Adobe Reader (9.0.2, not 10.0) is available for free at Handango.com.

It was removed because Google Maps was updated with Google Navigation and it's ONLY for Android 1.6 and 2.0.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to download it anymore from the market at least until we get Android 2.0 on our phones.
Here is version 3.1.2 from my phone. Please UNZIP it before you try installing it. I suggest using ASTRO File Manager to install the .apk file.

Hi guys, I recently installed Foxit onto my HD2 and after i realised that was worse than Adobe Reader 2.5 Le, I removed it. Adobe reader seems to have vanished, and I can't find the version that was included in the HD2 initially, which seemed to be optimised for the phone. Does anyone have a cab file for this version perhaps? (I've tried the standard 2.5 Le cabs which don't have multitouch support etc)

You probably have a AdobeReaderLe.exe in main Windows folder in your device. Just make a shortcut in Start menu folder. Use a Resco Explorer to associate pdf files again with the Adobe Reader.

I have Adobe Reader LE 2.5 cooked in the ROM. But when I opened a pdf it doesn't show text, just blank pages with embedded pictures and graphics. What is wrong? Needed fonts are missing or what? Need help to resolve this issue. I can view the same file on a laptop.

It's the same. It even shows 2.5.0.0 in version tab
so what would be the solution to override the cooked version of adobe reader with the one 2.5.2 or 2.5.1 ?

Override like in "open with"? Best solution is using Resco Explorer, open with -> associate with your newest Adobe program, like techops said...
i have the same problem....no luck so far !
That also happened to me but i succesfully downloaded from here and installed it, and its working good exept the fact that i cant pinch zoom... any ideas?

I'm on CM 5.0.6 and using Astro, and it works fine for me.

astro is working for me as well now, I don't know why it wasn't working at first.

another question, does anybody know why our phones can send contact cards, but when someone sends us a contact it doesn't know what to do with it? For instance if i send a contact card to an iphone user, when the iphone user clicks on the email, the phone will ask "add contact to contact list?" Good thing for astro, at least i'm able to view the contents of the contact card now.

Why not just flash the google apps addon and use the Market app?

Yeah, the second step when installing cyanogenmod is to install the google apps. No one would use cyanogenmod if they couldn't have the market.

I think stock 'Ebook.app' requires stock 'Framework' to install and work (it also needs 'My Files.app'), somebody correct me if wrong...

try this, open with winrar, 7zip, winzip or any archiever application, add your desire .apk file to system/app then flash it via CWM (system app only). This work for ICS CM9/AOKP, not tested yet to any GB ROM base, just let me know if its working
