Can I transfer a bought app to my workphone ?
I have bought an app from marked, that I dont use, but I could use it on my workphone instead...
Is there anyway to transfer a bought app from one account to an other account ?
Nothing illegal, I dont want to try and copy the apk or something, and I dont need it on the account I bought it on (didnt know it at the time), I could just use it mutch better on my other workphone account...
What I am looking for, is like a "give a gift" option, or something like that...

I suppose you could if you set up the same gmail account on both phones, i'm just guessing here but try it to me it feels like the sole reason to sync your life to one place.

Im guessing that this is your country's firewall problem, this you can only combat with either using a proxy service or routing all your traffic through VPN.
wow that maybe good and bad, I dont really like fb anyway

You can try this way:
Root your phone, use root explore to modify host (/etc/host)
And some people say communism doesn't work!
facebook apps on android drains my battery & mobile data soo fast
i only using facebook via android browser.

JottaCloud recently released their app for their Google Play Store and it is basically like a cloud storage back up for Android. You can set it up so it automatically backs up your photos, MMS, SMS, and songs to the cloud. It is like DropBox but even better.... and more storage.
You have to keep in mind though...
They are offering you only 5 GB initially...but if you sign up and download the android app ..you get an addition 10 GB...
Do the MATH..
5 GB + 10 GB = 15 GB...WOW!!!!
Learn more about the app here:

How do you get the extra space? I see nothing referencing that.

edit: you need to actually use the app to get the 10gb bonus. i just synced my contacts and immediately got it.
Downloaded the app, signed up with the app, only received a short welcome email. Stuck at 5gb. Their refer a friend bonus it pretty generous though, 5gb extra for both. (send me pm if op is already at his limit and you need a hookup)

I really like the service so far. I'm just wondering how secure my data will be on a start up like this in case they go bankrupt or something. What do you guys think?

Running eclipse rom on galaxy s3, jottacloud sync will literally not stop. It syncs, finishes sync, starts to sync again. I had to turn off auto sync to get it to stop. Anyone else experience anything like that?

Well..personally...
I am sure they would give you time to download your data before they close their doors down. I really doubt they will just vanish overnight with no warning.
Thanks! This is awesome! Here is my referral link to join so you can get the extra 5gb!! http://www.jottacloud.com/signup?referer=AEE6E4A3EB51AD9904946AA98ECCD8AB

And by "so YOU can get the extra 5GB", y'all mean "so I can get 5GB more", right? Haha!
Not sure what the point of this is. I signed up kind of on impulse (and got the 10GB extra) but I don't know what I'd really use it for. I may just uninstall.
Contacts... Google backs that up anyway. I suppose if you're running CyanogenMod sans Gapps, this would be good. Otherwise... Why?
SMS/MMS... I don't know about y'all but once the message is received and responded to (or not) I'm done with it. Not sure why you'd want to keep them around.
Pictures... Dropbox automatically uploads my pictures, so I already have a solution for that. This offers more space, though, so there's that.
Music and video... For one, I have videos I don't wanna sync. Two, it would take longer to download them from the Internet than it would take for me to just copy them back from my computer. So why would I want to waste time uploading all that multimedia? Even if I do it while I sleep, if I need it back, downloading would take more time than transferring it via USB/WiFi.
It's a nice app. Would be nicer with an inverted/black theme, but that's a minor gripe. And it will probably show up in a later version. A Google Play commenter mentioned 4G/LTE sync. LTE would be faster than my home WiFi/DSL, but I haven't got it. For those of you who do (and have unlimited data) this feature is definitely a noticeable omission.
I really use cloud storage quite often. Jottacloud has very good integration with all OS and offers great pricing. Free users get a lot of storage no charge. Can't see a downside.

This isn't like dropbox. It automatically gets your SMS/pictures etc from your phone and uploads them. No files or anything for you to choose and upload.
Works perfectly. Already clicked on someone's referral, so got extra 5 GB. Only downside is that there is no option to select manually what you want in the cloud.
Here is my refferal if anyone needs it.

As the title says, I cannot access my hotmail email account via any email apps (Stock, Aqua, K9, MailDroid) while connected to the T-Mobile network. Internet access works just fine.
Now, if I connect to a WiFi network using the same settings, not changing anything, it will work just fine.
I contacted T-Mobile, and they said I need to contact Google about this problem, as it's not their fault that no apps can connect via their network.
So, XDA members, what do I do?
Switch providers! Sure that would mean moving to Canada if you wanted to use another provider that supports the Sidekick, but would that really be so bad?
In all seriousness, I have utterly no idea.
It's a Microsoft conspiracy. They want you to switch to Windows Phone. Just kidding.
Sorry. No clue on that one. It seems like the apps are configured to only work on wifi.

If it was all apps, I would suggest talking to T-mobile about the status of your ESN, but you indicated you had net access otherwise.
Sent from my SGH-T839 using xda app-developers app
Yeah, I have net access otherwise just fine. Even my gmail works fine over T-Mobile. But trying to access my hotmail via it, will tell me "Cannot connect to server", or a variation on that error depending on what email app it is.
Wifi works just fine... I don't know what to do. T-Mobile is still adamant that their network is fine, and I need to "Call the Google" , as a rep stated. XD

I'm pretty sure it's just the web interface changing, and phasing out the old web interface. the email addresses remain the same.
That's exactly what it is, just saying I have never had an issue with gmail on an android
But maybe. This may help

Last night, I lost my phone while I was out partying. Im not that upset about the loss, since I was going to upgrade it to a Nexus 4 anyway. The only thing that worries me, is that if someone finds the phone, they have acces to all my Google services, Facebook, etc.
Is there a way to prevent that? A way to log me out on all devices?
Anything that can prevent people from accesing my private information. I had my Gmail, my drive files, etc. on the phone.
Im afraid my lockscreen was on "slide to unlock" aswell. So there is not much protection there.
I really hope you can help me out here. It was a Galaxy Nexus running Cyanogenmod.

If it was linked to a microsoft exchange account, you can make it do a remote wipe.
next time use avast antivirus with anti-theft, great app, you can lock your smartphone via remote...

oh its not good at all. you should change your all passwords as soon as possible, and the next step is to inform your nearest police station about this lost.

Ive used almost all of them. cerberus has been the best one yet. I can control all the devices connected with my license without having to swap gmail accounts. But each person is allowed their own opinion. So if you like androidlost kudos to you.
You can use one gmail for unlimited devices on androidlost
Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2
Are you sure? If the other devices use a different gmail address you have to log in with that email. Atleast that is what I had to do.
Looking at the guide page confirms it uses whatever gmail address is on the phone. I used this for a while until I bought cerberus, dont get me wrong it is nice but IMO not the same or better. I suggest it to anybody that wants a free tracking app.
