my samsung omnia i900 movistar branded got from spain, stucks at screen calibration/alignment, tried many time, do not go further, tried hard reset like holding both buttons and reset. same situation. now couldn't know it's rom version.
let me know what to do now. tried almost all roms from all countries at http://www.samsungmobile.com/support/omnia/index.jsp but it says incorrect version and do not update.
where to contact to get update for it, is this software problem or hardware related., HELP

hello,
i am new in this forum and i am two day´s samsung s galaxy user. After i have boght the phone i realised that the shop was selling branded phone which not even branded in my country. I already updated my phone to Froyo by using Kies 2.0 but i did not realised that the installed software and stupid start up screen wont go away. I even deleted it before with root rights but after firmware upgrade all is back.
Now i have searched the web how to do it with Odin i have found very helpful friend who will help me do it but the quesiton is that not sure which files to use or can i do it or not.
here is my phone info:
PDA: I9000XWJPH
Phone: I9000xxjpp
CSC: i9000PLSJP3
Which is the new files i should use when i want to get rid of the branded phone and start using it normally and after factory reset i dont have some polish language on the phone again.
I hope some one can help me out with it i know there is lots of post in this forum about how to flash

Hi, well i rooted my vodafone 845 some time ago but i have serious problems now. At first i tried set cpu well it was fun but it like crashed and nothing helped, i didint know what to do, so i rooted it again like i did the first time i used fzf eclair 5.2 rom and then my camera did not always work, well i thought maybe it will work if i root it again. And it didint it f****d even more i followed alls the steps carefully but now the camera doesnt work at all and i cant even lock the phone it has no lock! When i rooted it i deleted the firmware backup so i dont have one now. I have only a New zealand fimrware from Huaweidevice com and i dont know how to write it in to phone. And a other problem is that i live in lithuania and i dont know if it will work fine with it. Guys please dont ignore this thread i dont know how to fix this phone i am a noob at rooting and rom writing. If somebody would help i would be really thankefull.
P.S
i am from lithuania so i think i need lithuanian firmware. And huawei device com only has new zealand and they deleted the other country firmwares dont know why.

A while ago i bricked my SGS and i tried to repair it by reflashing it with the old firmware. However i cant seem to find the firmware that works for my mobile. The threads that are pointing to firmware files are not very helpfull if its about what firmware version to use.
I got a Dutch T-mobile SGS I9000. I got it around May 2011.
Does anyone have an idea which pit and firmware file i need to use. I have flashed my mobile phone with like ten different firmwares now and none have worked past the boot screen or the galaxy s logo. All help would be apreciated!

I purchased recently a galaxy note edge online. I live in UAE. To my surprise the phone was a Korean Olleh SM-N915K instead of a middle east UAE version SM-N915F. It had a lot of Korean programs in addition to an Arabic interface. I tried checking for update but it gave me a message that the android OS was tempered with and it is rooted and I can not check for update. I am a novice in this issue so I thought if I do a factory reset things will be back to normal but unfortunately the phone hanged on the android boot screen and I had to do some web search to eventually hard reset and then attach to Kies 3 to re download the firmware/ROM. Now the phone has the genuine Korean software and can check for updates and I changed the interface to English with Arabic support but I lost some features mainly location related applications. I tried to root again and install another software for the middle east/ UAE area but every attempt was a failure. It can only re-install the Korean software.
the phone is an octacore one. The other software I tried to install was the XSG version for UAE.
I am sure that some kind of similar software was installed after rooting of the phone initially when I used for the first time, probably tailored for the UAE and it could use the location service adequately and this explains the initial Arabic interface.
I need your help in finding this UAE software and any needed steps and softwares to re-install it and fix this problem
