Im a newbee to this forum and have got an Android phone recently...Samsung Galaxy3 I5801... Would someone direct me or guide me with what all apps I can install on this one and as I told ... I have no idea about this Android thingy... And I heard that android version 2.2 is gonna be relaesd for samsung galaxy3 soon.... Has anyone got info on that ?

I have a question about the Samsung Apollo....
My wife has it running on 2.1....but the Live Wallpapers don't seem to be enabled. Is this a problem with the Samsung version of 2.1, or do I have to upgrade her to 2.2.
My LG ran Live when it went to 2.1, so why doesn't this?

yes u can make live wallpaper on ur 2.1 also but u need to root and do it

Hi im woundering can someone help, i installed a rom on my samsung galaxy s2 i9100 but i forgot to back up the original stock firmware and now i dont no witch was the right one. iv tried a few other firmwares they seam to work fine bit when someone rings me they can hear them selves speek on there end and i also can hear my own voice when im talking back. has this got to do with having the wrong firmware or is the earpiece faulty.

Hi guys !
Im upgrading my brother device (mentioned in the title).
Currently it has 2.3.6 and im using black market to download apps and games. It seems a great phone.
But he now want to upgrade to ICS maybe ?
So maybe im noob cuz i did only once this on a tablet and i would like a bit of help (not spoonfed).
Iv searched on google and i found cyanogenmod 9.0. But my bro NEEDS the camera and that isnt working on 9.0.
What do you advise ?

I have the GT-I8530 with 554MB ram. It has the 2.3.6 android, my question is, is it worth it to update it to 4.1.2? Will it lag af? Has anyone tried updating it? If yes, is it lagging too much?
