very happy.... go to this url for detailed instructions for using your sprint tp2 on ATT.

It worked fine for me
Make sure you pull out any SD card and ensure your AT&T SIM card is installed throughout the process.
No 3G though no one seems to have defeated that roadblock yet.
Make sure you do not flash anything but Hard-SPL until you have succeeded. You might find you are already unlocked by booting the tricolor bootloader mode (power on with down volume depressed) and looking for olinex on the second or third line also look for "Security Unlocked" on the top, otherwise you need to sim and carrier unlock it. The link about gives you all the details.
Best of luck mate
Once you have flashed the radio described at the end of the video, remember to ONLY use CDMA ROMs, a GSM ROM can brick you even though you are using a GSM radio mode, only use ROMs specific for the Sprint CDMA, I recommend NRGs ROM for CDMA after they reboot they setup all your ATT settings for you. What more could you ask for?
Works for me as well, but I'm using the June 11th release of EnergyRom for CDMA phones.
Here's what I did:
1. Hard SPL unlock (free)
2. Flash the ROM of your choice, I used EnergyRom (free)
3. Do the SIM Security Unlock (~$20USD)
4. Then flash a World Unlocked radio to your phone (free)
Once you have a World Unlocked radio flashed, then you can pop in the SIM card of your choice, change the phone to GSM mode, then the phone will pop up a menu to provision settings for that network provider. The CDMA Touch Pro 2's do not have the bands needed to support 3G in the US, so you will be only on 2.5G Edge Net speeds.
Happy hacking

N-920T & AT&T Data Issues

Is anyone using the T-Mobile Note 5 on AT&T? I am having data problems where I do not get data, but can send and receive texts, and also make calls. I switch to the Cingular APN and it works, but then goes out.
I have tried the Nxtgen phone apn and also phone apn, and no luck.
I know im not answering your question, but are you able to use the VOLTE feature on your tmobile phone on the at&t network? or even HD calling?
Actually At&t messed up my provisioning. You asked about those features, I would recommend you download Darthstalkers Rom Version 4, choose n9200A, it will install the at&t carrier files.
Just make sure to add the ATT Phone APN, do not use the nextgen phone apn.
Why do you suggest not using NextGen APN. I use it on all my phones and it's perfect your funny
I have been thinking of paying off my unrooted phone and switching to cricket. When I put my IME number to check compatibility it said it wasn't. So, I'm a bit confused. Is this phone compatible with ATT LTE or not. I thought that ATT and Cricket were the same?

No its not unloocked. But I will unlock it soon. Good to now that I can use it on ATT or cricket if I want. Really tired of Tmo.
Thanks.

Can S8+ Verizon be used with Sprint?

Can S8+ Verizon (paid in full) be used with Sprint? If so, what do I need to do? Should I have it unlocked from Verizon? Should I flash a Sprint Rom to it in order to get Sprint feature like Wi-Fi calling? Thanks.

It looks like the key is getting your phone manually added to their system so it'll work. Doing the carrier rom swap in the help section would give you everything a Sprint phone would come with.
