Hi All.
Not sure if this is the best place to post, or even if I'm allowed!
I'm looking for a couple of really **** hot Android developers. I'm not looking for an apps developer, I want someone who has worked at kernel level and really knows about the internals of the OS and what makes it tick!
The project is for a small UK based company. Ideally you will be able to live in the UK, but for exceptional candidates, remote working might be offered. The project is scheduled to finish in April 2012, so this could work out to be a very lucrative piece of work.
Day rate: £Negotiable!
If you are interested, please send me an email to mike.roberts at nextpartners co uk or send me a pm.
Many thanks,
M

Hi All,
I have been asked by a UK charity to develop some software to support people with brain injury. I’m not being paid to do this as the charity has little or no funding, but if the resulting software has commercial applications we retain the rights to exploit it. I’ve managed to convince a few people and major mobile networks to help out for free to get this moving and we’re at a critical stage.
I’ve scoped out the project and designed all the features. I’m skilled in C++ but not in Android and I really need someone who is to help us out.
Though we can’t pay you, you will own a part of the resulting company and we hope to provide a commercial service by April next year and that will mean you will have a full time job and directorship when we do.
If you have spare time, understand that money is not the only thing in life, want to help start up a company and are willing to support us in our efforts to help this charity please get in touch via my email or phone and I'll give you some more info.
You can be based anywhere in the World as this can be done remotely.
Thanks you so much for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you.

PS If this isn't for you but you know anyone who might be interested please pass this message on to them..
I sent you a PM. I have a family member in a situation where this kind of software can make a huge difference. I'm interested in hearing more about the project.
My company is looking for two contract developers for an Android App. One must be able to work on site (Salt Lake City Area, Utah) and the other must be able to visit the site for at least two days.
If this is interesting to you, it is urgent and we want you to start on the project by next Tuesday, July 12th. This would be a 120 to 160 hour project and would be paid on an hourly basis. I don't exactly know the market rate for a project like this, but I believe it could be a very good August for you if this works out in July.
The only requirement is that you've published at least one Android App for public consumption and it didn't completely suck.
Send me a private message if you're interested and want more details.
Hi folks.
We are organising a little Android get together in the UK in March of next year. The event is aimed squarely at Android users, and we 'think' it's the only event of it's kind in the UK. It won't be anywhere near as big and fantastic as the Big Android BBQ state side, but we hope it will at least be as much fun.
We have folk coming from the Three UK media team, Tom Mleko the big cheese from Hyperbees, Tha Phlash the incredible icon designer is coming over from Canada, and HTC have stated they will get involved in some form.
The event will take place on Saturday 9th of March at the MadLab in Manchester running from mid-day to 5-6 O'clock with some snacks and drinks. Although we will be having speakers, and possibly workshop/Q & A sessions, the main focus is getting to know the wider Android community. A large number of Android blogging sites have all given their supprt, as have Clove Technology. With a little luck we will have some goodies to give away on the day as well.
If you are interested you can find out more on the website http://www.marchofthedroids.co.uk/, or comment here and I will try and answer any questions you might have.
Even better is if you can offer support/sponsorship in way as every little help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there!
I haven't been online too much with this account... But Im back up, ready to work.
Today I got a message from OnePlus forum member kutzki saying he had read my thread about the creation of a smartwatch. He said he had some ideas that could help me, and we started talking. After a long chat, we decided to start thinking, creating, designing, and eventually producing our own smartwatch! Doesn't that sound great?
We were planning some stuff and got to the conclusion that we needed a team to help us here.
We aren't just kidding, we want to take this to the next level. The goal is to turn this idea, into a real project, and with the help of some Kickstarter supporters, turn this into a product.
The main idea is to create a SmartWatch that stands out. We want our device to have all those features users want, but big companies don't offer in their watches! We want to make something truly revolutionary.
To achieve this goal, we first need a team, we need people with determined skills, to help us with this amazing project!
We are looking for the following fields:
Motherboard designer (Skills to design a whole motherboard for a SmartWatch, and visual design)
Hardware specialist (Experts in hardware design, implementation, and functionality) (Smartwatch hardware)
Graphic designers (Skills and creativity to sketch/draw/design a Smartwatch)
Developers (iOS, Android, Windows Phone applications)
Marketing specialist (Expert in marketing, advertising and communications)
If you are interested in any of this position, don´t hesitate to apply for it by filling in this form:

I hope you all have a good December,
JuanL and Kutzki
P.S. This will not be a paid job unless we get a product and start production. At that point everyone should recieve their salary.
Still no one?
Isn't anyone interested in this?
There are already 7 of us, and we are ready to work.
Come on guys!
Anyone? Come on guys! Aren't there any hardware specialists?
Isnt there soneone willing to joins us?
Good Evening and Happy Holidays to all,
I am a CEO of a new tech start up and I'm looking for quality developers that can design and develop a prototype of my app idea. I currently don't have any money to offer but I'm willing to offer stock, a seat on the board, and possibly A CTO position within my newly created company. If you're a developer who is experienced with developing on Android, be willing to sign a mutual NDA, & be willing to work for stock please let me know.
Thank You
