I would like the orginal Widget modded... with contact pic, you understand me??
Sorry im from spain i speak a little english.

Just so you know, the Facebook app only shares contact pictures with native apps (e.g. dialler).
I've avoided adding this feature to Last Call Widget to avoid bad feedback from users who might think that *my* app doesn't show Facebook pictures.

Agenda One - App

Hi, I bought agenda one from the app store (marketplace) a while ago and find it a really good app.
One thing I can't get to work though is to allow agenda one contacts and calendar to overide the HTC programs. When you install agenda one it asks if you want it to be the default contact and calendar application. I chose yes and its altered in the options menu but the contacts and calendar buttons still revert to HTC program. Does anyone know how to chanfe this?
Thanks in advance
Change this even!
No-one any idea?
which buttons u mean? can u make a screenshot?

I also use Agenda One but have never been able to get it to work as the default calendar with HTC Sense. This probably doesn't help you but Agenda One works fine as the default calendar when using SpB Mobile Shell, although you do need to download a plugin from SpB for Agenda One.
Hi,
Could anybody help me with one of the settings for Agenda One, when a particular birthday or anniversary occurs, I would like the age in years of the event to be dispalyed, similar to this: John Smith (45)
anybody got any ideas
thanks
Trev
I use Agenda One with CoOkie's Home Tab. With the CHTEditor you can choose which app you want to open.

missed it app/minimalistic text question

any way to incorporate minimalistic text with sms unread or to make the app missed it to open applications
I like missed it a lot however i don't like how it's not able to be clicked. like i have minimalistic text set up on my homescreen to read messages and when i click on it, it goes to messages obviously
but anyway to add it so unread bubble is over minimalistic text or a way to make missed it clickable. i see they have a setting for applications but don't know how to use that
i've created photoshop icons that say messages, however for the unread count widget, it's the one size and that's too small for me so looking for any way to do this if at all possible
Not to my knowledge. Ofcourse I've only been playing with them for about a week each. Hopefully someone else can chime in and help ya. Took me forever to get the Minimalistic widget set up, lol.
yeah there's so much that app can do, and missed it app is very similar just wish it could open an application like minimalistic can do
and sms unread does open the app, just doesn't look nearly as good as the other two apps
hmm, there's got to be a way but yeah, i'm hooked to minimalistic text

I know this is already and old-ish thread, but if you're still looking to do this: I think LauncherPro allows you to stack widgets.. So you might be able to put an empty MinimalisticText widget (no background and link to the application) over the MissedIt! widget.
I haven't really tried LauncherPro though, only read about it.. So I may be wrong, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that it can stack widgets. I can't find the exact link now, but I think it was something posted in the Post your Screenshots thread.
Edit: Uh.. I just bought Missed It! from the Market, and there's an option in the settings to launch the application associated with any notification being shown (version 1.5.3), so it looks like you don't need to use MinimalisticText to create links. But anyway, guess that option is still there anyway.
You can get SMS unread (and about a million other things) in MTW using Tasker
- sent from my HTC Evo "Seafone" using Tapatalk

Tasker looks cool, but in my local currency it costs R47.49 (ZAR) compared to MissedIt at R7.03. Pretty big price difference for simply displaying an unread notification count on your launcher home screen...
My Gmail is`nt working with Missed It, I have the account added or what not but when e-mails come in, it does`nt show on Missed It, any ideas?

Recommended Mail App

Hey all I've been on Android for a little under a year now and if there's one thing I don't like, it's been the e-mail experience. I can't find any mail app outside of the ridiculously priced Maildroid Pro that has what I'm looking for (and I don't even think what I'm looking for is unreasonable!).
Here's what I'm looking for in a mail app:
- Non-ugly icon (I'm looking at you K-9)
- Clean interface
- Support for both Hotmail and GMail with no issues and push notification (Evomail)
- Loads all images in e-mails by default, or at least with the option to turn this feature on (a lot of apps don't)
- Has an informative widget that displays the subject and brief bit of the body in it (SolMail has a useless widget that displays too little info and Evomail has NO widget unbelievably)
I'd be perfectly happy with the default Mail and GMail app (either or) on my Nexus 4 if it wasn't for the fact that neither of them display images automatically, and I have to click on "show all images" all the time. It's annoying. I'm not sure why all this is so difficult, especially when I had no problems with e-mail when I was on iOS. Is there anything anyone can recommend?

I saw that, but it doesn't help with my Hotmail account, and I want it all with one app. Any other recommendations?
In that case, I join your question, my main account is hotmail also, lol

I always end up going back to the good old gmail app.
The latest version of [email protected] Mail works brilliantly for me. I believe is covers everything you have asked for.

It seemed so, until I noticed that my Hotmail doesn't get pushed properly. I need both. Or am I not choosing certain settings correctly?

I am not having issues with my hotmail getting pushed.... It might be something to do with the settings being used.I am using pop3.live.com on port 995.
Don't know if this will help. I think I also had to make a change in the hotmail settings also but can't remember where that was sorry.

When I changed the IMAP server settings to read pop3.live.com, and port 995, it couldn't connect to the server?

You may need to look up the other settings required. I know there are more but that was all I could remember off the top of my head. I don't have my tablet here to check sorry.

Hi, as a SolMail Team, we want to improve the widget for you~ So, what's your opinion of perfect size of widget (with subject and brief bit of the body)? 1x1 or 4x2 is a little bit small, isn't it? Thanks for your opinion!

The default Mail and GMail app's style of widget is all I need. Subject, brief lines of body, done. The lines of the body should be changeable by the user. I actually use 5 rows of icons with Nova Launcher and would prefer 5x4, but as long as it's resizable just like the stock app I'm fine with it.

oops, sorry for late update.
We added resizable and scrollable widget on SolMail.(actually it's 2.0 update on May). It can be extended to the tablet size!
Thank you for your valuable suggestion.
I'm using Cloudmagic now, so far I have liked it. The only downside for you could be that the widget is quite simplistic. Anyway for me it works because I usually use the notification area to peek at new mails.
Oh and is really beautiful.

Unread counts - issue on Nova Prime

Hello , i am usin the nova prime launcher, an i really cant do without it, as i like the ability to have more than just one dock. Or edit icons and app names.
But here is the issue. I am using the nova prime + unread count.
But whenever i receive an sms or call , the number ''1'' of the notification appears on both the icons (sms) and (Call)
I have also noticed, then when i click over it it appears the ''dealer'' eve if i clic the 'sms icon with notification'' it appears the dealer.
If no notification present than the icon opens the ''sms'' section.
I also used the ''missed it'' plugin but the same ise happens.
i really don't understand the isse...anyone else has this problem ?
Any solution please?
thanx
Here is the photo of what i mean :
Me2
but have u see that the dealer app also contain SMS function
therefore SMS and the dealer icon will also appear 1 unread message
thats mean the function is overlapped
hope it useful
sry for bad English

[Q] Direct Dial/Text Widgets?

I miss the direct dial and direct text widgets from my S4. Does anyone have an app recommendation that would give me back that capability?

This was also on the S5 with lollipop so I don't know why they got rid of it... Only option is to set 1x1 contact widget.... Definitely a drag
Yeah....that 1x1 contact widget kinda sucks, though.
There's an app called Shortcut Dial. It lets you create a... well, shortcut for directly calling a contact. You can even remove the app after the shortcut has been created and it will stay there.
In their eagerness to debloat TW, Samsung removed a few things many found useful. For me, that includes the flashlight widget.
Does it only work for calling, or does it work for texting as well?
ETA: Ah, the dev also has an app called Shortcut 3-in-1 which does call, text and email.
